To tide you over until Kelly Clarkson’s Greatest Hits — Chapter 1 album, she released her music video for “Catch My Breath.” The video is pretty plotless, serving instead as an homage to Clarkson’s beauty. The video features Clarkson singing in a long, dark gown, punctuated visuals of the elements.
The song is the lead single from her the forthcoming album, out on Nov. 16.

Okay, so the song definitely isn’t even anywhere near the same vicinity as Kelly Clarkson’s past hits (Miss Independent, anyone?), but “Catch my Breath” is damn likeable. The American Idol winner pretty much nails it with this song, because she perfectly captures where she is right now in her career. The single, which is supporting her upcoming Greatest Hits — Chapter 1 album, explains how Clarkson sometimes needs to take a chill pill and realize how far she’s come.
