A lot of little boys picture themselves scoring a touchdown in a huge stadium with the roar of a cheering crowd in the background. And with the help of the Nebraska Huskers, 7-year-old Jack Hoffman got to live that dream.
Hoffman is a cancer patient who has been close to the team’s running back, Rex Burkhead, since last season, and he scored a 69-yard touchdown for his heroes in their annual Red-White spring game yesterday.
This is such a touching gesture by the team and an amazing opportunity for Jack and his family. Watch the video of his big moment and try to hold back the flood of tears that will inevitably build up behind your eyes:
Naive Justin Bieber fans could have been down a head of hair after anonymous 4Chan trolls posted a fake screenshot of a tweet by Entertainment Tonight that Justin Bieber was diagnosed with leukaemia. Tweets from celebrities seemed to confirm the news:

The thing is, Bieber was never diagnosed with cancer (thankfully) and Entertainment Tonight NEVER posted that tweet. Following the “news,” so-called Beliebers began posting photos and videos of themselves with their heads shaved with the hashtag #BaldForBieber. Turns out, most of them were just posers in on the prank.
It’s a despicable prank to direct at teen girls and if you had to have a license to be on the Internet I’d say REVOKE THAT SH*T. Making people believe that someone — anyone — has cancer, is not funny.
These days, you never know what that 4Chan bunch will do. They’ve messed with Taylor Swift and Mountain Dew, among others. Someone who was in on the joke stepped at the beginning, with a firsthand account:
This is actually not true at all. I was there when we started this shit. Somebody made a few twitter accounts, we edited Wikipedia, we spammed chat rooms, and we even posted here on Reddit (but it was deleted for lack of evidence). Somebody made a few fake news posts too which were convincing but without a link it wasn’t enough. The girls you are seeing are actually sisters/girlfriends of a few /b/tards that did this to try and convince other girls to do it. I’m trying to find one of the YouTube videos of some dude’s sister fake crying but I can’t seem to find it at the moment. [Gawker]
Yikes!! The pranksters even set up a fake website with one of the videos below. Be careful what you read online everyone, it’s a wild, wild world out there.

After a huge social media campaign called Healing Hailey, his four-year-old superfan got a private meeting with her favourite singer, Justin Bieber. She got to spend five minutes with the heartthrob backstage at his Milwaukee concert on Sunday night.
Hailey’s parents started the campaign on Twitter and Facebook after their daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor in August. An inspiring video featured a bunch of high school students and teachers sharing motivational messages on signs.
Although she had to get clearance from her doctors to attend the concert, she tweeted afterwards “Dreams come true #believe.”
Mission of the day: Get Justin Bieber to visit a fan named Hailey Roser. The four-year-old was recently diagnosed with brain cancer and all she asks is to meet her favourite singer. To help her out, students and teachers from Holmen High School filmed a touching music video message to the singer, inviting him to visit her in Wisconsin.
The students share their message by holding up inspiring signs for Hailey in different parts of the school such as “be a Fighter” and “you are beautiful.” Hailey also makes a cameo in the end, with her swag Justin Bieber T-shirt, telling the popstar that she loves him and wants to meet him.
We have to make this happen people!!
Proving that he’t not just a superhero on the big screen, Christian Bale has set out to make a four-year-old boy’s dream come true.
Jayden Barber, who was diagnosed with terminal bone cancer, received a hero’s welcome August 23rd in his hometown of Boardman Township, complete with a Bat Signal, Bat Mobile and an appearance by Christian Bale himself!
But since it has been announced that Jayden’s cancer is in remission, Christian has sent the little boy on a dream vacation to Disneyland.
It’s nice to see celebrities taking their time to help others who look up to them. Christian Bale, you ROCK.
PLEASE. DONT. EVER. CHANGE.

As Scooter promised, yesterday he and Bieber flew Avalanna and her family to New York City to make her dream come true.
