With baseball season in already in full swing, my Facebook feed is full of the requisite “at the Jay’s game!” selfies as taken by people I barely talk to or know. It’s fine, whatever. I don’t really watch baseball but being at a game is pretty relaxing, especially when you have a beer on hand. I totally understand why the moment is Instagram selfie worthy.
But this one lady took the baseball selfie game to a whole new level at an Oakland A’s game earlier this week. She starts with a “hey, I’m dranking some beerz!” selfie, and a “Look how close I am to the field shot.” THEN SOMEHOW, SOMEHOW, SHE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO TAKE A SHOT OF HER BOOBS WHILE IN THE STANDS. YOU’RE SITTING BEHIND THE PLATE. PEOPLE CAN SEE YOU!
Apparently, the A’s won but who cares when shit like this is happening?
While we’re on the topic of selfies, why don’t you watch us Talking Sh*t on Selfies or check out the latest episode of #NoFilter featuring Lights?

Victoria Abraham defines one up and coming artist each week so you can impress your friends with your musical brilliance. This week, she tackles Casey Veggies, a hip-hop artist from Inglewood, California.
This 19-year-old from Inglewood, California who once described Toronto as wavy, and who sites Kanye West and Nas as inspirations, has said he wants to show that young artists can rap about more than just dancing and partying, while still remaining cool. So far, it seems like he’s on the right track, with a new album on the way.
Origins: Inglewood, California
Full name: Casey Jones
Known for: Casey is known for his lyrics and trend-setting ways.
Used in a sentence: His name was partially inspired by the fact that vegetables are good for you, and Casey is definitely good listening.

Five fun facts:

2. Casey was one of the original, founding members of OFWGKTA, but left to do his own thing
Victoria Abraham defines one up and coming artist each week so you can impress your friends with your musical brilliance. This week, she tackles Cimorelli, a girl group from Sacramento, California.
Cimorelli, pronounced sim-or-ELL-ee, is a group of six singing sisters who are as talented as they are adorable. Ranging in age from 12 to 21, the ladies combine their love of R&B, hip-hop, country and 80s synth pop to create a unique musical sound. Most of their songs are done a capella with occasional instruments. The ladies are currently working on their debut album.
Used in a sentence: “The Cimorelli singing sisters make ordinary siblings seem so unimpressive. They’re basically a modern Von Trapp family.”

Fun facts:
The sisters are part of a big family that includes five brothers — leading to a total of 11 children. Their mother Lynne is a music major, composer and choir director. She began teaching her daughters music between the ages of two and four. She taught them classical piano, three-part barbershop harmonizing and vocal jazz. Read more…
Back when One Direction was filming the music video for “What Makes You Beautiful” on a sunny beach in Malibu (must be nice), they sat down on the sand, gathered Kumbaya-style and sang Oasis’ classic “Wonderwall.”
In the video, Niall sits on a cooler playing the guitar like Noel Gallagher in his flashy aviators, while they all harmonize in front of the surf. The video is kind of retro One Direction (check out Liam’s hair!) but it’s still a good cover to wrap up this last bit of summer.
Their rendition has received harsh criticism from 1D haters who say British music has descended from the likes of The Beatles and Oasis to One Direction. @supersonicyy0uth tweeted: “one direction have covered Oasis is that why it’s raining so much, the sky is crying?”
Once in university, a friend was driving me home and stopped to do a few fast-paced donuts in an empty parking lot (don’t tell my law-abiding parents). It was pretty thrilling though I’ll personally stick to the old 10-mile-an-hour three-point turn, thanks. I’ll leave the tricks to the professionals.
This video was shot in the actual streets of San Francisco, California, a.k.a one of the most hilly places to drive in the States. Ken Block treats the city like his own urban playground, doing epic stunts in the heart of the city. He also called on his friend Travis Pastrana to make a cameo on his dirtbike.
The Ben Conrad-directed video was filmed in four days for DC Shoes.

Sometimes compliments have the exact opposite effect than we intend. You might compliment your friend’s new shoes and then they spiral into a mess of insecurities of why you pointed them out in the first place or they wonder if you were just mocking them. Even though the compliment was genuine, the person might think you were just being polite.
This knee-jerk reaction is probably because we don’t give/get enough compliments, so when we do hear one it results in general confusion. That’s why Timothy DeLaGhetto drove around California and gave pedestrians drive-by compliments. He said in the video: “Hopefully we can make someone’s day today.”
Many of the people don’t know how to react when he compliments their beanie hats or tells them they’re cool. Still, I’m confident they went home and gave themselves a positive affirmation in the mirror.

Coachella came to a close last night in California but (cheese alert) the performances live on… through YouTube at least. Coachella partnered with YouTube to offer much of the festival online through live streaming and few users were able to capture the broadcast and post it for us to watch over and over.
Santigold
Santigold brought a giant dancing horse onstage, who followed them from New York. The set-list included “Disparate Youth” and “Say Aha.”
Azealia Banks
Banks was booked for 45 minutes but apparently only performed for 25, with a set-list that included “Bambi,” “Firestarter” and “Valerie.”
Childish Gambino
Donald Glover invited Kenrick Lamar and Danny Brown to the stage with him to triple the awesomeness.

Hmm..I guess those topless photos weren’t cutting it.
Because now, Octomom is doing what she swore she would NEVER do: go on welfare.
TMZ has learned that the mother of 14 is getting $2000 a month from the State of California which will be deposited straight to a special debit card which can only be used for food.
Known as Nadya Suleman, Octo qualified for the card because her income is less than $119,000 a year … and a family of 15 that makes less than that amount is entitled to welfare benefits.
I can’t say that I didn’t see this coming but with all the publicity she’s done in the past (not to mention that horrifying topless photo she modeled for), I’m surprised she isn’t making a substantial amount of money just for her that.

Best Coast’s new single “The Only Place” is an upbeat track to listen to with your friends on a sunny afternoon.
Frontwoman Bethany Cosentino sings: “We were born with sun in our teeth and in our hair / When we get bored we like to sit around, sit around and stare / At the mountains, at the birds, at the ocean, at the trees / We have fun, we have fun / We have fun when we please,” she sings. This ain’t Keats or Yeats, no. But gosh, it’s catchy.
The song is about living and loving California, where Cosentino is from. Though I don’t live there and it’s bitterly cold today I can certainly imagine it with this track.

I used to watch Degrassi back when Drake played Jimmy, a character who lost the use of his legs after being shot by a student gunman. Drake is a lot different than his character but decided to pay homage by debuting the “Wheelchair Jimmy” dance during a live performance in California. He was performing his hit single “The Motto” when he performed the move.
While a lot of people cheered him on, others found it offensive, though I doubt very much that he meant any foul.

Jeremy Lin now has yet another thing named after him.
Dubbed Linsanity OG, there’s a new strain of marijuana inspired by the New York Knicks’ basketball player.
And rappers are already endorsing the product.
This morning, rapper Stalley tweeted a photo of the bud for for the whole world to see. Rick Ross, who apparently took Stalley shopping, also Instagram’d a picture.
Looking at the label, it appears that an eighth of an ounce of Linsanity OG costs $60.
Thankfully for Jeremy Lin fans who don’t smoke marijuana, there are several other “Linspired” products to purchase that are probably safer and more affordable.
Well, maybe except the Jeremy Lin rookie card or the boxer briefs from Harvard.

Coachella, one of the most popular music festivals of the year, will be expanded over two weekends in 2012, reports Billboard.
The newly-expanded festival will be held over two consecutive weekends at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The festival will apparently “attempt to produce two identical weekends” with the same lineup and locations.
On Coachella’s website, organizers say high demand and the rise of counterfeit tickets are the reason behind the expansion.
“We know many of you were unable to attend this year’s festival because passes sold out much sooner than anticipated. We were truly surprised by the overwhelming response and remain honored by your passion and enthusiasm. We also know some of you purchased through non-legitimate sources and were inconvenienced, gouged or totally scammed. We hope that these changes will give everyone the opportunity to purchase directly from Coachella.com.”
Rightfully so. This year’s festival, which ran from April 15 to 17, sold out in a week, leaving many fans avidly pissed. Performers included the Strokes, Robyn and Kanye West, among others.
The price for a three-day pass to the 2012 festival will be $269 plus fees. Weekend passes go on sale beginning this Friday, June 3, at 10 a.m. PT. You won’t want to miss it!
Lindsay Lohan is apparently taking her time in rehab very seriously and staying clean and sober. RadarOnline reports that even after a painful dental procedure, Lindsay has refused anything to ease the aches.
“Lindsay had tooth surgery this week,” said a source close to Lindsay, continuing, “She had teeth removed and won’t even take any painkillers for the pain.” Lindsay has been seen as a complainer in the past, so it’s surprising that after a dental surgery she’d be so willing to stick to her program.
She is currently at the Betty Ford Center in California receiving treatment for her substance abuse addiction—namely her cocaine and alcohol problems.
“She’s taking her time at Betty Ford very seriously,” the source said. Well, you know what they say; the 5th time’s the charm! Err… at least we hope so for Lindsay’s sake.
Funnyman Adam Carolla has written a new book titled “In Fifty Years We’ll All Be Chicks,” which touches on a variety of topics, including gay marriage, border control, airport security and the legalization of marijuana.
In the book, Carolla comments that he believes marijuana should be legalized. As he tells PopEater, “I’m Republican, but I’d like pot legalized.”
Yet another Hollywood celebrity who is getting with the times.
What do these people do with all their money? Singer Toni Braxton has filed for bankruptcy in California, which is amazing considering she has sold over 40 million albums!

– The Internal Revenue Service
– BMW Financial Services
– ADT Security
– American Express
– Flamingo Las Vegas
– Mesa Air Conditioning
– Nevada Power Company
– Screen Actors Guild

– Wells Fargo Bank
Braxton is no stranger to bankruptcy, having also filed for it in 1998. We guess she still hasn’t learned her lesson!
Swell Season played a show at the Saratoga Mountain Winery in California Thursday night and everyone in attendance witnessed a man commit suicide right in front of them, reports Billboard.
During a break between songs, as band member Glen Hansard was talking to the crowd, a man leaped from the top of the winery building and landed on the stage.
An audience member told the San Jose Mercury News, “I saw him standing there on the edge of the roof, I thought it was a part of the act, and then he took off running and jumped, did a couple of flips and landed on the stage,” continuing, “It was pretty traumatic.”
“The band, crew and all involved with them are shocked and saddened by the unfortunate events of last night,” reads a statement the band released to the press. “Their hearts go out to the victim and his friends and family.”
As was apparent when the doctors in attendance failed to resuscitate the man, he died as a result of the fall.
Lindsay Lohan might not be getting treated like a star in jail (not that anyone should expect to be) but once she gets out her odds are going to turn in her favour, at least by a little bit.
As per Judge Marsha Revel’s orders, Lohan has to complete a 90-day rehab program after she’s done serving her “hard time” and TMZ has learned that she will be spending her three month stint at a facility located in Newport Beach, California. Now, rehab can’t be all fun and games, but Lohan definitely lucked out with getting this location!
Lohan will be getting out of jail in the next few days and must show up at the rehab centre within 24 hours of her release—just enough time to pack her bikini and sunglasses!
Eonline! is reporting that the residences of several celebrities, including Oprah Winfrey, Rob Lowe, Michael Douglas, Ellen DeGeneres, Kevin Costner and Jeff Bridges, are being threatened by a fast-growing wildfire that has broken out in Montecito, California.
The fire started around 6 p.m. Thursday evening and has spread across 2,500 acres. 100 residences have already been burned, and if the fire continues, 1,500 more homes could be at risk.
In an unusual form of promotion, the stars of “Mad Money” will appear on a California Lottery scratch ticket late this month.
Katie Holmes, Queen Latifah and Diane Keaton star as Federal Reserve employees who plot to nab all the money that is set to be destroyed.
The photo on the ticket show the women being joyously rained down on with money.
The “Mad Money” prizes range from $10 to $1,000 or prize packs for the film, which opens Janurary 18.
