Most of you probably looked at that headline and had your answer in mind, but that might change once you see the images we’re basing it on.
Now, Kim Kardashian is very pregnant and while I do get a laugh out of some of her outfit choices, I always feel terrible afterwards because I know karma will bite me in the ass when I’m someday pregnant and fit into nothing but a muumuu. However, if and when I do become pregnant, I will certainly retire any and all heels, something that Ms. Kardashian has chosen not to do. And the consequences of that choice can be seen in this Would You Rather video compiled by gossip site TMZ.com. She is being pitted against Julianne Moore, who had an unfortunate shoe malfunction while walking the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival this weekend.
Both ladies are beautiful, but those photos do not do either of them justice. And it’s a little cruel of the site to put them against each other based on what appears to be their worst fashion moments, ones I’m sure both would like to forget.
That being said…Who would you rather?!
Just when you thought the ghost elevator prank was the creepiest gag you’ve ever seen, the same folk’s from Brazil’s Silvio Santos Program are at it again. And this time, you might just even pee your pants with horror (or laughter, if you’re really into dark stuff).
Rigging an elevator once again, this prank features a coffin and a man posing as a corpse inside of the box. Scaring the living daylights out of random strangers riding inside the moving cart, this trick seems more cruel than funny.
That being said, this is rather unrealistic because I’ve never seen anyone carry a casket like that before. But if by chance this ever happens to me in real life, CONSIDER ME OUT OF THAT ELEVATOR IMMEDIATELY.
I don’t care if I’ll be late for an appointment. There’s no way I’m sharing an elevator with a coffin!!!
Victoria Abraham defines one up and coming artist each week so you can impress your friends with your musical brilliance. This week, she tackles St.Vincent, an indie songstress, currently residing in Manhattan, who just released Love This Giant with David Byrne.
St. Vincent is a singer and multi-instrumentalist who takes the best parts of indie rock and combines them seamlessly with cabaret jazz and pop. Her clever, straightforward lyrics and unapologetic weirdness make for a lovely musical experience. She’s set to release an album with David Byrne titled Love This Giant on Sept. 11 and will be participating in the 30 Songs/30 Days Challenge to support Half the Sky, which turns oppression into opportunity for women worldwide.
Origins: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Full name: Annie Erin Clark. Her stage name “St. Vincent” is a reference to Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center where the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas died. Also, Annie claimed in a different interview the name honors her grandmother whose middle name was St.Vincent.
Known for: Clark is known for using a variety of musical instruments and arrangements, and for her happy lyrics that have an unmistakably anxious edge.
Used in a sentence: “St. Vincent makes the kind of music that you wouldn’t be ashamed of having as “most played” on your iPod.”
