SANDRA BULLOCK has signed up for shooting lessons after standing by helpless as a fan tried to run over her husband.

The Speed star watched in horror as Marcia Valentine attempted to kill Jesse James in her Mercedes after driving the vehicle onto the couple’s Orange County, California estate on April 22.

Valentine has been charged with aggravated assault and stalking and told to stay away from the actress and her family, but Bullock isn’t taking any chances.

According to U.S. tabloid National Enquirer, the movie star has signed up for shooting lessons at an indoor range near her home.

SANDRA BULLOCK’s husband and MONSTER GARAGE host and co-producer JESSE JAMES has been fined $271,250 for violating California’s clean-air rules.

The fine was imposed by the California Air Resources Board, which alleges 50 of James’ custom-built chopper bikes violated rules by not having state certified emissions equipment on their exhaust systems.

As a result the bikes sold between 1998 and 2005, were giving off hydrocarbons at up to 10 times the state limits, said PAUL JACOBS, chief of the board’s Mobile Sources Enforcement branch.

James, who also hosts and co-produces MOTORCYCLE MANIA, was not available for comment.
