TMZ has announced that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are officially divorced after three and a half years of marriage. According to the L.A. County Superior Court, their marriage was formally terminated on November 22.

No information has been released about the custody of their child, Bronx Mowgli, but it is rumoured that Simpson is requesting primary custody while Wentz is requesting joint. Wentz says that the split is a cause of the couple growing apart.

It seems that the Simpson sisters are not having much luck in the marriage department! Let’s just hope that Jessica’s soon-to-be marriage with NFL player Eric Johnson ends better than her marriage with singer Nick Lachey or Ashlee’s with Pete. I guess the third Simpson marriage is a charm?

Ashlee Simpson drunk dialed ex Pete Wentz to say she wants him back. Ashlee filed for divorce from Pete in February.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: “Ashlee was telling Pete how much she misses him and wants him back.”

The couple have a two year old son named Bronx Mowgli.

However, friends of Pete say it’s not going to happen.

A friend said: “He will never go back to her. He’s in a good place.”

Singing sisters Jessica and Ashlee Simpson are going to launch a tween clothing line, reports Billboard.

The line will be launched under the ‘Jessica Simpson Collection’ label and will include everything from sportswear to denim to fashion-forward pieces. The line will hit stores in the fall.

Jessica and Ashlee will reportedly serve as the collection’s co-creative directors.

“Creating a tween apparel collection was a natural extension for the brand. I’m excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today’s tweens,” Jessica told WWD.

Ashlee adds, “My goal as co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion.”

Scoff not at this idea, though. Jessica’s adult clothing line, titled ‘The Jessica Simpson Collection’ and features virtually anything from shoes to handbags, racked in a total of $750 million in 2010.

I think the line will do well, as all of Simpson’s clothing ventures do. I think she markets it right, prices it low, and creates items that appeal to a large demographic.

According to MTV.com, the former member of Fall Out Boy, Pete Wentz and faux punk teen queen, Ashlee Simpson have decided to get a divorce.

The couple has been married since May 2008. Simpson has reportedly filed “irreconcilable differences” at a Los Angeles courthouse. The couple seeks joint custody of their two-year-old son, Bronx.

TMZ.com reports that Simpson wants out due to Wentz’s unruly behavior. However, other sources claim that the break up is mutual and peaceful. The couple has been somewhat out of the spotlight for a year or so now. Simpson really dropped off the map once her son was born whereas, Wentz continued to tour and keep up his bad boy persona. The split doesn’t really come as a shock. So many of these celebrity couples are doomed to fail. Maybe Simpson will find solace in the arms of her ex-boyfriend, musician, Ryan Cabrera.

Pop Eater is reporting that Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden has finally wed his long-time girlfriend (and mother of his two children) Nicole Ritchie in what is being called a “glamorous, old Hollywood affair.”

The guest list (which despite earlier reports of being “close family only” ended up sitting at around 130) included some of today’s biggest entertainers including Gwen Stefani, Ashlee Simpson, and Kris Jenner. We can only presume that daughter Harlow, 2, and son Sparrow, 1, also joined the couple as they took their vows.

Though largely shrouded in secrecy, it has been confirmed that the wedding was an outdoor affair and somehow involved a (very well trained) elephant.

Elephants are so in this season after all!

Ashlee Simpson was seen instigating a fight with her husband, Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, Saturday, reports Perez Hilton. Wentz was celebrating the one year anniversary of his bar, Angels & Kings, following a performance by his band at the Blink 182 concert in his hometown of Chicago.

Eye-witnesses say an extremely drunk Simpson went up to her husband in the bar’s DJ booth and yelled at him to leave. “They fought,” reported a witness, ”she told him he was horrible in front of a whole group of people and made him leave his own party early. So they make a scene and leave the bar.”

The couple reportedly continued to fight once outside the bar, and Simpson chased a passerby down the street and forced him to erase photos he’d taken of the incident. Security then escorted the pair back to the corner where their driver picked them up in an SUV.

This follows an incident where Simpson publicly berated Wentz’s ex-girlfriend, Michelle Trachtenberg.

Singer Ryan Cabrera celebrated his 27th birthday in Las Vegas, hosting a pre-party at his Los Angeles home the night before, reports Perez Hilton.

Beforehand, Cabrera went to each of his neighbours to warn them about the party, offering to put them up in a hotel for the night.

Cabrera, who dated Ashlee Simpson, has been trying to sell the house for almost a year, reportedly due to money troubles.

Last week gossip sites were filled with rumors that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson’s marriage was “on the rocks” due to the bassist’s busy schedule.

However on Friday, Wentz and Simpson happily kissed onstage at the Australian Video Music Awards. “Sorry, we haven’t seen each other in a while,” Simpson told the audience. “We’re going to find a quiet place to fornicate.”

MTV reports that Wentz emailed them about the rumors that his marriage was in trouble, calling them “nonsense” and telling his fans to consider the source of rumours before believing them.

“We’re still going steady. She’s still wearing my letterman jacket,” he wrote. “And you shouldn’t believe everything you read on the Internet. It’s nonsense.”

It’s a bouncing baby…Bronx for Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz.

Simpson-Wentz, 24, gave birth to Bronx Mowgli Wentz on Thursday, reportedly at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is Los Angeles.

Simpson-Wentz is the younger sister of pop singer Jessica Simpson, famous for her lip-syncing slip-up on Saturday Night Live in 2004. Wentz is the bass player for Fall Out Boy. They married May 17 this year in L.A., and later revealed that Simpson-Wentz was expecting at the time of their nuptials.

Mom-to-be Ashlee Simpson is expecting a baby boy, reports OK! Magazine.

Simpson and husband Pete Wentz have created a gift register at exclusive Los Angeles baby boutique Petit Tresor. According to a source, the couple purchased an over abundance of blue things.

“They made it very clear that it was a boy,” said the source.

The couple reportedly purchased a selection of T-shirts and bibs from the Plain Mary collection with the words, “Hunk”, “Loved” and “Yummy” inscribed on the front.

Mr. Wentz recently revealed that he is eager to find out the sex of his baby. “I’d like to know the sex of the baby. It would be a bummer if you bought a boy a bunch of pink stuff!”

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz displayed her pregnancy figure in a fitted black dress at the opening of husband Pete Wentz’s bar “Angels & Kings” in Chicago, reports E! News.

After posing for photos outside the bar, Wentz commented on his wife’s pregnancy and said he is doing his best to cater to her needs:

“Oh yeah, I do the whole nine [yards], anything to keep her comfortable – massages, the works.”

Inside, Simpson-Wentz surprised her husband, who was also celebrating his 29th birthday, with a slideshow.

“I thought you said you wouldn’t do anything embarrassing!” he said to her.

Afterward, Wentz was presented with a giant cake in the shape of a bulldog who represented the couple’s beloved Hemingway, the ring bearer at their wedding.

Newlywed and mom-to-be Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has put her summer tour on hold.

“After careful consideration, Ashlee Simpson has decided to postpone her summer tour,” the singer’s publicist said in a statement Saturday. “She is committed to giving her fans the best show possible, and will be back better than ever and ready to rock in the future.”

The new Mrs. Wentz was in Las Vegas with her parents and husband for the Palms Place grand opening, where Pete Wentz was dj-ing.

After months of gossip, the couple officially announced last week that they were expecting their first child.

“While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child,”” said a statement Wednesday on Wentz’s blog.

“This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.”

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz proved short engagements are becoming increasingly popular among celebrities by getting married Saturday-a little more than a month after announcing their engagement.

According to sources, the newlyweds exchanged vows at the Encino home of the bride’s parents, Joe and Tina Simpson, says E! News.

“We’re delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends,” a family rep told People magazine.

Among the 150 guests who attended were big sister and maid of honour Jessica Simpson (and her beau Tony Romo), Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, “Scrubs” star Donald Faison and Wentz’s fellow “Fall Out Boys.”

Sources have also told E! News that the 23-year-old bride and the 28-year-old groom are also expecting their first child.

Us Magazine claims that pop stars Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz will be marrying this Saturday.

The couple only recently announced their engagement in April, and have been battling baby rumours.

According to the mag’s source, “all guests will be transported in shuttles to the wedding location,” which currently remains a secret.

Simpson and Wentz are determined to keep their wedding a private affair. They only have their guests save the date cards, instead of official invitations.

The source also said that the rehearsal dinner, to take place on Friday, will include only family and close friends.

OK! Magazine is reporting that 23-year-old Simpson is pregnant, and is due in October.

Simpson’s father, Joe, is a minister.

A source for the magazine said that Simpson and Wentz are “perfect for each other as any two people could be. They don’t spend a minute apart if they can possibly avoid it and are over the moon about the baby.”

As for wedding plans, the source said that “They’re planning on something in the Santa Barbara area probably by the end of May. Ashlee would like to walk down the aisle before she’s showing – although she is very cute the way she is always checking out her belly now and asking everyone, ‘am I showing yet?’ She’s leaning towards Vera Wang for her gown. Ashlee Simpson is using her MySpace blog to defend herself after comments were made that she was drunk when she appeared on a Washington radio station earlier this week.

Simpson claims she had just gotten a tattoo the night before, but had nothing to drink. She was slurring her words and giggling on air a lot, making many wonder if she had been drinking.

“The night before, I had a good friend come to my hotel to give me a tattoo. When I arrived to the radio station I showed them the tattoo… It is my belief that they automatically assumed that because I got a tattoo I must have drank that night,” she writes.

“I felt bad energy and like I was about to be attacked as soon as I sat down. I felt uncomfortable. I was asked mostly personal questions which are never fun to be asked and therefore I giggled my way through it… Questions & false rumors about my dad being a jerk, being pregnant, being engaged, etc are not fun to answer every single day.

“Eventually I try to just laugh them off and hope they start asking me important questions about my album and music which is why I am there. Five minutes after the interview was over I heard the dj that interviewed me say on the air that I was drunk. That really upset me especially after how uncomfortable they made me feel.”

Pop star ASHLEE SIMPSON has found an unlikely music legend to help her record her new album – THE CURE rocker ROBERT SMITH.

The pair are working together to create a new sound for the follow up to Simpson’s first album I AM ME.

FALL OUT BOY frontman PETE WENTZ – a friend of Simpson and Smith – claims the pair met when the 22-year-old singer was in London last year performing in West End music CHICAGO.

He says “I doubt I had anything to do with it, ’cause they were friends since she was performing in Chicago. But I definitely only have good things to say about Ash – I think the collaboration could be great.”

The most random coupling of the week award goes to singer Ashlee Simpson and actor Taye Diggs.

And here I thought Ashlee was content with her emo poster boy Peen Wentz.

It seems not so much. Simpson and Diggs were spotted “cheek to cheek” at G Spa last week, reports Page Six.

The couple took tequila shots and were chatting and whispering with intertwined arms for a half hour.

A rep for Simpson says she and Diggs are “just friends.”

Pop singer and occasional actress Ashlee Simpson was spotted riding shotgun in Pete Wentz’s car this week, signalling the duo may have rekindled their romance.

Simpson and the Fall Out Boy band member had a brief fling this summer and seem to have picked up where they left off before Simpson went overseas.
