It’s almost Superbowl season and that means a lot of unnecessarily expensive commercials will be shot with a lot of untalented celebrities.

Of course Kim Kardashian was looking to shoot one in the hopes of being able to pay off her legal fees she garnered when divorcing Khris Humphries last week. In fact, the reality star was about to star in a Skechers footwear commercial until she got replaced by a dog. A french bulldog to be exact.

If we took a nationwide poll to determine who’s hotter, I’m sure the bulldog would win by a landslide.

USa Today reports Skechers executives insist that negative press following her public divorce has nothing to do with their decision.

“Kim got us more attention than we ever dreamed,” says Leonard Armato, president of Skechers Fitness. The brand got 300,000 more ‘likes’ on Facebook after Kim signed a contract. I have a feeling Skechers will continue to do just fine without her.

Vince Offer, the ShamWow Guy, is Back With Another Commercial

You may remember him from those popular ShamWow infomercials or that time he ShamPowed a prostitute in the face and got arrested. If Britney can get three c0mebacks, who’s to say Vince Offer can’t get at least one?

The 47-year-old controversial pitchman is back with a new product on the market called the Schticky. It’s like a lint roller but ten times better. Judging from the commercial posted below, Schticky seems like it’s the best product to have around the house. The silicone roller can pick up all kinds of dirt, cobwebs, dust bunnies and kitty litter.

Yes, Offer is one of the creepiest guys alive – hearing him ask “are you having problems with that shedding pussy?” in the commercial makes me want to hurl – but he’s an arguably talented salesman (I already bought five Schtickys before the video was over).

Maybe Offer has learned from his gruesome mistakes and is looking for a little redemption. He does earn a few points for poking fun at himself by spoofing his own mug shot in the commercial. Just like anybody that’s ever done a really shameful thing, Offer just wants to move on and continue doing what he does best: selling products.

Justin Bieber in Macy’s Black Friday Commercial

I can’t decide who’s more loud and crazy: shoppers on Black Friday or fans at a Justin Bieber concert.

The U Smile singer is making everyone smile (and scream too) in this Macy’s commercial promoting the Black Friday shopping day event. In it, all the middle-aged men Justin encounters on his trek to Macy’s shriek at him as little girl’s would when spotting him.

You don’t see grown men ever vying for Justin’s attention so this commercial is really funny. Check out the short but sweet commercial posted below.

Snooki Does Funny Or Die Commercial For Fragrance

All the other celebs have fragrances, so naturally, so should Jersey Shore’s Snooki. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has officially launcher her perfume, Snooki, eau de Parfum, which is now available on HSN.

We’re sure all the juice heads will be lathering it on top of their spray tans in no time. There’s no word on whether or not it smells as fake as her tan.

Sure, the packaging is tacky, complete with pink and purple leopard print and rine stones, but Snookie made a smart move by going on Funny or Die with a commercial. They did a pretty good job!

The video, The Scent of Snookie, features her eating a pickle, stealing champagne, and being seduced by lovesick man vying for her attention. The ending confirms that it is actually a product, for the many of you out there with doubts.

It’s good to see the girl knows how to make fun of herself. Watch the video below

Selena Gomez Shows Off Bad Side with EMA Promo

19-year-old Selena Gomez is set to host this year’s European Music Awards taking place November 6 in Ireland.

The singer filmed the commercial and in it, she portrays the good, angelic Selena and the bad, pottymouth version. I have to say, I like the latter best.

She looks like a tough gangster chick with the big hoop earrings and bandana – she even attemps to rap.

“Its f***ing crazy growing up in this industry. I still a baby when hustled up to the scene. F*** you if she dare step in front of me. But that’s okay you see ’cause now I’m the queen.”

Whoa, nelly! This is a whole new side of Selena we’ve never seen. Do you think she ever turns into Badass Selena when she’s alone with the Beebs? Regardless, this is way more entertaining than watching her try way too hard to be a perfect, polite angel.

Drake in NBA 2K12 Commercial

There’s a new ad for NBA 2K12 which features Michael Jordan, Drake, and fans of the Portland Trail Blazers, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks debate which NBA team was the greatest of all time.

“Today’s Miami Heat plays above the rim,” Drake argues. “Larry Bird couldn’t even reach the rim.”

Later, he elaborates: “South Beach is king.”

A final line is delivered by Jordan: “I let my ring do my talking.”

Taylor Swift Releases New Wonderstruck Commercial

Taylor Swift released a teaser commercial for her perfume “Wunderstruck.”

In the video, Taylor is walking through a mansion in a stunning layered gown as she says in a voiceover: “It’s a spark, a connection, a rush of something new. Once you’ve been struck, you’ll never be the same again.”

The fragrance is supposed to come out this month.

First nail polish…and now perfume?

Looks like Beliebers will have something else to fawn over with the release of Justin Bieber’s new ad for Someday.his new perfume.

The commercial features a female spraying on the perfume while Bieber sniffs her neck repeatedly as he apparently finds the smell so irresistible. Soon after, the two defy gravity as they float around in the air together.

According to a press release by Zimbio, “Justin created Someday to give fans a personal invitation and intimate access to his heart.”

“It’s a fragrance he can’t get enough of and can’t stay away from, making those who wear it irresistible.”

The perfume will sell for $55 and is said to have a “sweet, fruity” scent.

According to the New York Daily News, it could earn the 17-year-old singer as much as $30 million.

Looks like the little boy he was once was is growing up into a man!! Tacky commercial or not, it is kind of nice to see the Biebs developing into a little business man. And as tacky as the commercial may be, I’m sure Beliebers everywhere are going to go crazy trying to get their hands on this!

But on another note, I wonder how Selena Gomez feels about him sniffing another girl’s neck

Lady Gaga is always on the hustle, and now she is hocking Google’s Android phone in Japan. The commercial features Lady Gaga and a cool remix of “Poker Face.”

According to PerezHilton the remixed track has now become the eighth most downloaded tune on iTunes Japan. So she gets paid to appear in the commercial, along with earning some extra bucks on the downloads.

Very smart Ms. Gaga!

Lindsay Lohan Not a Milkaholic

The first step is admitting you have a problem. The second step is making money off it. Lindsay Lohan has launched a $100 million lawsuit against discount brokerage company eTrade for using the name “Lindsay” in a TV commercial while referring to a baby with a love for the bottle.

In the ad, two computer animated infants talk over webcam about how the the little boy is building his business portfolio with eTrade. At one point, the girl baby asks, “And that milkaholic Lindsay wasn’t over?”

Lohan’s case to the court is that eTrade is using her infamous substance abuse problems in order to make a profit

“They’re using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn’t they use the name Susan? This is a subliminal message. Everybody’s talking about it and saying it’s Lindsay Lohan,” said Lohan’s publicist, Stephanie Ovadia, to the Post.

In their defense, eTrade is claiming that “Lindsay” was thought up after a member of the company’s account team.

NFL Drafts K’naan Tune For Commercial

Kanye West may be soundtracking the NBA’s playoffs campaign, but the NFL has Canadian hip-hopper K’naan in its corner.

“Dreamer,” a track from K’naan’s recently-released ”Troubadour,” is being used in a 2009 NFL draft commercial, which also features an appearance by the performer himself.

Also featured in the ad – a number of the NFL’s top prospects for the draft that goes down April 25 and 26, including University of Georgia’s Matt Stafford and Texas Tech’s Michael Crabtree.

K’naan is currently on tour in the U.S. and plays the Coachella festival today (Sunday) in Indio, Calif. Following that gig, he joins up with Snoop Dogg for a run of dates beginning May 4 in Little Rock, AK and wrapping up May 17 in Hilton Head, SC.
