Charlie’s Angels Remake in the Works

Drew BarrymoreABC is reportedly close to ordering a pilot for a new series reviving 1970s hit Charlie’s Angels, reports CBC. Josh Friedman, who did Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, will write and produce the series.

Drew Barrymore, who starred in and produced two Charlie’s Angels films in the early 2000s will also reportedly be involved.


Farrah Fawcett’s Son Redmond O’Neal Goes to Rehab

Redmond O'NealRedmond O’Neal, son of Ryan O’Neal and the late Farrah Fawcett, was sentenced by a judge Friday to one year in a residential drug treatment program, reports Perez Hilton. He was charged with bringing heroin into a jail facility, to which he pleaded no contest.

If O’Neal, 24, violates his probation in any way, he could face up to six years in prison.

His mother, a former Charlie’s Angels star, died June 25 at the age of 62 after a battle with cancer.


Farrah Fawcett Hospitalized

Farah FawcettFarrah Fawcett has been hospitalized and is in bad shape.  Fawcett has been battling cancer for three years and recently returned from Germany, where she had experimental stem-cell treatment. Sources told RadarOnline.com that she is critical but stable in a Los Angeles-area hospital. They also say she is unconscious and has been hospitalized for days.

The 62-year-old Charlie’s Angel, who was first diagnosed with the disease in 2006, has been hospitalized in Los Angeles since Thursday, according to People.
