Yesterday, we saw how Rian Johnson’s Looper would be like if it were remade into a movie full of dirty jokes, farts and cheap humour. But what if Looper was secretly just a remake of a 90s film?
Here in the Disney version, we see scenes of a little Joseph Gordon-Levitt and a much younger, hairier Bruce Willis in what seems like…a heartwarming, family classic.
I was pretty mind-blown after watching Rian Johnson’s Looper last night. From its crazy fight scenes to the story’s wicked concept, I just couldn’t stop thinking about the film after watching it.
But what if Looper was remade into Pooper? Filled with disgusting fart sounds and cheap humour, I couldn’t help cracking up at this parody trailer. As stupid as this looks, the editing was just TOO GOOD.
WARNING: Wear headphones, because this video is not safe for work…nor is it appropriate during lunch time.
Yikes. Looks like Joseph Gordon-Levitt got into a bit of trouble for his comments during a Comic-Con panel this week.
Promoting his new film Looper with co-stars Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt, Gordon-Levitt tread into dangerous water when he complimented Blunt’s sense of humour by saying: “She’s funny…and let’s face it, most pretty girls aren’t funny.”
But while co-star Blunt tried to mask her shock compounded by the moderator’s attempt to joke about how pretty women don’t need to try to be funny, the 50/50 actor quickly backtracked and said, “I don’t want to make sweeping generalizations.”
Oh Joseph.
I know we all say a lot of stupid things in life, but I really hope you didn’t mean that. There are several gorgeous and hilarious women in the world! Think Emma Stone, Tina Fey or Mila Kunis! Even your pal Zooey Deschanel is quite funny as well.
And besides, the idea of beauty is subjective.
The official trailer for Looper is out and it looks totally awesome!
Directed by Rian Johnson, the science-fiction film is a futuristic look at gang culture. Set in the year 2042, Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays a mob hitman who assassinates targets that arrive from the future of 2072. While it’s just a job for the mobster, all is well until he receives a new target: himself from the future.
Also starring Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt, the film is set to come out on September 28.
Since time travel, action and loud explosions have always fascinated me, I am pumped to see this movie! But other than that, JGL is looking particularly buff for this role. Having made good career choices in 500 Days of Summer, Inception and 50/50, it will definitely be interesting to see him kicking his own ass from the future.

After a week of teasing the teaser, the Looper trailer is finally out.
Starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt, the futuristic sci-fi film revolves around an assassin (Gordon-Levitt) who jumps back in time to kill his targets. Things get complicated when he’s assigned to kill his future self (Willis).
Gordon-Levitt as a badass and time traveling? Smells like a winning combination to me.
Wes Anderson’s new creative (and probably lucrative) outlet is to direct Hyundai car commercials. And they’re actually pretty good. Not that we would expect anything less from the indie filmmaker, but generally I find commercials are interchangeable with “bathroom breaks.” These are more than watchable.
The two ads, for Hyundai Azera SUV, premiered at the Oscars and have a recognizable Anderson feel. Little did I know that Anderson has directed commercials in the past, including one for Stella Artois beer, AT&T and American Express.
Anderson’s new movie Moonrise Kingdom, with Bruce Willis, Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman will be out in late May.

Tallulah Belle Willis, the 17-year-old daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, has been arrested for underage possession, reports TMZ.
Law enforcement sources say cops spotted three girls getting out of a car in Hollywood at around 11:00 PM, carrying what appeared to be two bottles of alcohol. The officers probed further and determined it was indeed alcohol. Problem is, all three girls are underage.
Tallulah Belle and her friends were then cited at the scene for underage possession, but since Tallulah Belle is a minor, cops couldn’t just release her. They needed to find an adult to pick her up, so Tallulah Belle called Bruce , where Demi ended up picking her up. I bet she wasn’t happy.
Tallulah has appeared in “The Scarlet Letter” and “The Whole Ten Yards,” and seems to be well on her way to the troubled path of many other child actors. Just kidding, all youngsters go through a partying stage, so hopefully hers is short-lived and doesn’t continue on into her twenties (A-la-Lohan.) Bruce and Demi seem like cool parents, so I’m sure Tallulah will get a good talking to and smarten up.
Wes Andersen has announced his new film, Moon Rise Kingdom. It is a comedy/dramedy of sorts set in the 1960s about two young lovers who run away together but are thought to be missing. According to deadline.com, Andersen has pulled some big names in for the project. Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, Frances McDormand, and Tilda Swinton, are set to star in the film.
Anderson has a knack for drawing out talented actors to star as quirky characters in his offbeat films. Bill Murray is a veteran star in Anderson’s films. Hopefully this one will be more like The Royal Tenenbaums, and less like the The Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Isn’t Bruce Willis getting a little too old for this?
According to New York Magazine, the Die Hard series is heading towards a fifth film in the action saga. As per always, Bruce Willis will strap on a gun and play the seemingly invincible John McClane in a fight against some new breed of international terrorist.
Skip Woods, the writer for films such as Swordfish and the A-Team movie, has been enlisted by FOX to write a script for the shoot-’em-up classic.
We’re guessing that the script will consist primarily of gun-shots, jumps from tall builings, and at least one “Yippee-Kay-Yay.” Let’s just hope that Willis doesn’t pull his back out.
Rumer Willis celebrated her 21st birthday Saturday at Tao in Las Vegas, reports Perez Hilton.
The eldest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore is currently filming episodes for a guest appearance on teen drama 90210. She can also be seen in the upcoming teen flick Sorority Row.
Perez Hilton reports Rumer Willis, the eldest of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s three daughters, will be appearing on the CW’s 90210 next season as Gia, a punky lesbian who works on the school newspaper.
Willis, 20, is only planned to guest-star in one episode of the hit series, but may be called back to continue the role if it’s successful.
In the past, she has guest-starred on Army Wives, CSI: New York, and Medium. Each appearance was just for one episode.
According to Entertainment Weekly, she will also appear in an episode of ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager, scheduled to air in mid-August.
Actor Bruce Willis has pronounced wedding vows for the second time.
According to perezhilton.com, Willis married Victoria’s Secret model Emma Heming in a ceremony at his Parrot Cay home on the Turks and Caicos islands in the Caribbean on March 21, 2009.
There is a 22-year age gap between the bride and groom – Willis is 54, Heming is 32. The couple reportedly met last year. While this is Willis’ second marriage, this is the first wedding for Heming.
Rumer Willis now has a title – other than “Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughter.”
Willis has been chosen as 2008′s Miss Golden Globe, a role given every year to the child of a celebrity. Her job will be to bring out the statuettes to the winners.
Jane Seymour, Susan Lucci, Clint Eastwood, Jack Nicholson, and Melanie Griffith have all previously lent out their daughters on awards night.
Willis is currently working on her own acting career, as well as appearing frequently in the tabloids.
BRUCE WILLIS has slammed the producers of his latest film release Perfect Strangers, insisting they’re responsible for the movie’s failure.
The Die Hard star admits he was disappointed with the final cut because he expected the thriller, which also starred Halle Berry, to be a lot grittier.
He tells website AintItCool.com, “Perfect Stranger was ruined by the producers. Oddly enough, that film was meant to be a hard R rating, but when all the things that were meant to be in it were cut, except for the ‘f**k’s', they got a PG-13 rating. Weird right?
“I was disappointed with that film… Everyone tried hard, worked hard, but it was not to be.”

Bruce Willis, seated courtside at last night’s Toronto Raptors-New Jersey Nets playoff game, provided better entertainment than the actual game.
During a break from the game in Jersey, a reporter from TSN, the Canadian broadcaster, interviewed Willis.
The reporter ended the interview by paraphrasing Willis’s famous line from Die Hard.
“Yippee Kiyay, thanks for this,” he said.
Willis, on live TV, then replied with the actual line, “Yippee Kiyay motherf****r.”
And that’s why we love Bruce Willis.
Hollywood hardman BRUCE WILLIS has settled a lawsuit against a childhood friend who allegedly tried to extort $100,000 from the actor.
The DIE HARD star filed a lawsuit last year against BRUCE DiMATTIA, claiming he “was overcome by greed and jealous of his former friend’s success” and threatened to disclose personal information about the star unless Willis bought him a car and paid him $100,000.
However, the action star has reached a settlement with DiMattia and their dispute has been “amicably resolved.”
Willis’ publicist PAUL BLOCH says, “The filing of the lawsuit by Bruce Willis against Bruce DiMattia was based on a regrettable misunderstanding and was based on misinformation.
“Bruce Willis wishes Bruce DiMattia the best of luck in the future and Bruce DiMattia wishes him the same.”

BRUCE WILLIS has become the latest star nursing cuts and bruises after getting injured on a Los Angeles film set.
The actor was kicked in the forehead during a fight scene in his new DIE HARD movie on Wednesday, and was briefly hospitalised.
His on-set accident came hours before NICOLE KIDMAN was left shaken up when she was involved in a car crash on the Downtown Los Angeles set of her new zombie film THE INVASION.
Like Kidman, Willis was checked over by a doctor, and then discharged.
According to insiders, he was left with a gash above his right eye.
Willis was back on the set of LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD yesterday morning.

Bruce Willis demanded that bar staff go on a late night hunt for root beer so he could enjoy his favourite drink at a New York nightclub.
The “Die Hard” star – rumoured to be dating Renee Zellweger – ordered root beer and bourbon from hip nightspot Cielo and was furious when he was told
they didn’t serve it.
A source told BANG Showbiz: “We have hardly ever had anyone order root beer here but Bruce Willis had us running round the block to a deli in the middle
of the night to buy some so he could have a root beer and bourbon cocktail.”
Bruce was recently seen enjoying a cosy meal with ‘Bridget Jones’ star Renée Zellweger at Los Angeles restaurant Cut.
A source said: “They seemed really into each other. Renée definitely left with Bruce.”
Bruce Willis is suing a friend from his childhood for extortion, the Associated Press says.
The lawsuit was filed when Bruce DiMattia threatened to reveal private photos of Willis unless he was given $100,000. It states that DiMattia was “overcome with greed (and) was jealous of his former friend’s success.”
The lawsuit also stated the DiMattia not only worked for Willis from 2002-2006, but also lived in a house rent-free paid for by Willis. His job was to organize photos and videos of Willis’ family and to take care of the actor’s personal memorabilia.
DiMattia was terminated earlier this year, but he refused to leave the house.
Willis is looking for $1 million to be paid for damages.
