Mitch Winehouse is saying that Amy’s ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil was “scared” of him and the Winehouse family.
He told RTE’s Late Late Show: “He [Blake] was scared of me and the family, he wanted to keep control. The first time I met him he was charming and the next time not so charming.
“He spoke about how he introduced her to drugs and said she took to it like a duck to water. A nice thing to say about his wife.
“I got the news in New York and it was like an icy cold calm came over me. In my mind was the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
“We have good days we have bad days. It comes in waves.
“I can look at photos of Amy’s but I find it difficult to listen to the music, that’s the grieving process.
“If you have a day when you don’t cry is a good day. Today is not a good day.”
Mitch also says that Amy was becoming tired of performing towards the end of her life.
He said: “Certain things she was uncomfortable with. She was kind of moving away from the stage work, she did not enjoy it all actually.”
In a recent interview, Mitch Winehouse blames Amy’s ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil for her drug addiction. Mitch claims it was Blake who introduced Amy to hard drugs like heroine.
While talking to Anderson Cooper, Mitch explains however he doesn’t blame Amy’s death on Blake. Blake is also serving time in prison for a burglary and firearm offense. Nevertheless, Mitch is adamant Amy’s life starting getting out of control when Blake hit the scene.
We’re guessing that there will be an open bar.
Amy Winehouse has just announced that she will re-marry her ex-husband, former video production assistant Blake Fielder-Civil.
MSN online has reported that the couple wishes to exchange vows for the second time. The two originally split last July due to Winehouse’s alcohol reliance, drug addiction and numerous sexual affairs.
Amy Winehouse’s soon-to-be ex-husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, claims the singer called him and begged he take her back, reports Perez Hilton.
“We’ve been talking for the first time in months,” said Fielder-Civil. “I love her as much as ever. I know she still loves me, even though we’re getting divorced. Maybe this time we can do everything property and not mess it up.”
Fielder-Civil claims he and his estranged wife are both “adults… and clean now,” although he is currently still in rehab.
After a rocky relationship complete with arrests, accusations of drug abuse and public disputes, singer Amy Winehouse has officially split from Blake Fielder-Civil.
According to The Associated Press, neither Winehouse nor Fielder-Civil were present at the family Court hearing where a judge granted the divorce petition. After six weeks and a day the divorce of Winehouse, 25, and Fielder-Civil, 27, becomes final.
The British couple met at a bar in London, England, back in 2005. They wed at a simple ceremony in Miami in 2007, but spent most of their seemingly-troubled married life apart after Fielder-Civil was arrested on an assault charge that sent him to jail.
The Singer’s father, Mitch Winehouse, has constantly accused Fielder-Civil — a music video production assistant — of introducing his daughter to heavy drugs.
The couple’s troubled relationship spawned numerous tabloid headlines around the world.
Blake Fielder-Civil, singer Amy Winehouse’s husband, was ordered back to prison for violating the terms of his release according to E! Online.
Fielder-Civil, 26, had agreed to check into rehab right away and spend a month receiving treatment for his drug addiction as part of his early release deal.
Britain’s Sun newspaper reported Fielder-Civil is being sent back to prison after refusing a drug test, meaning he will have to serve the rest of his 27-month sentence for assaulting a barkeep and attempting to pervert the course of justice. Winehouse’s hubby would therefore be in prison until early 2010.
Meanwhile, Winehouse remains in a London hospital since November 23. The Grammy-winning singer is recovering from an allergic reaction to her medication.
It has been widely reported that Winehouse has consulted with divorce attorneys, but the singer’s rep has denied she is seeking to end her marriage with Fielder-Civil.
Singer Amy Winehouse’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, was released today, November 5, after serving 12 months of his 27-month sentence from Britain’s Edmunds Hill Prison.
Blake Fielder-Civil was sentenced for causing grievous bodily harm and obstruction of sentence. Supposedly, Fielder-Civil assaulted a pub owner and attempted to pay off a witness.
According to E! Online, Winehouse was not present at her husband’s release from prison. It is unclear if the Grammy Award Winning singer was unable to greet her husband because she was in her London home, after a previous trip to the hospital, or if she was still receiving treatment for a chest infection.
According to reports, Winehouse’s husband was taken directly to a rehab centre from the prison.
Amy Winehouse has been caught on video taking illegal drugs again.
News of the World has the exclusive video, allegedly taken in a night club last month. Winehouse can be seen snorting something off of a CD case.
Winehouse’s mother in law, Georgette, has called for Amy to be put in prison after viewing the footage.
“I’m shocked by the video,” Georgette said. “When I look at Amy I think: ‘For Christ’s sake, just get a grip of yourself. Enough is enough. As the police know Amy is a drug addict – and she has now been caught twice on film taking illegal drugs – they should arrest her and put her behind bars. Rehab clinics are a waste of money, unless you want them to work. Amy doesn’t want to give up drugs, so shes got to learn the hard way in prison. Police have to act. She is making a mockery of the law. It has got to stop. The price Amy has got to pay is losing her freedom.”
Winehouse’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is currently incarcerated.
Amy Winehouse has been a ticking time bomb for a long time, and her lifestyle may have finally exploded in her face.
A video of the tiny singer smoking crack, as well as doing other drugs and wandering around her squalid home has leaked to the UK Sun tabloid.
Part of the video is available on the Sun’s web site. It shows Winehouse struggling to understand a phone conversation with a friend who is asking to be let into the house. Winehouse then tries to locate her kitten, accusing her guests of moving the cat while another guest warns the barefoot Brit that there’s glass on the floor.
Winehouse then refuses to go out with her friends, saying she must be up early and that she’d be “useless to you because I’ve had about six Valium.” She proceeds to take several deep tokes from a crack pipe.
Earlier in the video acquired by the tabloid, Winehouse reportedly snorts a large clump of powdered ecstasy and cocaine.
Winehouse’s behaviour has become more and more worrisome since her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, went to jail for perverting justice and assault. She has recently cut and bleached her trademark hair, and went on vacation with an ex-boyfriend.
She claimed that the trip was an attempt to get clean.
There’s a lot of things she could conceal in that hair.
Amy Winehouse’s incarcerated husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, was found to have a class A drug in his blood last week, rumoured to be heroin. He has been in jail since November. The UK Sun newspaper reports that due to this incident, Winehouse had some of her visitation rights taken away, and now can only speak to him through a bullet-proof glass screen. Fielder-Civil was also stripped of some privileges and relocated to the jail’s “sex perverts wing.”
Winehouse has reportedly avoided visiting Fielder-Civil since he failed his drug test. A source told The Sun, “She’s paranoid and shaking every time she goes there and has decided to give it a miss for a while.”
This development does not bode well for Winehouse’s well-being. Even before she was relegated to hands-off visits, she was so distraught about being separated from her husband that she cancelled the rest of her 2007 tour dates.
Rumours of Amy Winehouse abusing substances have been rampant, but it seems her dependency on her husband is her biggest problem.
Winehouse has canceled all of her remaining tour dates and scheduled appearances of 2007 because she can’t bear to perform while her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is in jail.
“I can’t give it my all on stage without my Blake,” Winehouse said in a statement released today. “I’m so sorry but I don’t want to do the shows half-heartedly; I love singing. My husband is everything to me and without him it’s just not the same.”
Fielder-Civil is in jail under suspicion of perverting the justice system. Police suspect that he paid a key witness in a case to refuse to give evidence.
