Lady Gaga wants to do movies, according to MTV News.

Now, you would think Hollywood right? Wrong! Mother monster wants to do Bollywood films.

The singer revealed that if she was offered to do a song and dance number in Bollywood, she wouldn’t say no.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Gaga said ” I have seen a few Bollywood films and I love how theatrical they are, and that’s my favorite part – that they are so surreal and full of fantasy.”

Shocked? I’m not. If there is anyone who can pull off a “surreal and full of fantasy” dance number, it’s Gaga.

Lady Gaga has done it again. From pop to country, the megastar has now released a Bollywood version of her hit single ‘Born This Way.’

The new Bollywood remix follows her country themed remix, allowing Gaga to acknowledge her global fan base.

“I worked with some Indian Producers on “BORN THIS WAY” to show all the little monsters in India that I appreciate you!” Gaga tweeted.

Gaga is exploring different genres and is apparently attempting to increase her audience with remixes of her lead single off her highly anticipated May 23 ‘Born This Way’ album release.

Well, it certainly is a fresh way to gain the interest of fans!

‘Slumdog Millionaire’ Actor Joins ’24′

Bollywood star Anil Kapoor is making the leap to North American television.

The actor, who gained worldwide recognition as the game show host in last year’s Oscar-winning film “Slumdog Millionaire,” has joined the cast of Fox’s “24″ for its upcoming eighth season.

As a series regular, Kapoor will play a Middle Eastern leader who comes to the U.S. on a peacemaking mission. The role is the actor’s first American TV gig.

Season 7 of ’24,’ which stars Kiefer Sutherland as counterterrorism agent Jack Bauer, concludes on May 8 with a two-hour finale. Season 8 will premiere in early 2010.

“Slumdog Millionare” was the big winner at this year’s Academy Awards, scoring eight wins including best picture and best director. Although Kapoor earned North American recognition for his role, he is already a well-known figure in his native India, where he has appeared in more than 100 films over 25 years.

Bollywood Gets a Superhero

The world of Bollywood is ready to be saved. After decades of watching American superheroes like Batman and Spiderman save the day, India is finally getting its first homegrown hero — Krrish.

Reuters reports that “Krrish,” set to open in theatres across India on Friday, is a sequel to the 2003 blockbuster “Koi…Mil Gaya.”

Considered Bollywood’s first major science fiction film, the movie followed the character Rohit as he saves an E.T.-like alien that comes to earth and is transformed into a powerful hero in return.

“Krrish” picks up the story of Rohit’s son, Krishna, who is born with all of his father’s superpowers and more. As well, in the tradition of Bollywood films, Krrish is a mighty fine dancer and singer.

“I have made Krrish from my heart because I know he is one superhero who is going to find a permanent place in your hearts,” said Rakesh Roshan, the film’s director and father of its star, Hrithik Roshan.
