Clooney’s Ex Staying Single

George Clooney’s ex Sarah Larson is enjoying the single life, reports People magazine.

“It’s working for me,” she told the entertainment magazine.

Larson split from Clooney in May after dating for about a year. The model is spending most of her time working in Los Angeles and is not ready to jump into a relationship.

“I’m staying single,” said Larson. “I’m not dating anyone right now.”

“It was a large group of people and I didn’t even know he was at the table,” she said. “We talked for a little bit but it was nothing.”

Clooney, DiCaprio Team Up For Political Thriller

Two of Hollywood’s leading men are collaborating on a political thriller loosely based on Howard Dean’s failed 2004 U.S. presidential election campaign.

George Clooney is in negotiations to direct and appear in ‘Farragut North,’ in which Leonardo DiCaprio would play an idealistic communications director working for an unorthodox presidential candidate.

The two actors, known for their political activism, would also produce the Warner Bros. film.

The film will be adapted from an upcoming Broadway play written by Beau Willimon, a former Dean staffer. The play is named for the Washington Metro station located near many lobbyists’ offices, and follows a presidential hopeful’s candidacy as its promising beginnings are ultimately undone by more experienced politicos, who engage in dirty political tricks and backstabbing.

The play, to be directed by Mike Nichols, is scheduled to open in fall 2008, just before the presidential election.

No start date has been set for the film version.

Clooney: ‘I Feel Sorry For Young Hollywood Stars’

Movie star GEORGE CLOONEY admits he feels sorry for young Hollywood stars today, admitting he couldn’t handle the pressure they face.

The Out Of Sight actor admits he’s sympathetic to troubled stars Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan because he can’t believe the amount of attention they receive from the media.

He says, “If I were as famous as some of those kids who are on the magazines right now at 21 years old, I’d be shooting crack under my eyeball.

“We are always going to be that society that slows down to look at the car wreck on the side of the road. I think we’re just in one of those places right now, and it seems to be focused on younger kids Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan and people like that.

“They’ll get through it, but I wouldn’t want to be growing up around that.”

Soderberg: ‘Clooney And I Made Each Other’

STEVEN SODERBERG and GEORGE CLOONEY have each other to thank for their Hollywood success, because they were nowhere until they met – the director claims.

The pair’s collaboration on 1998 movie OUT OF SIGHT propelled them both to Tinseltown superstardom – and they have since worked together on six movies.

But Soderberg insists things could have been so different.

He says, “We found each other at the right time. We needed each other. We were both looked at as people with potential who hadn’t delivered. It was a trick of the mind for George and me to show up on set each day and be creatively free when we both knew what the stakes were. If we didn’t pull it off – if he didn’t prove he was a movie star, if I didn’t make something
audiences could enjoy – we were in big trouble.”

Clooney & Anderson Dating?

GEORGE CLOONEY and PAMELA ANDERSON have become Hollywood’s most unlikely couple after the pair was spotted frolicking together on a romantic, fun dinner date.

The Oscar winner booked a private room at Sherman Oaks, California restaurant the Valley Inn, and entertained the former BAYWATCH babe there on January 7, according to reports.

And since that evening, which ended with Anderson sitting on her date’s lap, the odd couple has been spotted out and about, enjoying dog walks together.

A pal says, “George and Pam have been determined to keep this one quiet.”

Bachelor Clooney has dated a string of beauties; Anderson split from husband KID ROCK last year after a brief three month marriage. She was formerly married to rocker TOMMY LEE.
