Michael Bublé won two trophies at the Canadian Smooth Jazz awards on Friday, bumping his total to five since the annual event was launched in 2005.
This year, Bublé took home Male Vocalist of the Year and best Original Composition for “Everything” during the gala held at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, Ont.
Jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall was awarded the female vocalist prize, her second time capturing that title.
Album of the year went to Toronto-based singer and pianist Carol Welsman for her self-titled sixth CD.
The night’s performers included Welsman, who took the stage with “What a Fool Believes,” Alfie Zappacosta, Warren Hill and Montreal native Les Sabler.
The other awards doled out were:

Singer MICHAEL BUBLE has played down rumours he is set to marry his actress girlfriend EMILY BLUNT.
Buble says he and The Devil Wears Prada star laughed at recent news reports suggesting the pair were engaged.
He says, “We had a good laugh about that one.”
The Call Me Irresponsible hitmaker also claims he hates “gushing” celebrities who constantly showcase their relationships – and won’t be calling Blunt pet names in the press.
He says, “I get really turned off reading celebrities gushing about each other. ‘She’s my snooky-wooky-pooky and I’m the luckiest man in the world!’”

Canadian singer MICHAEL BUBLE didn’t realise girlfriend EMILY BLUNT was an actress when they first met – he thought she was a TV producer.
Buble met the Devil Wears Prada actress at one of his concerts in 2004, but it was only when he saw her movie My Summer Of Love that he believed she was a “f**king brilliant” actress.
He says, “I had it in my head that she was a producer for the BBC and so asked what kind of programmes she made. And I admit that when she replied that, no, she was an actor, I thought, ‘Right, like every other person waiting on table.’”
