Christina Ricci and Cedric the Entertainer are headed to the Renaissance Faire.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the two actors are among the newest additions to the cast of “All’s Faire in Love,” a romantic comedy directed by Scott Marshall (“Keeping Up With the Steins”).

Also signing up for roles are Owen Benjamin (“The House Bunny”), Nadine Velazquez (TV’s “My Name Is Earl”) and Bill Engvall (“Blue Collar Comedy Tour”).

The movie, originally titled “Ye Olde Times,” will follow an eager drama school grad (Benjamin) who is made the fetch boy of the Renaissance Faire theatre troupe. Things start looking up when he falls in love with a Faire virgin (Ricci), but colleagues may derail the budding romance.

Cedric the Entertainer, taking over from the once-attached Jack Black, will play Professor Shockworthy, who narrates the film in fairy-tale style.

Also attached to star in the That’s Hollywood/Patriot Pictures production are Ann-Margret, Matthew Lillard and Louise Griffiths.

Shooting begins this month in Michigan.

Ricci, who recently starred in “Speed Racer,” will next appear in the ensemble shorts movie “New York, I Love You.”

Meanwhile, Cedric the Entertainer appeared this year in “Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins” and “Street Kings,” and has several films in post-production including “Caught on Tape” and “Cadillac Records.”

50 Cent is in final negotiations to star in Home of the Brave, a dramatic wartime film concerning the conflict in Iraq.

Samuel L. Jackson, Jessica Biel, Christina Ricci and Brian Presley have already signed on to star in the project, which follows three soldiers and the difficult adjustments they must make upon their return home from the battlefield.

The independently financed film will begin shooting next month in Morocco with a budget of U.S.$12 million. When production moves to Spokane, Washington, producers will then approach studios for a distribution deal.
