Sandisk Corporation announced yesterday the 32-gigabyte SanDisk Extreme III CompactFlash card, the latest addition to the SanDisk Extreme III line of products. This new memory card is designed to meet the needs of professional digital videographers and photographers.

The SanDisk CompactFlash card provide increased capacity for longer-duration filming, and its 30MB/s (200x) read and write speeds enable users to record and transfer connect quickly and accurately. Such a feature is beneficial for photographer, camera crews and field producers who are typically working under tight deadlines.

The 32BG SanDisk Extreme III CF card is currently targeted for a October worldwide release, and will be retailed at approximately $300.
