Although Brooke Hogan previously claimed that her father Hulk Hogan abused her mother, the 20-year-old now says that she made false allegations, reports People magazine.

“I did it under significant pressure from my mother,” Hogan tells the entertainment magazine. “It was only after I learned all the facts that I realized I made a big mistake in signing it.”

Hogan released the apology after a tabloid reported that she had signed a legal affidavit accusing her father of verbally and physically abusing wife Linda during their marriage.

Brooke is now living with her father and is not on speaking terms with her mother.

“I love my mother, and hope to one day reconcile with her,” Brooke says. “But using kids as pawns in a divorce is awful. Every day my mother resorts to this kind of behaviour makes it that much harder for us to ever have a relationship again.”

Brooke Hogan, whose claim to fame is being the daughter of washed up wrestler Hulk Hogan, has recently bashed Jessica Simpson for being fake.

The irony is delicious. Brooke, a silly blonde who co-stars on the reality show “Hogan Knows Best” with her family, apparently thinks Jessica, also blonde and best known for her reality show “Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica”, should listen up.

“A lot of people think that celebrities are fake and a couple of them are,” Brooke told the NY Daily News. “Like that one who just went though a major breakup.”

Are you talking about Jessica Simpson, Brooke? You almost had us there.

“I didn’t hit it off with her,” Brooke revealed. “And then there’s her sister [Ashlee Simpson]. Ugh. They’re both fake.”

Brooke is quite fond of Jessica’s ex-husband Nick Lachey, though.

“I would have to say Nick Lachey [is the hottest guy in Hollywood]. Not just because of his looks. He’s got a beautiful heart, and he’s so genuine,” she said.
