Brooke Burke to Host Dancing with the Stars

Season seven Dancing with the Stars winner, Brooke Burke, will be taking over Samantha Harris’s role as Tom Bergeron’s co-host on the celebrity dancing show, reports E! News. The 38-year-old former Wild On! hostess will be responsible for interviewing contestants backstage.

“She cleans up nice,” Bergeron said. “She’ll be able to talk to the couples backstage with the perspective of having been through it herself.”

Season ten of Dancing with the Stars begins March 22 on ABC.

Rock Star Host Brooke Burke Engaged & Expecting

Brooke Burke and David Charvet are engaged and expecting their first child.

Charvet, 34, proposed to Burke, 34, during a party he threw Saturday night. He pulled out an eternity band engagement ring, which signified “it’s forever,” said Burke, reports People.

“It was a total surprise. It was all very romantic. He’s my best friend,” said Burke.

Adding to the engagement is the news of her pregnancy. Burke confirmed her pregnancy to Tommy Lee who reported the good news in a recent radio interview.

Burke and Charvet have known each other for years but only recently started dating when Burke split from her ex-husband and started to host Rock Star: INXS.

Burke was married to plastic surgeon Garth Fisher. They share two children, Neriah, 6, and Sierra, 4.

Burke was the host of E!’s Wild On! before hosting Rock Star. She also made a few television appearances on such shows as Las Vegas.

Charvet is famous for his roles on the hit shows Baywatch and Melrose Place.

The former host of E!’s “Wild On” series, Brooke Burke, and plastic surgeon Garth Fisher have decided to split up.

Burke, 33, announced the divorce in a joint statement issued to People Magazine. The statement says, ?We are saddened to announce that we have mutually decided to separate after seven years together. Although our careers have taken us in different directions the past few years, we have a great deal of respect for one another and remain committed to raising our two children together.”

The couple, who are living apart but remain good friends, married in 2001 and have two children, Sierra Sky, 3, and Neriah, 5.

Burke is currently co-hosting the show ‘Rock Star: Inxs’ with musician Dave Navarro, while Fisher was one of the plastic surgeons on ‘Extreme Makeover.’
