Butch Walker has spent a lot of time behind the scenes, but he feels his time to be at the center of the stage is now.

Walker has produced hits for everyone from Avril Lavigne to Kelly Clarkson. Rolling Stone named him 2005′s producer of the year.

This summer, he released his second album, “The Rise and Fall of Butch Walker and the Let’s-Go-Out-Tonites.”

We caught up with Walker in Toronto to talk about everything from the album to Avril.
