Supermodel Adriana Lima accepted a big gift on her birthday last weekend—an engagement ring from boyfriend basketball star Marko Jaric, reports People Magazine.

“He asked and she said yes. They are both incredibly happy and couldn’t be more in love,” says Lima’s publicist James Weir.

The Brazilian model turned 27 on Thursday and she and her fiancé, who plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves, have been dating for about nine months.

“I was not the person to fall in love easily. I am a difficult person from that standpoint,” Jaric told People magazine back in March. “Now, it’s a little different situation.”

The marriage will be the first for both.
