Because I’m the most amazing best friend anyone could every have, I stole my best friend’s new phone the moment she got it and promptly locked myself in my room only to record the world’s most heinous cat ringtone. To be fair, I did start with a really cute “meow” but it apparently wasn’t loud enough so I ended up with a recording that sounded like a mix between a whale and a frightened horse. When her phone rang, it pretty much scared everyone around her.
That fleeting memory obviously got me thinking how this real life cat would react if it heard my monstrosity of an imitation. This kitty sounds so genuinely concerned for the phone’s “meowing” ringtone. If it were my friend’s phone, there’s no doubt that it’d be thinking, “we must kill it with fire.”
I know a lot of people who don’t like to eat in front of others (I, of course, am not one of them, as I can be seen at any hour shoving copious amounts of snacks into my mouth). I didn’t think that was the case with animals, but apparently I was wrong.
This adorable – if not slightly creepy – cat does not appreciate the attention he’s getting at meal time, and puts a lot of effort into avoiding the camera. And he actually does a pretty good job. He could make a career giving celebs advice on how to avoid the paparrazi.
A Virginia news anchor couldn’t keep her shit together as she was delivering the night’s top story: a fat cat who goes swimming. The cat in question, named Holly, “is a 13-year-old cat who dislikes the outdoors and other physical activities” (GPOY!). Because of her lack of exercise, Holly now swims to stay in relative shape and uses a life vest to do so. No wonder WDBJ7′s Susan Bahorich couldn’t keep it together. Just look at that cat’s expression. She does not want to be there at all and has suddenly realized that Garfield has been lying to her the whole time: you can’t just eat lasagna all the time and have it all! The lies they tell us.
This morning ANDPOP is bringing you all the cutest animal video’s released over the past few days. Prepare to “awww” and “that’s so cute” at horses, cats, and even frogs. What is it about animal video’s that have us constantly amused? I’m not sure. It is a question that will go down in internet history.
The Frolicking Horse
I feel like Glee’s Kurt and Blaine’s “Baby It’s Cold Outside” should be playing in the background as this horse frolic’s in the snow. By “frolic” we mean this horse is rolling around in the snow. If this were a person, we would think they were crazy, but because it’s an animal, we consider this very cute.
The Harlem Shaking cats
I have no idea why this is still a thing…but behold cats doing the harlem shake. You win this time harlem shake, everyone loves cute cat videos.
The Romantic Sloth
Prepare to swoon Kristen Bell. This is the cutest sloth you will ever see, because he’s good with the ladies. Sloth, will you be my valentines day next year?

I’ve had hours of fun taking selfies using the trippy carnival camera on my Macbook but I’d never considered the hilarity of inviting my cat to join in the fun. While I’m not sure the experiment is considered “fun” by this adorable cat the video willprobably make you snort laugh.
The best part about this video isn’t the adorable cat playing the theremin (which is already pretty great) but the “WHA??” look his BFF gives him at the end. For those who don’t know, the theremin is an early electronic musical instrument which is controlled without physical contact from the player.
Since when do kittens stay where you put them? My cat Farley is perennially disobedient and would probably claw my jugular if I tried to bend his arm let alone lovingly cradle him. In this video, uploaded to YouTube by Spug Spugly features the kitten Bean. Apparently she’s easy to manipulate when she’s dreaming.
Here at ANDPOP, we pride ourselves in bringing you the very best of cat videos. Now we present the mother of the genre, that combines nearly every good cat video IN HISTORY. It’s no mere viral video, it’s a comedy, tragedy, drama and horror. Compilariz we bow down to your cat compilation skills.
Watch it here:
Cats are obviously one of the greatest pets anyone could ask for. Not only do they clean themselves, and have about nine lives, they also have superpowers. Kinda. This cat is just like a baby, you can’t take your eyes off of it for a split second because you won’t know where it will be next. Either this little guy just had some catnip and is totally active, or he can teleport. You decide?
That deserves a treat.
Who says that dogs and cats can’t get along? If it wasn’t for this clever kitty, those dogs would of been locked in the other room. I have a feeling the cat just wanted to be one of the “guys” and did them a favour to get into their cool books.
Sometimes it makes me wonder how pets learn to do these kinda things, remember the dog who fetched his owner a beer? Soon you won’t be having to yell for your girlfriend to make you a sandwich, Whiskers over there will do it for you.
It’s nearing the end of your workday so you’re probably all woozy from your caffeine withdrawal and anxious about the impending subway ride home. This kitten will probably keep you upbeat for AT LEAST 14 minutes, which is 14 more minutes of being upbeat than you would have been, had you not watched it.
This Scottish Fold kitten Dr. Meemersworth (awesome name BTW) nibbles his owners ears while they’re asleep. It’s seriously adorable and after serious research — which consisted of watching muchos viral videos and avidly following Taylor Swift’s cat Meredith — I decided that one day I’m also going to get a Scottish Fold cat.
I find it ironic that this disruptive cat, who miraculously falls through a ceiling toward two students, is interrupting a class at the University for Peace. Get it? Because he’s a disturber of the peace and… okay, that was a poorly laid out joke (if you can call it that) but the video will speak for itself.
THE CEILING CAT IS WATCHING YOU. HE ALWAYS WINS.
This is the type of video I’ll literally go home and watch over and over again. I’ll gleefully show it to my friends over wine, however, they never laugh as childishly or authentically as me. I’ll hold on to the memory, bust out the video weeks later and they’ll say warily: “yeah, you already showed us that one. Remember? Wipe your tears, it’s not that funny.”
But the thing is, they’re wrong. Because nobody makes cat videos like Russia. Plus the song “Super Cat” has the most inspired lyrics I’ve heard of late: “Super cat/ He will protect and save everyone/ He is a millionaire and a cool bro/ In a bitching mask/ Is fluffy and awesome.” [Source]
Challenge: watch this extremely confusing pink-tinted cat video and go on with your day like nothing happened. We’re just as confused as you. But it’s awesome and you’ll probably watch it again.
Ninja kitty is so stealthy, he strikes when you least expect it. This plush toy racoon was just chilling on the top of the couch when all of a sudden there’s a quick flash and the racoon is gone. The feline is in fact a trained ninja, perfecting the art of whip-fast assassinations.

This cat has something very important to tell you and he won’t stop talking until you listen. He’s basically the Cujo of cats.
My cat Farley flips out so much if a bit of water gets sprayed on his fur that he ninja jumps up and tries to bite into anything that can be punctured, usually skin. So I can only assume this cat is the Tarzan of the feline world. This kitty fearlessly wades into the perilous ocean, probably to catch some fish. Cute!
This poor little guy isn’t as nimble as most cats. He’s just chilling on the TV, minding his own business, but when he decides to switch up locations and jump to the nearby window ledge he unfortunately jumps a little too short.
Luckily the furball lands on his feet — at least he doesn’t totally misrepresent the physical dexterity of cats.
