Madonna arrived in Marseille, France, Sunday morning to visit some of the patients hospitalized after a stadium collapsed in the city during set-up for her concert, originally scheduled for Sunday, reports E! Online. The accident occurred Thursday, killing two and injuring more than 30.

Workers from the accident are being treated at three hospitals in the city. It is unknown how many Madonna will visit.

“I am devastated to have just received this tragic news,” said the pop star. “My prayers go out to those who were injured and their families, along with my deepest sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking news.”

Michael Moore’s documentary about the collapse of the global economy will hit theatres Oct. 2, the film’s distributors announced Thursday.

According to Overture and Paramount Vintage, the still-untitled documentary will explore the “root causes of the economic meltdown,” as well as “take a comical look at the corporate and political shenanigans” that resulted in the financial meltdown.

“The wealthy, at some point, decided they didn’t have enough wealth,” Moore said in a statement. “So they systematically set out to fleece the American people.”
