TMZ is reporting that “Ugly Betty” actor Michael L. Brea has was taken into custody Tuesday morning after he allegedly stabbed his mother to death in her Brooklyn apartment.

Reports initially came out that Brea allegedly used some type of novelty like a Samurai sword in the killing, however officials are now releasing statements that another type of blade was used, roughly 3 feet in length.

I don’t watch “Ugly Betty,” nor do I know anyone who does anymore, but I’d highly recommend Michael stop killing the few people who do still watch, the actors’ parents.

Viewers of the show are now limited to America Ferrera’s mother (her father couldn’t handle the second season) and unattractive clerical assistants.
