AOL is reporting a fascinating story on ex-American-Gladiator, Storm, and the long, difficult road she has faced since starring on one of America’s oldest and most beloved reality TV shows.

While known for being in phenomenal shape while on the show, Storm is in dire straits these days. Her real name is Debbie Clark, and she currently lives on the streets of  San Diego.

Clark, or Storm (I prefer Storm), left the show after blowing out her ACL. After testing her talents both as a country music artist and in the culinary world, among several other things, the well slowly dried.

Who knew professional nerf-gun fighting and padded jousting were not transferable skills in the modern workplace?

Jokes aside, hopefully this story generates some positive publicity for Clark, and she is able to get back in the arena.
