Artist Aslan Malik turns his pen and targets North Korea as he turns the nation’s dictator Kim Jong-Un into Justice League villains. He uses the nation’s currency to create his “Injustice League” collection. Seeing as we’re not in North Korea, we can freely say that it isn’t too far from the truth.
I really like books. It doesn’t matter if it’s a long epic novel or a picture book, I just like collecting and reading books.
I think my next purchase may just be T-Rex Trying by Hugh Murphy. We already know that it would be impossible for a T-Rex to put/take off party hat thanks to his short little arms, but what would happen if he were to do things like:
1. Doing a Cartwheel
2. Trying to win a sack race

3. Trying to take a profile picture

4. Trying to reach for food in the back of the fridge

5. Trying to hold his girlfriend’s hand

D’awwww… If they were so damn scary in Jurassic Park I would actually feel bad for our T-Rex friend because he just wanted to hold her hand.
Who knew Tilda Swinton was Snow White in disguise?
Surprising visitors at the MoMA, the actress will be taking up residency in New York’s MoMA this month on random days. As a MoMA source tells the Gothamist, ”Museum staff doesn’t know she’s coming until the day of, but she’s here today. She’ll be there the whole day. All that’s in the box is cushions and a water jug.”
“Tilda Swinton will be doing unannounced, random performance art pieces sleeping in a glass box in the museum,” the source added. “Today is the first performance. Each performance lasts the whole day the museum is open.”
Titled “The Maybe”, Swinton first performed the piece in London in 1995 at the Serpentine Gallery. She has also performed the piece in the Museo Barracco in Rome.
I’ll be lying if I said I understood performance art, but I suppose this is significantly better than Yoko Ono’s take at it.
P.S. What will Tilda do if she needs to use the washroom?!!!!
There is something to be said about sitting down with a big mug of coffee, tea, or any warm drink of your choice as it’s one of the best, most comforting feelings known to man kind.
I remember in high school when I would sit down to study or do homework I would make myself a big cup of tea or coffee to get myself calmed down and ready to be productive. It always did the trick and kept me focused and free of panic.
A mug can be sacred to a person who finds serenity in sitting down with a hot drink. For this reason, everybody should have a go-to one that is representative of their personality. It makes the experience that much more serene.
The world (and internet) is plentiful with unique mugs. I’m sure you can can even get your own made if you really wanted to. Your own mug can become your staple, also it will prevent anyone else in your family from using it if you have a one that is distinctly yours.
For me personally, I think I would invest in a big mug with Time Square on it or a quote about dreaming big. Yes, you just got the ultimate insight on who I am as a person which is my point: your mug should encompass who you are or at least a small fraction of you reflected on it.
Here are some suggestions of cool mugs to suit your unique characteristics

Art lovers are in for a little surprise when visiting the Orange County Museum of Art as a giant black Labrador is currently peeing yellow paint on the side of the building. The larger-than-life sculpture was created by 73-year-old artist, Richard Jackson, as part of his retrospective exhibition at the museum.

Hopefully the museum can catch priceless reactions from passerbys because that’s one viral video waiting to happen.

The Little Mermaid
Do you ever wonder what might have happened if Ursula married the prince? or if Cruella De Ville got her hands on the fur of those 101 dalmations?
TheArtOfImagination digital animations’s give us an idea of the possible alternative outcomes of classic disney tales – if the villains succeeded with their schemes. These are seriously awesome. I think someone needs to start writing alternative stories where the villains come out on top because, what can I say? Happily ever afters are predictable. It’s an interesting concept, this whole idea of good not triumphing over evil. Of course we dont want to ruin these tales for the younger generation who would probably be scarred for life if Cinderella remained sentenced to be a slave for her step-mother and step-sisters for the rest of her life, or if the Dalmations never escaped Cruelle De Ville.
Interesting enough, Hans Christian Anderson and the Grimm Brothers original tales were significantly darker then their disney adaptations, and recent movie adaptations of these tales like Snow White and the Huntsmen and Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters are also darker their their family friendly counter parts. Seems like it’s the age for dark spins on the “happily ever after” concept. What do you think of darker fairy tales?

Commercial director/cinematographer Jake Schwarz had the brilliant idea of filming and editing simple ink drops in 4K resolution (4096×2304). The result is a soothing visual masterpiece, kind of like those Baby Einstein videos toddlers watch but without the rubber duckie.
But before you hit play, make sure to do these three things first:
It really is a beautiful piece of work and if you’re looking for a new background image, you can do what one commenter suggested: pausing the video at any moment and screen cap that shit. Boom! It’s an instant improvement over Apple’s default galaxy wallpaper.
An artist named Kim Beom’s peculiar instructional video displays a unique way of painting. The actor in the video literally lets the emotion seep out of him by picking up his paintbrush, putting his mouth close to the bristles and screaming while he paints.
Not just any old scream too; “A long scream that sounds like when you’re hurt, as if someone yanked your arm behind you or pulled you by the hair,” he says in the instructional video. It’s getting quite a reaction on YouTube from people who don’t realize the instructional video is actually part of the art project:
Beom isn’t a troll but the project fits with his sense of humour. The painting “Yellow Scream” was acquired by the Walker Art Center and the 31-minute instructional video is shown on their site.
On a different note, if Beom actually painted like the actor in this video I can imagine two fierce lines drawn in the artistic world: Those who call it art and those who say it’s too sensational.Where would you stand in the conversation?

Did you know this was a thing? Apparently some One Direction fans have so much time on their hands they create gender-swapped drawings of their favourite guys. Harry becomes Harriet and Louis is a dead ringer for Louisa. This is almost as creepy as Larry Tomlinson fan fiction, but not quite as bad. [Buzzfeed]

Compared to the other things Lady Gaga says or wears, a simple new tattoo is pretty unimpressive. Well, I mean it would be pretty dramatic if she tattooed Mother Monster on her forehead in Bauhaus 93 font but her tattoo is a simple anchor tattoo.
It’s pretty darn cute, especially because it’s presumably dedicated to her model boyfriend Taylor Kinney (d’aw). Gaga met the hunky dude on the set of Gaga’s video where she played a mermaid. That clarifies her tweet SO MUCH. Along the the photo she said: ”New Tat. Stamp of His Mermaid.”
While we don’t necessarily advise getting tattoos in tribute of your boyfriend or girlfriend, we think this one is pretty adorbz! Gaga got her new ink at the Amsterdam Tattoo Museum, while on the European leg of her Born This Way Ball tour.

Our day has finally come fellow young adults. There’s a 90 percent chance you never wanted to give up colouring books when you were young but your art teacher encouraged forced you to take up sketching sans guides and crayons, which is total balderdash.
Now someone created a grown-up specific colouring book for us to fill in on long commutes, during play dates or, well, who needs an occasion? The book’s tagline is “It’s like kindergarten, but with more drinking.”
Some examples of features include “Procrastination Station” (for when you’re bored at work) “Hipster or Homeless?” and “Know Your Ages of Consent.” I know what I want to do during my next craft-acular day off.
It’s fun AND educational!

Well, the wait is over.
The music video for “Take Care”,the super catchy song on Drizzy’s second album featuring Rihanna is finally out.
Featuring artistic and slow-motion shots of landscapes and animals, the video directed by Yoann Lemoine, also features Drake and Rihanna singing in a tight embrace.
While I’m not quite sure what this video means, but the images here are quite stunning! If it’s something that doesn’t belong in an installation art exhibit, then it certainly is something Drake would have as a music video!
What do you think?
Kanye West is changing his in-your-face ways and has taken a backseat when it comes to his own work. MTV News reports that West did not want to star in his own music videos.
Director Nabil Elderkin and the rap star both agreed to leave the star out of his newest video “Coldest Winter”, which premiered on Monday via iTunes, about over a year after the record 808s & Heartbreak came out. The video shows a struggling woman wearing a white dress running through a gloomy, wintry forest, being followed by creepy hooded characters. West isn’t in the video – not even under one of the hoods.
There was no convincing, twisting of arms or anything; Kanye and Elderkin both agreed with the concept.
It looks like the times are a-changin’ for Bob Dylan.
The timeless musician, known for his five decades of influence in the music industry, will showcase his visual art for the first time in London starting this Saturday, Febraury 13.
Even though Dylan has been making art since his early music tour in 1989, this will be the first time that his works go on display for the public.
