Star Trek Into The Darkness hits theatres today and we can’t help but swoon over Captain James T. Kirk as played by the damn fine, Chris Pine (see what I did there?).
From playing Anne Hathaway’s pseudo-nemesis/love interest in The Princess Diaries 2: The Royal Engagement to commanding one of the world’s most popular space ship for the Star Trek franchise, we take a jog through memory lane and trace how his career has evolved.
The one broship to rule them all is back! Star Trek: Into the Darkness stars Zachary Quintos and Chris Pine are lighting up the endless press tours with a war of words. But don’t worry, it’s nothing vicious. Just a friendly exchange of Scrabble in real life.
Just watch as the two throw out words like “propinquity,” “milieu” and “superfluous.” It’s a video worthy of your next SAT prep course.
Is it just me, or has everyone become a little obsessed with lego lately?
We’ve had lego Michael Jackson, lego Harlem Shake, a huge replica of Hogwarts, etc. I’m not complaining or anything. It’s pretty rad. I just find the obsession coming out of left field.
Anyways, here’s a rad lego remake of the trailer for Star Trek: Into the Darkness:
and here’s the original for comparison:
How do you think they did?
Now that Oscar season is over, movie fans can all get ready for the summer of blockbusters.
Set to release on May 17, the film directed by J.J. Adams follows Captain Kirk as he leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a man with mass destruction on the mind.
While recent trailers have focused on Benedict Cumberbatch’s villanous role, this new trailer follows Chris Pine’s Kirk as he goes through plenty of explosions chases and one giant fish.
Who’s pumped?!
I have to admit here that when I saw Cumberbatch on the screen, my heart did something quite unnatural.
Last nights commercials in between the Super Bowl were plentiful, but this one is our favourite for one specific reason – Benedict Cumberbatch. This trailer gives us a better look at Cumberbatch’s villain, and his psychotic ways. Definitely has a Sherlock air to it. If it wasn’t time before to get excited, it’s definitely time now.
“You think your word is safe, but it’s not.”
I can already see the intensity of this role, and I could not be more excited. Words do not express what it will be like to see Cumberbatch with Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto on the big screen. Bring on ALL the beautiful, talented people.

“Shall we begin?” YES. PLEASE.
Star Trek Into Darkness, directed by JJ Abrams, is the sequel to the 2009 film. It is coming out May 17, and we will surely be there.

Jason Mesnick and Jillian Harris — reality stars of ABC’s “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” — may have to move aside because “Gossip Girl’s” Chase Crawford is “the hottest bachelor” according to People magazine.
After all, the 23-year-old actor has had quite a busy year. Crawford starred in one of the most buzzed-about TV shows, garnered a role that allows him to share the screen with Kiefer Sutherland and has recently been cast as the lead in the highly anticipated “footloose” remake.
But don’t be fooled by his success, Crawford’s ideal date involves a simple beer and pool table. “All you need is a pool table, beer, an electric jukebox and good conversation,” he told People magazine. “The day a girl beats me in a game of Beirut [a kind of beer pong] is a good sign!”
“Star Trek’s” Chris Pine and “Transformers” star Shia Labeouf have also made the cut. This year’s list also includes “American Idol” runner-up Adam Lambert and “90210’s” Ryan Eggold. From “Twilight,” both Robert Pattinson and Kellan Lutz are listed among the 45 bachelors.
