Mysterious Lady Visits the DeGeneres House!

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi were shocked to discover a trespasser on their property this weekend.

Radar Online is reporting that the female was caught by the property’s 24-hour state-of-the-art security system before she could reach either property on the two-house compound. Beverly Hills police officers were dispatched to the scene and the woman was detained. Her motivation and her identity have not yet been released.

Ellen’s rep made it clear that the woman did not make contact with anyone on the property.

Security has been high at the DeGeneres-de Rossi house ever since Ellen purchased it in 2007. The star put $29 million into one mansion before purchasing the neighboring property for $8.5 million.

Armed Man Arrested Outside Paris Hilton’s House

Paris Hilton has tweeted that an armed man tried to break into her house early Tuesday morning.

“So Scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes. Cops are here arresting him,” she tweeted.

She also posted a picture of police handcuffing the man in her courtyard. No further details are available at this time.

Trial Begins Involving Sarah Jessica Parker’s Surrogate

Sex and the City Star Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick will not be present for the trial of Martins Ferry Police Chief Barry Carpenter, reports E! News. Carpenter is facing multiple felonies including burglary and receiving stolen property for allegedly orchestrating a break-in at the Ohio home of the woman carrying Parker and Broderick’s twins.

Jury selection began Monday. Reportedly, only one of the 70 potential jurors in attendance claimed not to be aware of the case.

Bridgeport Sheriff Chad Dojack will stand trial Jan. 12 on similar charges in connection with the incident, while Bruce Callarik will be booked on a lesser charge of receiving stolen property.

All three men have pleaded not guilty and could face jail time if convicted.

A publicist for Parker and Broderick issued a statement saying, “Matthew and Sarah Jessica have complete faith in the legal system.”

A trial date has been set for the two Ohio police chiefs accused of planning a break-in at the home of Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick’s surrogate mother. The crime happened in June just before the woman gave birth to the couple’s twin daughters, reports E! News.

Chief Barry Carpenter of Martins Ferry will be tried Nov. 16 and Chad Dojack, chief of the Bridgeport Police Department’s trial is scheduled for Jan. 12. Each faces a number of charges including allegedly breaking into a residence to collect information on Parker and Broderick with the intention of selling it to the tabloids. Carpenter faces a total of 21 years in jail, while Dojack could go away for 14 years if convicted of all charges.

A third man, Bruce Callarik, son of the mayor of Bridgeport, is also being charged in connection to the case for complicity to receiving stolen property. His trial has not yet been scheduled.

All three men have pleaded not guilty.
