TMZ has announced that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are officially divorced after three and a half years of marriage. According to the L.A. County Superior Court, their marriage was formally terminated on November 22.
No information has been released about the custody of their child, Bronx Mowgli, but it is rumoured that Simpson is requesting primary custody while Wentz is requesting joint. Wentz says that the split is a cause of the couple growing apart.
It seems that the Simpson sisters are not having much luck in the marriage department! Let’s just hope that Jessica’s soon-to-be marriage with NFL player Eric Johnson ends better than her marriage with singer Nick Lachey or Ashlee’s with Pete. I guess the third Simpson marriage is a charm?
Ashlee Simpson drunk dialed ex Pete Wentz to say she wants him back. Ashlee filed for divorce from Pete in February.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: “Ashlee was telling Pete how much she misses him and wants him back.”
The couple have a two year old son named Bronx Mowgli.
However, friends of Pete say it’s not going to happen.
A friend said: “He will never go back to her. He’s in a good place.”
Singing sisters Jessica and Ashlee Simpson are going to launch a tween clothing line, reports Billboard.
The line will be launched under the ‘Jessica Simpson Collection’ label and will include everything from sportswear to denim to fashion-forward pieces. The line will hit stores in the fall.
Jessica and Ashlee will reportedly serve as the collection’s co-creative directors.
“Creating a tween apparel collection was a natural extension for the brand. I’m excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today’s tweens,” Jessica told WWD.
Ashlee adds, “My goal as co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion.”
Scoff not at this idea, though. Jessica’s adult clothing line, titled ‘The Jessica Simpson Collection’ and features virtually anything from shoes to handbags, racked in a total of $750 million in 2010.
I think the line will do well, as all of Simpson’s clothing ventures do. I think she markets it right, prices it low, and creates items that appeal to a large demographic.
According to MTV.com, the former member of Fall Out Boy, Pete Wentz and faux punk teen queen, Ashlee Simpson have decided to get a divorce.
The couple has been married since May 2008. Simpson has reportedly filed “irreconcilable differences” at a Los Angeles courthouse. The couple seeks joint custody of their two-year-old son, Bronx.
TMZ.com reports that Simpson wants out due to Wentz’s unruly behavior. However, other sources claim that the break up is mutual and peaceful. Pop Eater is reporting that Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden has finally wed his long-time girlfriend (and mother of his two children) Nicole Ritchie in what is being called a “glamorous, old Hollywood affair.”

Ashlee Simpson was seen instigating a fight with her husband, Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, Saturday, reports Perez Hilton. Wentz was celebrating the one year anniversary of his bar, Angels & Kings, following a performance by his band at the Blink 182 concert in his hometown of Chicago.
Eye-witnesses say an extremely drunk Simpson went up to her husband in the bar’s DJ booth and yelled at him to leave. “They fought,” reported a witness, ”she told him he was horrible in front of a whole group of people and made him leave his own party early. So they make a scene and leave the bar.”
Singer Ryan Cabrera celebrated his 27th birthday in Las Vegas, hosting a pre-party at his Los Angeles home the night before, reports Perez Hilton.
Beforehand, Cabrera went to each of his neighbours to warn them about the party, offering to put them up in a hotel for the night.
Cabrera, who dated Ashlee Simpson, has been trying to sell the house for almost a year, reportedly due to money troubles.

The couple reportedly purchased a selection of T-shirts and bibs from the Plain Mary collection with the words, “Hunk”, “Loved” and “Yummy” inscribed on the front.

Ashlee Simpson is using her MySpace blog to defend herself after comments were made that she was drunk when she appeared on a Washington radio station earlier this week.
Simpson claims she had just gotten a tattoo the night before, but had nothing to drink. She was slurring her words and giggling on air a lot, making many wonder if she had been drinking.
“The night before, I had a good friend come to my hotel to give me a tattoo. When I arrived to the radio station I showed them the tattoo… It is my belief that they automatically assumed that because I got a tattoo I must have drank that night,” she writes.
“I felt bad energy and like I was about to be attacked as soon as I sat down. I felt uncomfortable. I was asked mostly personal questions which are never fun to be asked and therefore I giggled my way through it… Questions & false rumors about my dad being a jerk, being pregnant, being engaged, etc are not fun to answer every single day.

He says “I doubt I had anything to do with it, ’cause they were friends since she was performing in Chicago. But I definitely only have good things to say about Ash – I think the collaboration could be great.”

Pop singer and occasional actress Ashlee Simpson was spotted riding shotgun in Pete Wentz’s car this week, signalling the duo may have rekindled their romance.
Simpson and the Fall Out Boy band member had a brief fling this summer and seem to have picked up where they left off before Simpson went overseas.
