Singer-songwriter Anjulie is currently touring all across Canada with none other than Shawn Desman!
“I’m actually a big fan of Shawn Desman, a big fan,” said the singer who previously met the R&B singer when they sang together with Elton John at last year’s Fashion Cares gala hosted by the music icon.”But this is my first time kicking it with him and seeing his shows, which I hear is amazing because I heard he can dance his ass off.”

“You and I” — Anjulie
Produced by Italian DJ Benny Benassi, Anjulie’s “You and I” combines a fun, danceable beat with lyrics you can sing along to. The Euro-track shows the Canadian artist’s versatility, as it’s a departure from her recently-released track “Headphones.” You can download “You and I” starting tomorrow!
“Anything Could Happen” — Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding first released a lyric video with fan submitted Instagram photos for “Anything Could Happen.” Now, the lead single from her second studio album Halycon finally has an official music video. The video is about Goulding and her soulmate getting into a car accident and is filmed on a beautiful beach in Malibu. This isn’t your typical car crash though, as the beach is littered with shining spheres, mirrored pyramids. Goulding herself wears a flowing gown. It’s a pretty heart-wrenching video and hopefully isn’t a metaphor for her real life relationship with DJ Skrillex!

Toronto native Anjulie is quietly creeping up the charts.
Her first self-titled album came out in 2009 and garnered her an MTV Music Award nod and tours with Jesse McCartney and B.O.B. Her music was also featured in shows like The Hills and Vampire Diaries.
Fun fact: she wrote Kreesha Turner’s big hit “Don’t Call Me Baby” in 2008.
She’s currently working on her new album to be released next year. Her follow up video to “Brand New Chick” is called “Stand Behind the Music” and it’s a pretty timely video with all the Occupy protests going on around the world.
Perez Hilton posted the video today and we love it. It’s a way more meaningful video than her previous one that had an abundant amount of tacky outfits and weird dancing.
