Multiple reports state that Casey Aldridge, the father of Jamie Lynn Spears’ 10-month-old daughter, Maddie, was rushed to the emergency room this weekend after being involved in a bad car accident.
Spears, 18, and Aldridge’s sister are at Casey’s side where he is hospitalized at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, according to sources. Staff at the hospital would not confirm that Aldridge is undergoing treatment there.

Pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiancé Casey Aldridge are ready for parenthood.
The couple recently purchased their first home together in Liberty, Miss., and the duo are preparing for the arrival of their child, who is set to be born by the end of June or early July.
“They’re very happy,” a source tells People Magazine. “They’re a fun little couple.”
The parents-to-be recently bought furniture, including an elaborately carved four-poster king-size canopy bed, a leather recliner, and a leather sofa.
Spears’s mom, Lynne, is planning on helping her 17-year-old daughter decorate the nursery, with the color scheme of pink, brown, and silver-green.
Spears and Aldridge, got engaged in March and plan to wed soon after the baby is born.
While Lynne Spears may appear to be supportive of daughter Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy, she at first demanded that Jamie Lynn not keep the baby.
A source told the National Enquirer, “…Lynne demanded that Jamie Lynn not keep the baby. At first, Jamie Lynn agreed, but then Casey (Aldridge, the father) talked her into keeping the baby. Lynne doesn’t believe Casey loves Jamie Lynn, even though he wants to marry her. She thinks he got Jamie Lynn pregnant on purpose for money and the fame of being the father of her baby.”
The Enquirer also claims that Aldridge has cheated on Jamie Lynn with at least three other girls, one of whom he also impregnated.
It wouldn’t be a day that ends in “y” without more Spears family drama.
According to Star magazine, Casey Aldridge is not the father of 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby. “Casey is being paid off to be the family’s fall guy while the real father remains unidentified,” the mag reports. While Aldridge is 18, just days less than two years older than Spears, it is rumoured that the father is older and would be charged with statutory rape if he was revealed. Two sources told Star that the man they believe to be the real father is someone who works on Spears’ Nickelodeon kid’s show, “Zoey 101.”
Spears and Aldridge are currently not together, as Aldridge said in a post on his MySpace profile.
