After their wildly successful debut album Oracular Spectacular, two-man electro-pop group MGMT is back with their second shot at things – and they’re letting you hear it early.
While their sophomore album Congratulations is expected to be released on April 13, the band has posted the full album on their website after finding out that it was leaked all over the Internet.
“Hey everybody, the album leaked, and we wanted you to be able to hear it from us,” says a post on the band’s website, www.whoismgmt.com. “We wanted to offer it as a free download but that didn’t make sense to anyone but us.”
After a wildly popular debut, they have finally resurfaced.
MGMT have unveiled a song from their upcoming sophomore album, Congratulations, reports rollingstone.com. A free download for the track “Flash Delirium” was put on their website last Tuesday, March 9. The song, which will hit record stores as part of Congratulations on April 13, is different than the MGMT that fans are used to.
