Brad Pitt Angry Over Vanity Fair Cover
It may make women salivate, but Brad Pitt says the cover photo of him on Vanity Fair is unfair and he is considering pursuing legal action.
E! News reports that the cover shot of Pitt – wet and in his underwear – was an unauthorized photo that the magazine used without Pitt’s permission.
Pitt says the cover picture is a still photo from a video shoot he did in 2005, which he never allowed to be in print.
“We are very disappointed that Vanity Fair has chosen to put an unauthorized cover on their magazine. It seriously makes me question their integrity and motives,” Pitt’s publicist told E! News.
Vanity Fair issued its own statement saying: “Brad Pitt posed for a Robert Wilson video portrait and, in the photo release (signed by Pitt), agreed to allow Wilson to use the portrait or any images from that sitting in connection with any publicity on Wilson’s video project.”
