I’d definitely pay more attention to the Amazing Race Canada if the deadmau5 clan made the show! The DJ’s hilarious siblings Chris and Jen Zimmerman got their famous brother and fiancé Kat von D to help out on their audition tape for the cross-country adventure series. If props from Hollywood’s hottest tattooed couple wasn’t enough, deadmau5 gave Chris and Jen a little extra love to his 2 million Twitter followers:

Good luck Chris and Jen! Hope we get to see you on adventures ‘n’ stuff.
Tyler and James, both models and recovering drug addicts, won $1 million U.S. by crossing the finish line first in Sunday’s finale of The Amazing Race 10.
“Ever since I’ve been sober I feel like that’s how my life has been,” said Tyler after finishing first, according to Canoe. “Like, ‘Is this really happening?’ It’s too good to be true almost, like, ‘When am I going to wake up?’”
The episode itself was notably uneventful, with teams doing little more than travelling, save for a sky-diving trip. The finish line was located at St. Basil’s Academy in New York state.
The two beat out Rob and Kimberly, who finished second, and “Team Alabama,” Lyn and Karlyn. The latter team was the first all-female pairing to reach the top three, but fell into a distant third when they missed getting seats with the other two teams on a flight out of Paris.
The next season of The Amazing Race will reportedly feature an all-star cast of past racers.
The success of the choice is up in the air; host Phil Keoghan has spoken out against changing the standard show format in the past, as the Family Edition of the show disappointed many fans. And unfortunately, Rob and Amber are said to be returning for the all-star season.
The critical and Emmy award winning reality show “The Amazing Race” has decided to air an all-star edition of the race around the world.
E! Online reports that Rob and Amber Marrino, who met on Survivor all-stars, and already competed on the race, will be one of the couples involved for the season which will air as the show’s 11th instalment.
Other couples are rumoured to include David and Mary Conley, Colin Guinn and Christie Woods and Mirna Hindoyan and Charla Faddoul. Some couples who were apparently not invited back for the all-star edition are not to pleased with the decision that they won’t be participating.
“I don’t want to sugarcoat this or anything, there is definitely going to be an Amazing Race: All-Stars, they will be starting within the next few days and Kim and I never got a phone call from anyone, not from [the executive producers], not from CBS, not from anyone,” Chip McAllister said in his blog on MySpace last month.
“We have run the gamut of emotions. I hate to be one of these kind of people that thinks he’s entitled to be an All-Star—I may not actually, Kim and I may not be All-Stars material—but to be completely forgotten by CBS and the CBS decision makers…it really doesn’t feel good. We could have been contacted.”
The blog was removed by CBS a day after it was posted.
However Chip and Kim are not the only ones upset. BJ and Tyler, the hippies who won last season’s race, also expressed disappointment in a blog posting.
According to Variety, “The Amazing Race: All Star Edition” started taping last week in Miami.
“The Amazing Race” has announced the 12 teams competing in the reality show’s 10th season, E! Online reports.
“I really believe we’ve never really had such a broad spectrum of people, We’ve, I think, always had a diverse cast, but this particular cast is the whole gamut. It’s really exciting to see them all at the starting line,” host Phil Keoghan said about the contestants.
The teams include: married couple Vipul and Arti Patel; brothers Erwin and Godwin Cho; couple Tom Rock and Terry Consentino; best friends Kellie Patterson and Jamie Hill; best friends Lyn Turk and Karlyn Harris; married couple David and Mary Conley; best friends Bilal Abdul-Man and Sa’eed Rudolph; friends Peter Harsch and Sarah Reinersten; dating couple Rob Diaz and Kimberly Chabolla; best friends Tyler Denk and James Branaman; best friends Dustin Konzelman and Kandice Pelletier; and Duke Marcoccio with his daughter Lauren Marcoccio.
The starting line for the new season of “The Amazing Race” will be Seattle’s Gas Works Park, and contestants will travel to four different continents including countries like China, Mongolia, North Vietnam, Madagascar and Kuwait, among others.
