Ciara
What she’s wearing: The R&B singer stepped out in a black Pamella Roland sequin long-sleeve gown at the ‘VH1 Divas’ concert in L.A.
Why we love it: Ciara is a sexy singer and she showed us why in this look. However she hardly bares any skin except for the sexy deep v-neck and the sheer panels along the side. This gown looks easy and effortless while still interesting enough to stand out on the red carpet. She keeps her accessorizing minimal with no jewellery and allows her dress to do all the sparkling.
Maybe next time Allison, Ciara is actually America’s Next Top Model!
Takeaway: Sequins and sparkles are not for everybody but choosing neutral colour sequins are more universal and a lot more accessible to those new to sequins. And as most neutral colour dresses you can get a lot more mileage out of them year round then something in a bolder colour.
Kelly Osbourne
What she’s wearing: Osbourne attended the ‘VH1 Divas’ concert in L.A. In a white Paule Ka mini dress, Charlotte Olympia zebra heels, and her signature lavender locks.
Why we love it: Osbourne stood out in white on the red carpet and she looked magnificent in this glam-retro styling. Since she opted for a Little White Dress Osbourne was able to have a lot more fun with her styling, so she opted for some funky zebra print and fur shoes and an Eddie Parker clutch with metallic accents. The LWD also helped make her lavender hair pop, which she styled in a 1950s retro bouffant.
Preach! Big is beautiful, even big hair!
Takeaway: When your hair colour is more than just ordinary why not show it off and make it the main attraction of your look. Choosing a busier outfit will detract from your hair so going more simpler will make it pop.

Ten lucky fans got the chance to hang out with their favourite singer Ciara on ooVoo, courtesy of iD Gum. The contest winners each uploaded a video using ooVoo about why they deserved to talk to Ciara on Nov. 12.
Ciara answered questions about what inspires her, her rise to success and her guilty pleasures (red velvet cake mashed in ice cream). One of the highlights was when a fan challenged Ciara to a dance off, making everyone giggle. We love how easy going and fun she is!
Ciara is set to release her forthcoming fifth studio album One Woman Army in early 2013 through Epic Records. The album mixes her signature R&B/pop sound while documenting her journey in life.
In the meantime, you can indulge in her iD Gum chat with fans right here.
Ciara will be performing a free, livestreamed concert tonight through Myspace LIVE, meaning you can cozy up with some friends and indulge in a night of dancing and singing to hits such as “Goodies,” “Ride” and “1 2 Step.”
The Grammy-nominated R&B singer-dancer is performing with singer Austin Brown at Key Club in Los Angeles. While free tickets will be given away on a first-come, first-service basis at the club, the exclusive show will be live-streamed on Myspace beginning 11:30 pm (ET), presented by new iD gum. iD gum launched this September with unique twists on old flavors you love and the mindblowingly awesome digital ArtCade (kinda an art gallery kinda an arcade). If you haven’t been on their Facebook page we highly recommend trying the “Cat-A-Pult” it’s our favourite ArtCade game.
Ciara took a short hiatus from the music game to pursue her career in acting, starring in That’s My Boy with Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg in 2011. Now she’s set to release her fifth studio LP, One Woman Army, in Winter 2012/2012 through Epic Records.
The album mixes her signature R&B/pop sound while documenting her journey in life.
Joining her is Austin Jones, who is currently putting the finishing touches on his debut album Highway 85, to be released later this year. The singer has been getting a lot of buzz online and many agree his late uncle, Michael Jackson, would have been proud.
You’d think by now Chris Brown would know better than to assault a hard-working female artist – verbally or physically.
The hotblooded 22-year-old hip-hop singer has once again run his mouth on Twitter. This time, a young female rapper from Toronto, Lyracist, is on the receiving end.
NOW Magazine posted Lyracist’s initial tweet, dissing Chris Brown.
Chris wrote a nasty response which he later deleted. But according to NOW, he said: “I would love to kick Yo ass up but I don’t feel like donating any of my money to ur medical bill *****!”
Ouch! Although it was Lyracist who started the fight, she’s letting Chris Brown take all the blame for the rude remarks. She told NOW she knows she made a rude remark that sparked a plug, but felt the remark was clever nonetheless.
Needless to say, Chris should lay off on threats and could have taken a different approach, since we’re still reeling from that incident with Rihanna. He too could have made a witty or sarcastic rebuttal and left it at that. But, no, Chris Brown continues doing what he does best: threatening women.
Lots of feuds start on Twitter every day with celebs. They sure make fighting with 140 characters an art. Here’s three hilarious tweet battles from the past few years.
Kelly Osbourne vs. Tila Tequila
Kelly tweeted: “I equate Tila to a fart. She is disgusting, stinks, is publicly embarrassing but kind of funny…No matter what you try and come back with the tampon says it all.”
Tila wrote back: “”is that the BEST u got? I’m TRASH and my tampon??? LMAO B—- PLEASE! AT LEAST MY TAMPON IS EXTRA SMALL AND YOU HAVE TO WEAR DEPENDS DIAPERS.”
The twitter winner: Kelly. She’s right, Tila is not only a public embarassment but completely irrelevant in 2011.
Lil Kim vs. Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj apparently tweeted “Lil Kim U Next” after news of Osama Bin Laden’s death broke the internet. She later deleted the comment.
Lil Kim wrote back: “You cheap stocking cap glued $10 bag hair wig wearing b***. Get a lace front!!! FYI Indian hair don’t come in green…”
The twitter winner: Although andPOP loves Nicki Minaj, we agree with Kim. If you really have something to say, don’t be a coward and delete it 5 minutes later.
Rihanna vs. Ciara
In response to Ciara going on t.v. claiming Rihanna wasn’t nice in person, Ri tweeted: “My bad Ci, did I forget to tip you? How rude of me….You gangsta huh? Ha.”
Ciara replied: ”Trust me Rihanna you don’t want to see me on or off the stage.”
Ri wrote back: ”Good luck with bookin that stage you speak of.”
The twitter winner: Rihanna. She’s kind of true on that last tweet. Rihanna’s been on a world wide tour for most of 2011 and Ciara…well, I think she played a set on BET or Ellen once.
Rumors are circulating that Ciara and Ludacris are dating.
MediaTakeOut.com reports that Ciara and Ludacris were dating for a bit a few years ago, but she dumped him. However, the couple were seen hanging out very recently, and looked pretty close.
An insider says, “Ciara asked that Luda NOT bring [Eudoxie] to [club] Opera. And the two were kickin it all night together. Of course, they left together too.”
Follow the 8.9 scale earthquake that hit Japan Friday morning, there has been an outpour of support via Twitter and other social networking sites from everyone and celebrities have sent their condolences and best wishes. Katy Perry, who just finished a leg of her tour in Japan: “My prayers go out to anyone that is being effected by the disaster in Japan… #prayforjapan.”

Get ready for a hip-hop/R&B extravaganza, because Jay-Z and Ciara are joining forces for a summer tour.
“I will say it because the information has been leaked. Me and Jay-Z will be doing a 10-city tour run together! More details coming soon!” Ciara announced via Twitter on Monday.
Jay-Z’s representative confirmed the tour to Billboard.com, though she said it wouldn’t be a 10-city tour. However, she would not confirm the exact number of shows, and the full tour schedule has yet to be unveiled.
Singer-songwriter, dancer, fashion model, actress Ciara is quite the force to be reckoned with. Even if you tried to, it’s almost impossible to deny her rising influence in the music industry.
After the 23-year-old artist first released her single and album ‘Goodies,’ (which sold over five million records worldwide) in 2004, rumours surrounding Ciara’s sex arose. Some critics assumed that this foolish speculation would result in an early demise for this young singer.
But, in one of those (many) life moments, they were proven wrong.
Two years later, Ciara’s second album ‘Ciara: The Evolution’ went platinum five weeks after its release. Her chart topping singles “Get Up”, “Like a Boy” and “Promise” and her appearance in Missy Elliot’s Grammy award winning video “Lose Control” proved this artist was just starting to make her mark.
Now, Ciara’s upcoming highly anticipated third album “Fantasy Ride” is certain to be her biggest career hit to date. According to reports, the album includes guest appearances by Ludacris, Young Jeezy, Missy Elliot and the now media disgraced Chris Brown.
Both her collaborations with Enrique Iglesias for “Takin’ Back My Love” and Justin Timberlake for “Love Sex Magic” exude an overwhelming mixture of sexiness and classiness. In both videos, even with the presence of good/bad boys Enrique and Justin, Ciara manages to steal the spotlight.
Ciara’s new video “Love Sex Magic” certainly lives up to it’s name. The steamy video features Ciara and Timberlake engaged in sexy dance scenes and near make-out sessions. MTV reports that Ciara said “It’s all about showing another side of me with this video.” While Timberlake said “I just kind of wanted to create a song for a female that was along the same lines as a male who could have swagga on an album.” “Love Sex Magic” will be featured on Ciara’s new album, Fantasy Ride, due out this spring.

The earth’s evolution has taken billions of years. Ciara’s evolution, apparently, has taken two albums.
At just 21 years old, Ciara decided to call her second album The Evolution. Isn’t it a little soon to be calling your album The Evolution?
“No,” says Ciara, without a second of hesitation. “There’s an evolution that’s definitely taking place in my career.”
Well, maybe it’s a bit early in anyone’s career to boldly state that The Evolution is now (perhaps I Am Evolving would have been more appropriate, but it doesn’t sound as good as a title). But with the technicalities aside, it is tough to argue with Ciara when she says that a change has occurred.
It was about three years ago that her debut single, Goodies, began playing on the radio. Ciara was entering a music scene filled with 20-something female R&B artists, but she sounded different. With the help of producers Jazze Pha and Lil’ Jon, she because the “First Lady of Crunk & B.” Other hits with 1, 2 Step and Oh followed and her album, also called Goodies, sold over five million copies worldwide.
She was shy, she was still a teen, and she was evolving.
In December, Ciara released The Evolution, which debuted atop the Billboard chart, selling close to 350,000 copies.
With the sophomore release, Ciara took a hands-on approach with all aspects. She not only co-wrote most songs, but she co-produced them as well.
“It’s funny because I learn more about myself every day,” she says. “For example, I’m now co-producing, which is something new for me. I can really see myself going somewhere else with that and just taking that to another level for myself. And even as a writer, I’m just pushing myself harder and harder every day and really want to tap into different things.”
Ciara’s also tapping into projects away from music. Like Gwen Stefani, an artist she has opened for, Ciara wants to start her own clothing line. But when she thinks of an artist who has succeeded at branching out beyond music, it’s Sean “P. Diddy” Combs who comes to mind.
“I think that he does an amazing job, especially at being an entertainer,” Ciara says. “He’s just well-rounded, he’s just an amazing entrepreneur to me and I also respect that.”
