Russel Brand was in the news recently for allegedly attacking a papparazo in LAX and his dislike of the cameras has seemingly followed him to India’s Ranthambhore National Park, reports E! Online.

Brand and his soon-to-be wife Katy Perry were in a jeep checking out the wildlife in the park, including the tigers, and were being followed by a vehicle carrying photographers representing the Associated Press, Reuters, and a couple of other publications.

The details are slim, but Brand’s bodyguards allegedly attacked the jeep full of photogs, stealing their car keys, which would have effectively left them for dead in a tiger sanctuary.

According to one of the photographers, Mustafa Quraishi, Brand just sat and watched.  According to Quraishi, he was punched by one of the bodyguards several times while attempting to get their car keys back, and when his fellow cameramen came to his aid, the bodyguards beat them up too.

Luckily, park rangers eventually came and got the car keys back for the photographers.

As of now, there is no word on the legal implications for those involved.
