Cuteness overload. You just want to reach into your computer screen and give this pup a little push to get out of that tent. Whoever put this adorable corgi in a tent and didn’t give him a hand, I am mad at you! Why not just let him out?
Oh right. Viral potential.
Wednesday was a historic day in New Zealand as the government finally passed legislation legalizing gay marriage.
It wasn’t just the crowd gathered outside, however, who were ecstatic to hear the news. In what is probably one of the most heartwarming videos I have ever seen, the entire House of Representatives broke out singing the love song “Pokarekare Ana” in Maori, a language spoken by indigenous tribes in the country.
I’m not one to watch televised coverage of parliamentary debates (I prefer Keeping Up With the Kardashians), but this is a must see. Just try to make it to the end of this video without cracking a smile.
If only the rest of the world – I’m looking at you, USA – would follow New Zealand’s lead, we could all be singing too!
A lot of little boys picture themselves scoring a touchdown in a huge stadium with the roar of a cheering crowd in the background. And with the help of the Nebraska Huskers, 7-year-old Jack Hoffman got to live that dream.
Hoffman is a cancer patient who has been close to the team’s running back, Rex Burkhead, since last season, and he scored a 69-yard touchdown for his heroes in their annual Red-White spring game yesterday.
This is such a touching gesture by the team and an amazing opportunity for Jack and his family. Watch the video of his big moment and try to hold back the flood of tears that will inevitably build up behind your eyes:
Forgive me if this post seems rushed, I’m busy frantically calling Iams, Pedigree and other pet food chains before this dog gets her own agent. In most cases, the first bath is supposed to be the beginning of a rivalry between dog and its natural enemy: the bathtub. Marni, on the other hand, braves her first experience like a boss and fully cooperates. Don’t be surprised if you see this video appear in some sort of advertisement soon. If it does, I want a 10 percent share in the profits.
