Fanfiction, manips, and concocted ideas that certain actors are meant to be together currently reign over Tumblr and other social media outlets.
You write it, and the actors know it. Their publicist or they themselves, are interest in what the people on saying about them on the interwebs and of course, find all this stuff you create. Yes, they know what gifs are.
You can be rest assured that the Warblers’ Riker Lynch frequently sends Glee star Darren Criss all those memes and gifs you make of him and Chris Colfer. Also, Kevin Mchale is trolling all of your tags.
If you are prepping for a red alert and taking down everything you have ever blogged or tweeted about, hold on. Some stars actually find fan fiction, manips, and everything in between flattering. They don’t always read it, but they know its out there, and they know what your fantasies are.

Writers like J.K. Rowling encourage fan fiction because it is an outlet for creavity and a chance for fans to write about other possible scenarios for their favourite shows, films or books. I have heard of and read brilliant fanfictions that have rewritten the ending to the Harry Potter series. I can say I find that creative and interesting.
Other times however, these stories are exploitative and pretty raunchy. Okay, I’ll say it, it’s smutty. Sometimes people like to advertise these stories to the actors that play the characters they write about. Other times, these stories are about actors themselves, who oftentimes are not even together. This is where I see a dilemma. Write what you wish because it is in good fun and within the fandom, but respect the actors integrity. I will brace myself for some angry fans.
Celebrities for the most part understand fan fiction is all in good fun, and many joke about it in award speeches, interviews, and on Twitter. The celebrities who do this are truly class acts.
What do you think about Fan Fiction? Can it be tasteful, or is it weird?

Cory Monteith on Finchel
At the 1:00 mark
Finchel fans, shut down EVERYTHING. Or not. Y’all are a pretty tame bunch so I’m sure it’s not too bad. Haven’t heard about really hard core fics from that part of the fandom. We must award Monteith an A+ for using fanfiction to relate to your fans. Stardom. You’re doing it right.

John Green and Chris Colfer on…themselves?
At the 0:48 mark
Slightly scarred to death by the notion of John Green and Chris Colfer in a fanfic together. So strange. I’d rather not read dirty stories in which two of my heroes do dirty things. I will now spend the next 24 hours trying to cleanse my brain. However, I feel like a piece of fanfiction written by Chris Colfer would be sad, have multiple plot arcs, and a very tasteful love story. I would read it.

Benedict Cumberbatch on JohnLock Read more…
Now that Oscar season is over, movie fans can all get ready for the summer of blockbusters.
Set to release on May 17, the film directed by J.J. Adams follows Captain Kirk as he leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a man with mass destruction on the mind.
While recent trailers have focused on Benedict Cumberbatch’s villanous role, this new trailer follows Chris Pine’s Kirk as he goes through plenty of explosions chases and one giant fish.
Who’s pumped?!
I have to admit here that when I saw Cumberbatch on the screen, my heart did something quite unnatural.
Don’t get me wrong, I love American and Canadian TV. Degrassi is a Canadian treasure and I’m a complete mess if I don’t catch Glee, Scandal, or Shameless. Because there is a lot of good TV out there, people don’t realize what they are missing, more specially, what great British television they’re missing out on. British TV is funny, witty, crude, and uncensored. Also, those accents just make the show that much more eventful.
The best British shows that film on location in England. Downton Abbey actually films on a large estate. True fact. In addition, so many of these British shows feature actors we love before they were even on our radar. For example, Carrie Mulligan was in the Doctor Who episode “Blink” before she was an A-lister and Andrew Garfield, better known these days as Spider-Man, was in the two-part “Daleks in Manhattan” episode. When you watch British televison you will also realize that shows like to trade actors. For example, everyone on Merlin has made an appearance on Doctor Who.
British television is highly underrated, and not enough people have been graced with it’s perfection. The stars are all beautiful (go Google Benedict Cumberbatch, Matt Smith, Bradley James, Colin Morgan, or Rob James-Collier ). So just in case the British history, realistic and uncensored nature don’t have you tuning in, the eye candy should.
Or, how about the fact respected actors love BBC too?
I can proudly say I am so obsessed with British television that I’ll probably develop an accent before the third season of Sherlock is aired.
1) Sherlock

Created by Stephen Moffat and Mark Gatis, Sherlock is the modern retelling of Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes tales. Yes, I know. No sh*t, Sherlock.
In this adaptation of the well known series, Sherlock Holmes, who claims to be “a functioning sociopath, knows one thing and that’s deduction. His brilliance is mind boggling, and you will love how the show is edited together as text messages are shown on screen and the visual construction of Sherlock’s deduction process. Bonus point: Benedict Cumberbatch is tall, dark and sexy in this BBC show.

Warning: you will fall in love with him. His delivery as Sherlock is perfect, he truly comes off as a mad man.
The show has had 2 seasons, each with 3 episodes that are an hour and a half long each. They act as mini movies almost. Filming for season 3 had been postponed as Cumberbatch has become a highly-sought after actor, having recently worked Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Star Trek and The Hobbit. Sherlock’s Watson, Martin Freeman, can be found in the rom-com staple, Love Actually, and most recently as Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit. Due to both of the actors involvement in The Hobbit, they will not start filming season 3 until 2014. It’s hard being a BBC junkie sometimes. No, correct that. All the time.

As fans of site, we have to admit that Tumblr is indeed a really weird place. It’s like fans of just about any community — be it cats, One Direction, Doctor Who, pr0n—naturally gravitate to to the site. We can blog or reblog for days just about anything and everything. Is it cute? Reblog? Funny? Reblog. Social activism in blog form? Reblog.
But just in case you’re still clueless as to the oddity that happens on Tumblr, College Humor basically hit it on the head with this diddy. Watch as your Tumblr dashboard gets animated and sings just about everything that happens on Tumblr.
Last nights commercials in between the Super Bowl were plentiful, but this one is our favourite for one specific reason – Benedict Cumberbatch. This trailer gives us a better look at Cumberbatch’s villain, and his psychotic ways. Definitely has a Sherlock air to it. If it wasn’t time before to get excited, it’s definitely time now.
“You think your word is safe, but it’s not.”
I can already see the intensity of this role, and I could not be more excited. Words do not express what it will be like to see Cumberbatch with Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto on the big screen. Bring on ALL the beautiful, talented people.

“Shall we begin?” YES. PLEASE.
Star Trek Into Darkness, directed by JJ Abrams, is the sequel to the 2009 film. It is coming out May 17, and we will surely be there.

The characters in The Hobbit and Lord of The Rings aren’t particularly attractive. But what if your life depended on being involved with one of them?
Playing a funny game with stars Martin Freeman, Andy Serkis and Sir Ian McKellen, MTV’s Josh Horowitz gave the actors a hard time in choosing whether they would F*ck/marry/kill characters like Gollum, the Eye of Sauron, Smaug or Bilbo Baggins.
There obviously isn’t much to choose from (because really, who would want to kiss an Orc?), but I agree with McKellan for marrying the dragon Smaug.
Although villainous, Smaug is voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch and that man is BEAUTIFUL.
