The Webby Award winning Grumpy Cat has landed his very own movie deal.
Grumpy cat’s reps are working with Broken Road Production producers to develop a feature length movie, starring the moody feline. The film will be Garfield-esque, reports Deadline.
In the film, Grumpy Cat (whose real name is Tardar Sauce) will be given the gift of speech in the live action film. Now, I know what you’re thinking. Tardar Sauce? Really?
The movie deal is just one of this cats many accomplishments. This frowning feline was deemed the most influential cat of 2012 my MSNBC, and the most important Meme of 2012 by Mashable. He has also appeared on The Today Show , Good Morning America, CBS Evening News, Anderson Cooper Live, VH1 Morning Buzz and The Soup.

It’s more like curiosity got the cat. This cat just had to find out what was going on inside the empty box but ended up getting his head stuck inside the box. He ends up having to fight his way out. The best part is when another cat comes in and gives him a sort of “are you okay” look. Yes, I believe cats give looks.
Now this might just be me, but if my cat had its head stuck in there I probably would rush to remove it rather than to continue filming as it struggles. But again, that’s just me.
During my brief tenure as an actual cat owner, I tried my best to teach my cat how to skateboard. I mean, if dogs can do it, cats can too, right?
Wrong. The only time I got a cat on a skateboard was when they were wee kittens who didn’t know any better. Even then, they would stare longingly at the ground, pitifully enough that I felt so bad that I had to pick them up and comfort them right away. Once they got bigger, they would just hop right off the moment i placed them on the skateboard.
I only wish I knew then the secret to being the ultimate cat owner: boxes. Perkyballs on YouTube (nice name) obviously knew and came up with what is possibly the best cat video of this year.
FACT: Cats are more like humans than you think.

This cat looks like it’s in absolute pain as its owner Dave Webster calmly washes him/her. I’m actually surprised Webster lasted this long. The cat was pretty much saying, “NOOOOO!” the whole time.
Somehow after seeing this video, I don’t think this made for good human/pet bonding time.
This cat was so desperate to make his way outside that he did what I thought – before seeing this video – was impossible: he opens five COMPLETELY SHUT doors by himself to make his way onto the porch and into the sunshine. Not one, not two, not three, not four…five. I was impressed when he got the first one. Baffled when he got the second. Floored when he got the third. And then after that it kind of hit a plateau. I mean, how much amazing stunts can I watch a cat do before I start feeling sorry for myself?
In this case, it was 10 – It’s so unbelievable I had to watch it twice.
Sometimes, it doesn’t take much to create a heartwarming moment. Seeing a kitten with a can over its head, this cheerful man embraces the animal and helps the animal out of its predicament.

When it’s the middle of winter, I like to throw all of my fresh-out-of-the-dryer clothes onto my bed and cocoon myself in its warmth. This cat found the best way to keep warm: stick your head on popcorn. If only Tina Fey saw this video before 30 Rock ended. I’m sure Liz Lemon would’ve dunked her head in a warm bowl of popcorn too.
