The much anticipated Girl Meets World is the bearer of more good news.
We already know Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel are reprising their roles, and that Rowan Blanchard has already been cast as their daughter Riley. What we didn’t know, was that Cory and Topanga will also have a son.
TVLine reports that Teo Halm is casted as the pairs son, Elliott. I wonder if Elliott will be similar to Cory’s siblings. Will Elliott be like Eric or Morgan? I guess we will have to wait to see.
The more Boy Meets World spinoff news we get, the more I can’t wait to see Cory, Topanga, and the gang on my screen. Just imagine all the disciplining Cory is going to do, and all the times HIS parents will look at him and remind him what he was like as a child. Without a doubt, I expect a lot of great Boy Meets World references from the spinoff.
I also want to see Uncle Eric and Uncle Shawn. No shame.
Here is Teo Halm, the face of Cory and Topanga’s son. Do you think he accurately represents what the pairs son would look like?

We asked ourselves that same question, so we decided to do a baby morph to see what their baby would look like.
Now that you have seen who has been casted versus the undeniably accurate medical representation of what Cory and Topanga’s offspring would look like, it is up to you to decide.
Looking at the pictures, it looks like the nose, eyes, ears, and jaw line are all pretty accurate.
Casting: you’re doing it right.
All us 90′s kids were filled with excitement (and possibly a little dread) when we heard that Boy Meets World‘s creator Michael Jacobs was going forward with the show’s spin-off, Girl Meets World. Something tells me that the majority of the people who will watch this show will be nostalgic 20-30 year olds, opposed to the target pre-teen audiences. Who’s complaining? Not me.

Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel will resume roles their roles as Cory and Topanga, parents to Riley Mathews, as played by 11-year-old Rowan Blanchard. Her friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) has been casted as Riley’s best friend.
Jacob’s told Entertainment Weekly the show will follow Riley as she struggles to grow up and yes, we can expect to see some familiar faces. By the way, I just might die when Uncle Eric shows up… or even Uncle Shawn for that matter. Jacobs also mentioned that Riley will be more like one parent than the other, however traits of the other parent will kick in every now and then.

Jacobs also let it spill that Cory and Topanga will still not be perfect and will struggle with their relationship every now and then. I am seriously excited for more Cory/Topanga cuteness and hilarity.

Let’s be real – we all just want to see Mr. Feeny have to endure teaching another Matthews. Did we really believe Feeny would retire?
To get you all excited about Girl Meets World filming the pilot this month, I bring to you the 12 best moments of Boy Meets World.

Kids of the ’90s, prepare to celebrate.
Because word on the street is, Disney’s in early talks to develop a remake of Boy Meets World , the classic coming-of-age sitcom that melted our hearts between 1993 and 2001.
According to TVLine, The Disney Channel is planning on a sequel series called, Girl Meets World, which will focus on the pre-teen daughter of Cory and Topanga (aka BEST COUPLE EVER). And because the show is only at its early stages, sources are saying that the cable network is trying to land original series stars Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel to reprise their roles!! However, no word yet on whether Cory’s best friend Shawn (Rider Strong) or brother Eric (Will Friedle) will be coming back.
Fans of the show will remember the couple getting married during the college years and moving to New York City so Topanga can live out her dream of being a lawyer. And while her and Cory may already have a happy-ever-after, it’ll be awesome to see what their daughter will be like!!
What do you think?? Personally, the 90s kid in me is freaking out with excitement. So for good measure, here’s the theme song!
