
DJ Earworm’s annual mashup of 2012′s Top 40 hits is finally here and while it doesn’t capture that “dance floor feeling” we’re used to, it’s dayam catchy.
I don’t know about you, but each of these songs are associated with a unique memory of the past year for me. Listening to the whole track is like a flashback of my best and worst moments — it’s funny how a song can bottle up a memory like that.
One criticism I have is that he didn’t include Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe,” which was clearly one of the most listened to tracks of the year. Do you think it should have been included?
In order to preserve Amy Winehouse’s memory, Mitch Winehouse plans to hold a star filled concert every year in Amy’s honour. The concerts will be used to raise money for the Amy Winehouse foundation.
“We need to make sure the money keeps coming in,” the Daily Star quoted him as saying.
“We are definitely planning a memorial concert for this year. We are hoping to have one here and in America and we’ll do that every year and alternate doing it in LA and New York,” he said.
“I’d love to have Tony Bennett on the bill as he is a friend of the foundation and has donated $100,000 dollars which is incredible… We’d also love to have Lady Gaga there,” he added.
