I seriously don’t know the relationship status between Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber. I thought they were back together but I just can’t assume these things anymore. Last month Selena’s on/off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber landed a double cover of Teen Vogue, and now it’s her turn to grace the newsstands with her cover of InStyle.
But Selena’s won’t be the only face you see on the magazine shelves, here are June’s other cover stars:
Demi Lovato
Selena’s former BFF gets on the magazine action too as she cover’s the June issue of Company.
Miley Cyrus
However, when it comes to former Disney child actresses none can compare to Miley Cyrus. She is this month’s cover megastar! Not only did she land a double cover for Elle UK but she also got three covers for V Magazine. It’s safe to say that we’ve all moved on from Cyrus’ Hannah Montana days as she is a bona fide high fashion darling.

The season 4 American Idol winner is hitting a big milestone today! She’s turning thirty!
Since her 2005 debut, the country crooner has sold $15 million albums worldwide, and cranked out numerous #1 hits including “Before He Cheats,” “Carnival Ride,” and “Undo It.” (not to mention she married the very attractive Canadian hockey player Mike Fisher – you go girl).
In honour of her birthday, I’m posting my favourite Carrie Underwood song of all time: “Blown Away.” I never get over how amazing it is!
What’s your favourite Carrie Underwood song?
You’re coming with me mom!

Justin Bieber took home all three of his nominations at the American Music Awards Sunday night: Pop/Rock Male, Pop/Rock Album for Believe and Artist of the Year. He decided to bring up the most important woman in his life, his momma Pattie Mallette. Easy on the arms Justin, we know you’ve been working out and everything but she’s so fragile! Congrats! [christmaslove]
Story of my life

If you’re someone like me, I spend practically 90 percent of my money on concert tickets. It’s quite sad when you think about it, but hey, it’s spent on my idol and I’m never gonna forget it. Did you hear ANDPOP is giving away tickets to see Justin Bieber on his Believe Tour in Toronto Dec. 1? Make sure you enter before it’s too late! Good Luck. [opparr]
Always picking on Nath..

Sure Nathan may be the youngest member of The Wanted, but he proved himself in their newest music video, “I Found You.” I’m just waiting for the day he can sucker punch one of them just for the hell of it. I’m sure they won’t take it so harshly anyways. All the guys have great personalities! [redvelvetlipsbreakingallrules]
Rice krispies to the next level

Let’s be real, who doesn’t like a yummy winter treat? Instead of making the plain old square rice krispies, turn it into a little snowman and decorate it with candy or chocolate of your choice. It doesn’t get any better than that. [under-the-m1stletoe]
The cure to all problems

There’s one lyrical genius who can turn any situation upside down, and help you feel like you’re in a happy place again. Some call him “Ginger Jesus,” but Ed Sheeran is definitely one to look out for. He’ll be touring alongside Taylor Swift on ‘The Red Tour’ starting next year. [sup-maggie]

These days, it’s all about crossing musical genres. Guaranteed you’ll have a solid Top 40 hit if you mix dubstep with pop or throw a little rap into a club banger. Jimmy Fallon and Carrie Underwood certainly understand that. The two showed off their little known singing group from the 90s called “Jim Carrie” on Late Night and performed countrified rap songs.
C’Rap, as it’s called, takes classic rap songs and throws in a little twang. And it certainly is C’Rap — in the most hilarious way possible!

Miranda Kerr
What she’s wearing: Kerr was spotted arriving to her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show rehearsal in NYC in a heather grey wool coat and matching sheer top, a peekaboo blue blouse, black leather short shorts, embroidered Isabel Marant Betty ankle boots, and a Givenchy Antigona bag.
Why we love it: I love how she takes her outfit to the next level by matching her heather grey coat to her heather grey top. Also any look that keeps on giving the more you look at it is A+ in my books – her blink or you might not see blue blouse and black bra are subtle details that add to this ensemble. The black leather shorts break up all the grey and add some much needed fabric variety.
Takeaway: Some people forget to realize that your jacket can really enhance your outfit underneath and vice versa. Sometimes we use jackets as a stand-alone look separate from the clothes they cover underneath and that can be a real shame if you spent so much time putting your outfit together only to cover it up with a jacket.
Carrie Underwood
What she’s wearing: This Alice + Olivia gold sequin boatneck flare dress was one of 12 dresses Underwood changed into to host the Country Music Awards.
Why we love it: Not only is that a lot of costume changes but it seems inevitable that she was would wind up on this list since the odds were ever in her favour. This number stood out from the rest due to its flared silhouette. I also like how she mixes metals (a sleek gold sequin top and silver Jerome C. Rousseau sandals) with the white cupcake tiered skirt.
Takeaway: Mixing metals can be tough but it helps when you use one metallic colour as an accent colour minimizing its effect on the overall look. It also helps to have a neutral colour to break up the metallics (and mainly because metallics and bold colours usually don’t mix).
Rita Ora
What she’s wearing: The U.K. singer stepped out in London in a sleek black leather dress, over-the-knee zip up leather boots, and an oversized trench coat with floral lining.
Why we love it: There’s no denying Ora got some funky style but lately she’s been really stepping up her game. However Ora is still keeping it edgy but with a high fashion twist. This is a lot of leather but it works for her and also because the silhouette is not overtly dominatrix but pretty conservative despite its leather fabric. Ora’s coat might seem a tad too big for her but there’s been a trend of celebrities rocking oversized coats, also wearing your coat like a cape seems pretty popular too. The coat also adds a pop of color since its lined with a floral fabric.
Takeaway: Leather has returned as an on-trend fabric. We haven’t really seen a full leather look until now but most celebrities have been rocking pieces of leather in their outfits like shorts and skirts. Leather clothing can be quite expensive, so make sure whatever leather item piece you buy is versatile enough to work with the clothes already in your closet.

Twelve-year-old Chase will probably always remember the Carrie Underwood Blown Away concert he went to on Saturday night in Louisville, because it’s where he got his first kiss. And it wasn’t just any old first kiss in the basement of a BFF’s suburban home during a game of truth of dare (what? No that wasn’t me), it was a lip-to-lip peck from the country star herself.
Underwood invited Chase onstage after seeing his sign that said: “Will you be my first kiss?” She warned him that her husband Mike Fisher was somewhere backstage and might come looking for him. Despite this, Chase boldly asked for a lip-lock, instead of an innocent kiss on the cheek.
Later, she tweeted: “Thanks, Chase, for the kiss and thanks Louisville for rocking so hard tonight! We had fun!”
And I bet you anything he was like this the whole night:

Ellen Degeneres has knocked out nine (count ‘em) NINE seasons of her talk show, which means she’s onto her EPIC tenth anniversary. For her upcoming season, Ellen conveniently called up her famous buddies to promote her show, including Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Aniston, Carrie Underwood and Steve Carell.
Ellen was a little demanding with some of her promos, including one with country singer Taylor Swift, who she urged to stay silent for the entirety of the clip. Whenever Taylor speaks Ellen is all “shhh.” But that’s okay because Tay has a GORG smile anyway, even if it’s a tad awkward here.
In the promo with Nicki Minaj she says Ellen has that “boom badoom boom, boom badoom boom bass, she’s got that super bass,” which we all knew anyway but it never hurts to get confirmation from the girl herself. [Source]

In the world of celebrity news, there’s no shortage of hits and misses. This week, Carrie Underwood supports gay marriage and Lindsay Lohan gets set to work with a porn star for an indie thriller.
HIT: One Direction write songs for their girlfriends
What use is your boyfriend if he has a sweet voice but won’t write any songs about you? Absolutely none. So it’s nice to see the boys of 1D put their talent to work. They’ve been busy penning song for their next album and it seems they’ve been inspired by homesickness and their girlfriends. The next time I go to the dentist, he’ll have a couple of cavities to fill because this is beyond sweet. Note: there are still a couple single 1D guys up for grabs.
MISS: Chris Brown wears gold fangs

After seeing pictures of this, British GQ was right to dub Brown the worst dressed celebrity. First of all, who even wears gold grills anymore? I thought all rappers got rid of those when Kanye started donning Louis Vuitton back in the early 2000s. Secondly, he’s a bit late on the Twilight vampire phase, isn’t he? (Yes, even I know Twilight vampires don’t have fangs. Gosh.)

This adorable little girl who’s dressed head-to-toe in hot pink is probably too young to understand the lyrics in Carrie Underwood’s “Good Girl” but that doesn’t mean she can’t rock out to it like the rest of us.
Her carseat belt does very little to restrain her aggressive moves as she shimmies around from side to side while her aunt records her. I’m surprised the three-year-old was able to memorize so many of the lyrics, though if she has practised as much as she has her dance moves it’s not surprising. ADORBZ!
Filming kids singing hit songs seems to be all the rage lately. We saw two friends pout along with Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know” yesterday and a dad lead his kids in a rendition of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” not too long before that.

Carrie Underwood has two different sides in her new “Good Girl” video. On one hand, she’s sweet frilly and pink but she also has a darker alter-ego — you know, the type of girl who wears black clothes, leather and sheer tights.
The new video is for the lead track from her fourth album Blown Away, which comes out on May 1. There’s not much of a plot line for the new video, but it does feature lots of drool-worthy clothes and artsy shots of heels. We see floral Carrie, hipster-glasses Carries, seductress Carrie and we can’t forget Stepford Wife Carrie.

There’s a promising country twang to Carrie Underwood’s new “Good Girl” single and it makes me wish summer were coming sooner.
The song is about a well-bred “good girl” who strays to the dark mildly naughty side, ie having drinks with the gals, flirting with the guys and YouTubeing NBD Worldwide. Oh! Living on the edge aren’t we Carrie?
The song is a catchy anthem for prepsters who secretly think they live life a little more dangerously than the rest, just because they wear their shirts a little too tight and their skirts a little too short. That said, Carrie kills the song (in a good way) and it will probably be stuck in my head all day.
“Good Girl” will be on Underwood’s still-untitled fourth studio album, which will be out on May 1.

NBC’s ‘The Voice’ has announced that they’ve enlisted more celebrity talent for their upcoming season – this will surely challenge those over at ‘American Idol’ the most watched show on television.
According to Rolling Stone, each of the show’s panelists will now be joined by two celebrity advisors from the music industry. Cee-Lo Green will be joined by other R&B heavyweights, Ne-Yo and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds. Maroon 5′s frontman Adam Levine will have some help from Alanis Morissette and Robin Thicke while mentor Christina Aguilera will be joined by Jewel and industry-icon, Lionel Richie.
“I trust the show more than I trust the record industry at this point,” said Levine about reality show singing contests, in a recent Reuters interview. “It is a very tired format, but in a way this is a very fresh way of doing it.”
Another mentor, country-star Blake Shelton is pulling in two reality-show veterans – his wife, Miranda Lambert and Kelly Clarkson. That’s right, Seacrest.
“I chose Miranda and Kelly because they both survived reality television shows,” Shelton told reporters at an annual gathering of TV critics. “I just wanted somebody who could talk to them about what they were going through.”
Executive producer and reality show innovator Mark Burnett admits that the show’s success hasn’t yet fulfilled its expectations. Last year’s winner Javier Colon (who?) released his album and peaked at no.134 on the Billboard 200 album chart. That doesn’t even come close to the success of “Idol” winners in the vein of Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.
It’s impossible to predict success in the ever-changing music industry and even making a name for yourself in the Billboard chart is a huge feat. Though this season could change everything, again.
The new season of ‘The Voice’ premieres February 5 on NBC.
American Idol turned country star Carrie Underwood teamed up with veteran country crooner Brad Paisley to mock the big divorce of 2011.
The two were on stage presenting an award with Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet. Brad busted out the guitar and all three began singing about the failed reality show marriage.
“I’m going to love you forever, or 72 days Amen. I’m going to love you for 20 million dollars, for a hit TV series or pics in Us Weekly, for 72 Days, Amen,” they sang.
They also made fun of Justin Bieber’s baby dilema and Taylor Swift’s dating life. I’m no fan of country music or award shows, but I am a fan of public defamation. This was probably the highlight of the entire award show.
Look at the video posted below. The fun begins at the 5:40 minute mark!
American Idol alumnus Carrie Underwood called into Ryan Seacrest to update him on life and her new album.
She said about her new album; “I’ve been writing quite a bit and been in the studio a little bit so I have half an album done right now and trying to fill in the gaps and try to figure out what pieces of the puzzle are missing, but it’s a fun time right now just figuring everything out.”
And now that she’s married, she said; “We started out being married, he was still living in Ottawa and I was living in Nashville and now we actually live together under the same roof so that has changed. It’s really nice having him around.”

Having just won the coveted title of “America’s Favourite Singer” on American Idol, Scotty McCreery is already thinking long-term about his career as a singer.
Catching up with The Boot during the Country Music Awards Fest, the Idol winner talked about the pressures of winning the show.
“It’s a lot of pressure. Just the title of ‘American Idol’ is something that people can look up to. I’m not Saint Scott, I’m not Mr. Perfect but I want to be that role model,” he said.
Alluding to fellow Idol winner and country superstar Carrie Underwood, McCreery wants to go down a similar path as her to achieve success.
“I want to go down the same road that Carrie Underwood did — kinda separate myself from ‘Idol.’ Because when you think of Carrie Underwood now, you don’t think “‘American Idol’ Season Four winner,” you just think “Carrie Underwood.” I want to cross that bridge.”
It’s good that McCreery is thinking big and not wanting to be just another faded American Idol winner (ahem…Ruben, Fantasia).
But just a teenager, McCreery doesn’t plan on moving to Nashville just yet to launch a country music career.
Still only 17 and in high school, he plans to stay in his hometown of North Carolina for now to see how things work out in the future.
Carrie Underwood has officially become ‘American Idol’s’ top earner, surpassing season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson.
As of May 16, Underwood’s album sales topped 12,296,000 and she’s moved more than 18,482,000 digital tracks since winning season 4.
Clarkson is close, though, selling 10,600,000 albums and 15,900,000 digital tracks since 2002.
Underwood has also spent a healthy chunk of the last two years on the road, racking up more money from touring. While Clarkson’s international presence is stronger than Underwood’s, who plays mostly to U.S. and Canadian audiences, she’s devoted less time touring and more time working on her as yet unreleased fifth album.
To compare the two, Clarkson’s tour revenues since her win is around $32,000,000, while Underwood has pulled in twice that amount since 2006, around $66,000,000.
As for the rest of the idols, we have rocker Chris Daughtry in third place with 6,104,000 album sales, while Clay Aiken comes in at fourth with 4,990,000 and Fantasia at fifth with 2,809,000.
Clarkson and Underwood are definitely my favourite ‘Idol’ winners, so I’m glad they’re on top. Underwood is lucky she has the country music scene on her side – that genre generates so much money, it’s ridiculous.
Country star Carrie Underwood married NHL player Mike Fisher last night at a Southern luxury resort.
People reports their wedding planner called the ceremony “a spiritual expression of their love” – a special moment for a “very special couple.” 250 friends and family were apparently in attendance.
“We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!” the newlyweds told PEOPLE in a statement, signing their names “Mike & Carrie Fisher.”
Although traditional weddings have big and elaborate wedding cakes, this particular wedding is going to be different. In a recent interview with CMT Radio, Carrie Underwood said that she will be having cupcakes instead.
“I consider myself a very traditional person. More than anything, we’re going to get married, that’s the important part. And we want everyone to have a good time, so we’re doing some things like that, that are a little bit different,” she said during the radio interview.
Underwood also said the wedding plans have been moving slowly given Fisher is still finishing his season with the Ottawa Senators.
Many celebrities spent the weekend in South Beach for the Super Bowl, reports E! News. The CAA held an exclusive party Saturday night at the W hotel. Attendees included Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, as well as Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez.
Carrie Underwood, who sang the national anthem at Sunday’s game, was also in attendance, as were Jessica Alba, Adrien Grenier and Derek Jeter.
Director Michael Bay hosted a Big Give, Big Game party for charity at his mansion that same night. CW couples Ed Westwick and Jessica Szhor and AnnaLynne McCord and Kellan Lutz were spotted there.
Carrie Underwood is no stranger to performing since rising to fame after winning the fourth season of American Idol, but the Super Bowl can make even the most famous nervous.
According to People.com Carrie Underwood is performing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Sunday night’s game, and is quite nervous to do so.
“I am going to be extremely nervous,” the 26-year-old country singer told CMT Insider. “If I look like I am about to get sick on the field, I may at any moment during the song.”
