After a combined six seasons of playing Zack and Cody Martin on the Disney Channel’s The Suite Life series, Dylan and Cole Sprouse left the famed company and headed off for college in real life. But according to this interview, the Sprouse twins wouldn’t have minded doing another season—if they had it their way.
Dylan recently explained what he and his brother would’ve done if they had another season of The Suite Life series and why they decided to leave Disney in a recent interview with Conversations With Nat on YouTube.
According to the video, the twins were hoping to have at least one more season of show where they had more creative control over the general direction. They wanted the characters to get off the boat, go back to living with their mom in The Tipton in Boston, and Mr. Tipton would go bankrupt. Cody and Zack would’ve also been training their own protegé before Cody went off to college and Zack worked at a used car dealership.
Sounds awesome right? Too bad Disney didn’t think it was flashy enough. The Mickey Mouse company wanted to set their story in Miami, have none other than Selena Gomez on the show and kept the twins’ name off the producers’ credits, according to Dylan.
“… Cole and I looked at each other and laughed in their face and walked out,” said Dylan. “And that was the last meeting we had with Disney.”
What a shame. Dylan sounded like he wanted to do another season of The Suite Life for all the right reasons. Too bad it wasn’t enough for Disney to handle.

Jamie Lynn Spears
Jamie is best known as her lead role in Zoey 101 and younger sister of the legendary Miss Britney Spears. In 2007, she announced that she was pregnant with her daughter Maddie. That was probably the last time you heard from her. Spears left the limelight for a few years and moved to a quiet town in Mississippi, with her then boyfriend and first love, Casey Aldridge. Last month, Jamie took the stage at 3rd & Lindsley in Nashville, TN where she dedicated a song to her older sister Britney, “I Look Up To You.” Do you want to see an album from her soon?
Dylan and Cole Sprouse
You can’t forget these adorable twins from Disney’s The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. They actually turn 20-years-old tomorrow (almost fully legal) and are both currently attending NYU. Seems like this group of guys (below) fan-boy hardcore while waiting for Dylan Sprouse to leave class. Not only was Dylan nice enough to chat and take a group photo with the fellas, he’s totally laid back and not so “Disney” anymore. I love how the guys break out into theme song as he continues to walk away.
