Chelsea Handler Rants about Brangelina; Remains Trapped in the Year 2005

Comedienne Chelsea Handler slammed Angelina Jolie in her show in New Jersey this Friday night, reports Pop Eater.

Handler, who’s become a recent bestie of Brad’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, railed against Angie’s husband-stealing ways, calling her a “homewrecker” and a “f**king c**t.” A source close to Handler explains, stating “Chelsea hates Angelina and doesn’t for one second buy that she is this good person rescuing children in need around the World.”

Handler launched into her anti-Angie rant when a heckler in the audience distracted her from her material. Handler talked down the heckler but things took a sharp right turn straight into Angelina Jolie country.

Wow Chelsea! Digging up celebrity news from 2005 that is definitely none of your business. You sure are one class act!

Rant ‘N Rave: Brad Pitt

Now this rant isn’t about Brad Pitt as an actor because, I’ll admit, I’m quite a big fan of both his performances and his movie career choices.

But it’s his personal life that I’m not the biggest fan of whatsoever.

He’s like the forbidden fruit – the apple that most women around the world would love to sink their teeth into. Just ask Angelina Jolie or, years before, Jennifer Aniston. (Yes, I just mentioned those two in a sentence without picking one over the other. It’s possible you know).

Yet as people continue to argue that Angelina is a home-wrecker (because she partially is) and that Jennifer makes shitty movies (because, for the most part, she does) I’ve always wondered why no one bothered to look at the real problem here.

You know the problem that connects these women’s troubles in a way that most people do not realize. Or at least they choose to not remember.

The problem goes by the name Brad Pitt.

Are we going to forget that he was the one that was married during this whole affair ordeal? Sure, Angelina should’ve known better than to get involved with a married man (please, don’t argue that they did not “hook up” until after Aniston and Pitt divorced because whether they had sex or not prior to the breakup, they were emotionally involved. And emotional cheating is still that…cheating), Brad was the one with the wedding band around his finger. Not Angelina.

Yet where is his share of the blame?

On the one side, people blog that Angelina is quite the harlot for ruining the Aniston-Pitt marriage. I wouldn’t use that word exactly but I wouldn’t refer to her as “Santa Angelina” (cough, Perez Hilton) either. However, Angelina tries her best to move forward and not look back at her past mistakes. She has yet to wear a vile of Jennifer’s blood around her neck and, for that reason alone, I choose to still like her.

Now for Aniston.

Yes she tends to make bad movies (except for ‘The Good Girl’) and she dates jerk bags (John Mayer anyone?) but it’s hard to move on from your past lover when his face, alongside his new bed mate’s, is smeared across the news 24/7. Really. You try get passed that. I give her kudos for doing her best to put her foot forward one step at a time with a smile on her face. And I give her credit for praising her ex in public while simultaneously refraining from some hardcore Angelina bashing. That takes strength.

But then again, so does dating Mayer.

So why is it that no one really criticizes Brad? He is, to some extent, solely responsible for ruining both of Angelina’s and Jennifer’s lowered image. Prior to Brad, people didn’t have to choose between Angelina or Jennifer. And, as you may have also noticed, both women lived somewhat more respectable lives.

Angelina was known as a strong and successful actress who, on an odd occasion, made out with her brother in public. But she seemed stable and she didn’t need a man to make her happy.

Now half the world hates her.

Jennifer was a confident woman who was loved for her cute and quirky roles. We loved her as Rachel on ‘F-r-i-e-n-d-s’ and, before, she could do no wrong.

Now the other half of the world hates her.

And yet Brad walks away with what sort of damaged image? Not one really. Which is why, one day, I secretly look forward to the headline:

“Angelina leaves Brad. Takes their 12 children and moves in with Jennifer.”

Cheers to that.

Rant N Rave: The Oscars

Hollywood’s biggest award show is over for another year. Done. Kaput. No more bets on who will win and who will lose (although if I actually gambled on who would take home an Oscar, I would be a bit richer today). And while last night’s winners polish their statues and the losers polish off another bottle of Skinny Wine, I am giving kudos to one of the best Academy Awards show in years.

Here’s why last night Oscars rocked:

The host:

Hugh Jackman. He’s sexy, charming and helped made the usual dull Oscars entertaining. His musical montage of the year’s celebrated films –along this poorly made props (thank you recession)– and duet with Anne Hathaway rocked. He made the celebrities laugh—which makes him an automatic hit. He better be back next year.

The guests:

Brangelina–While most people were waiting for Angie and Brad to make their way down the red carpet—I couldn’t care less. Although both extremely talented and stunning—they are overrated. Besides, is it me or does Angelina have a permanent cold look to her? Girl needs to smile more often. Take some cues from Aniston. Yeah, I said it.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens—Sure I wondered why these two were even at the Oscars alongside another Disney star but soon-to-be harlot (Miley, I’m looking at you), it’s hard to keep your eyes off these two. They are young and beautiful and gorgeous.

Slumdog Millionaire (Young) Cast: This movie would’ve not been as powerful without all the young Latikas and Jamals. They made the movie and deserved a night away from the slums. Literally.

The Winners:

Kate Winslet: Come on children, let’s all say it together: “It’s about time!” Although I do not think Winslet’s role in “The Reader” was her best to date, she did get snubbed for her other Oscar worthy win performances—i.e. The Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind and Little Children. She is one of the best of her generation. Now if the Academy only acknowledged Leonardo DiCaprio—I would be a happy gal.

Heath Ledger: By far, the late Ledger deserved the Best Supporting Actor win for his role as The Joker. He was genius, incredible and mind-blowing. A talent like his deserved to be recognized—even in a bittersweet moment. Besides, who did not get tears in their eyes after his family’s acceptance speech?

WALLE: Yes, you read that correctly. My obsession from Happy Feet to WALLE was easier than I thought it would be. Who knew true emotion and love took place between robots and machines?

Sean Penn: YAY! Finally Slumdog Millionaire DID not win an award. Oh wait, no one was nominated from that movie in this category. But seriously, Penn’s performance in Milk is outstanding. This actor can do no wrong. I’m mesmerized by all his roles.

Slumdog Millionaire: Sure The Dark Knight deserved a Best Picture nomination but this rags-to-riches love story was lovely. Even if it didn’t deserve all the awards it took home, it was nice for a movie of this genre to get some credit.

The Losers:

Brangelina: Thankfully neither won an award. Even though I will contradict myself here and say that I think Angelina’s performance in The Changeling was emotional—she already won Pitt from Aniston. Isn’t that enough woman?

Paparazzi Arrested Outside Château Brangelina

Two shutterbugs were taken into police custody after getting into a dispute with guards outside the Jolie-Pitt’s home in southern France.

According to E! News, the paps were so determined to get photos of Brangelina and the new twins Knox and Vivienne, that they snuck onto the property in camouflage suits and, once found by two guards, got into an altercation.

“We caught the two and tried to escort them off the property and the guy’s just gone berserk, thrashing out, kicking and actually biting one of the security people, breaking his finger, drawing blood and screaming that he had hepatitis C,” Tony Webb, head of the Jolie-Pitt guard squad, told press.

Paparazzo Luc Goursolas claims the guards punched and kicked him, requiring three stitches in his head. Goursolas also denies that he claimed he had hepatitis C, insisting instead that HIV was his fictional disease of choice.

“I was pouring blood. I threw myself at them, put blood all over them, and told them that I had HIV so they would stop hitting me.”

Brangelina Checks Out of Hospital

Angelina Jolie and her one week old twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline left the Lenval hospital in Nice, France, early Saturday, reports E! News.

“Angelina left at 4 a.m. in a blacked-out ambulance,” a source tells the entertainment website. “And she’s now back at Château Miraval with Brad, the kids, her brother, James Haven, and Bill and Jane Pitt, Brad’s mom and dad.”

The new mom was hoping to leave the hospital via a helicopter from the roof, but the hospital only allows helicopter access on the roof in the event of a medical emergency, reports the source.

“Angelina and her security decided that if she left in the middle of the night, then there would be less risk of them being followed by a huge group of paparazzi on motorbikes,” the source said. “It was for her and the twins’ safety.”

Early Saturday morning, the hospital issued the following statement on their website:

“Mrs. Angelina Jolie left the clinic Santa Maria of Fondation Lenval early in the morning, on July 19,” the message said. “The mother and her babies are doing very well.”

Angelina Jolie Gives Birth to Twins

The arrival of the world’s most anticipated twins is finally here.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt welcomed a son and a daughter Saturday evening, reports E! News.

Twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline arrived via Cesarian section sometime before 10.p.m, announced Jolie’s obstetrician Dr. Michel Sussmann.

Sussmann told the Associated Press that mother and babies “are doing marvellously well.” Jolie was scheduled to have the C-section this Tuesday but the procedure was pushed up “for medical reasons,” stated Sussmann.

The birth of the twins has increased the Jolie-Pitt brood to six children; however the countdown for baby No. 7 is already beginning for many Brangelina-obsessed fans.

Pregnant Angelina Photos Are Fake, Says Hospital

According to MSN.com, a hospital spokesperson in Nice, France says that photos that have surfaced of a pregnant Angelina Jolie in her hospital room are fakes because Jolie’s windows are blacked out for privacy.

“It is impossible to see into Mr. Brad Pitt and Ms. Angelina Jolie’s room. Any pictures released are either posed fakes set up by paparazzi or they are pictures of other patients,” said hospital spokeswoman Nadine Bauer.

Jolie is in Nice for the birth of her fifth child with actor, Brad Pitt. The couple already have one child together and three adopted children.

The couple have allegedly been offered as much as $16.1 million dollars for the first photographs of their baby.

Birth of Jolie Twins May Be Weeks Away

It seems the world will have to wait a bit longer for the arrival of the Jolie-Pitt twins.

According to gossip columnist Perez Hilton, Jolie’s doctor, Michel Sussmann, says Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s twins will likely be delivered “in the weeks to come.”

Jolie arrived at the Santa Maria clinic on the seafront Promenade des Anglais in Nice Sunday, but according to Sussmann, it was all part of the procedure and the stunning actress is doing “perfectly fine.”

“Her hospitalisation at this stage of her pregnancy is strictly normal for someone who underwent a caesarean in her first pregnancy,” Sussmann told reporters, adding that he could not give a more precise date for the birth.

The birth of the twins will bring the entire Jolie-Pitt brood to six.

Brad and Angelina Splurge and Buy Estate in France

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have just given their children a lot more room to play.

The couple, who are expecting twins this August, have spent a whopping $60 million on a massive 1,000-acre estate in the south of France.

“It’s called Chateau Miraval in a village called Brignol, which is near from Aix-en-Provence,” a source tells E! News. “Brad and Angelina are thrilled, they love the place and have already been furniture shopping to fill the place as it’s massive. They’ve already spent almost another million on furniture and the whole family can’t wait to move in.”

The pre-Roman estate is said to include 35 bedrooms, a vineyard, lake, forest and moat. But that’s not all. The Jolie-Pitt home also includes a swimming pool, billiards room, his-and-hers gyms, sauna and jacuzzi and a huge banquet hall.

Brangelina is expected to move into the new home within the next three months. Neighbours and residents in the area include Johnny Depp and U2 frontman Bono.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Partner for HBO

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are getting into bed together as co-producers of a new HBO project.

The socially-conscious couple are perfect for the untitled series, which will portray workers for an international aid organization and the dangers they encounter.

The drama will be written by Scott Burns, who co-wrote “The Bourne Ultimatum” and co-produced “An Inconvenient Truth.”

Jolie is currently filming “The Changeling” with Clint Eastwood, while Pitt is on daddy duty with their four children.

Well, the world’s most anticipated birth has finally happened.

Despite rumours that Angelina Jolie would be giving birth via C-Section on June 3, Jolie and her boyfriend, Brad Pitt, welcomed their first child today, Reuters reports.

Jolie’s spokesperson confirmed the baby was a girl and Reuters reports the baby’s name is Shiloh Nouvel Jolie Pitt. Jolie gave birth to the baby in Namibia, Africa.

The couple has been stuck in the media’s glare ever since Pitt separated from his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, and rumours that Jolie and Pitt were involved before his separation from Aniston began to surface. The press gave the couple the name Brangelina.

Ever since they went public as a couple, they could not escape the media spotlight.

The pair went to Africa earlier this month, where many assumed Jolie would give birth.
