The mid-season finale of Pretty Little Liars, aptly called “The BetrAyal,” was actually too much for me to handle. In between crying and abrasively yelling at the TV that “I can’t, I can’t, it’s too much!” I somehow managed to calm myself down long enough to fill you guys in on what you missed.
*NOTE: ANDPOP takes no responsibility if you throw your laptop at the wall after reading this. Because let me tell you, you’re in for a wave of emotions.
1. Toby and Spencer have sex – PLL totally teased us by dangling Toby in front of our faces like “Oh! Look at what a good guy he is.” Spencer is so smitten by him that she even decides to have sex with him, which is HUGE! We know Spencer is the most calculated of the bunch so if she trusts Toby, then we should too. RIGHT? Wrong.
2. Nate is a fake — Remember that stalker Maya had a while back? Plot twist: it was Nate, whose real name is Lyndon. After Nate whisks Emily away for a “quiet” weekend at a cottage he confesses to being Maya’s stalker and as a final act of revenge he tries to kill Paige, who he kidnapped. Luckily Emily manages to kill Nate/Lyndon, which means Garrett can be released from prison.
3. Caleb gets shot- Kay, so there’s a 99.9 percent chance I’m crying as I write this, because Caleb got shot. All I know is he better make a full recovery or else I will not be okay and life as I know it will end.

As Fox gears up for Season 12 of American Idol, there’s lots of talk and speculation about who the new judge will be and who will be replaced.
Top speculations started off with fan fave and Idol alum, Adam Lambert who seems to be the perfect pick in my eyes. Not only does he have mad vocal skills, killer style and a very honest personality, he was also the runner up to Kris Allen on Season 8 and has a clear vision of what it was once like.
In a statement Adam responds, “Idol has an amazing history of introducing great musical talent, and I was very fortunate to have had the Idol stage play a big part in my career,” Lambert says. “If Idol wants to talk to me about judging, I’d be more than flattered to have that conversation.”
Miley Cyrus or Katy Perry would bring in the younger, modern crowd while Will.I.Am (who has been a past mentor on the show) and Fergie know everything there is to know about making catchy hits, both members of the popular band, The Black Eyed Peas.
With new competing shows such as Fox’s X-Factor and NBC’s The Voice, it would actually be refreshing to see someone new judging these upcoming singers and not have to hear the same feedback over and over. No offence dawg, I mean Randy Jackson. Let us know who’s your vote?
If we had to pick 10 celebrities to party with, Adam Lambert would most definitely make the list. From what we hear, he really knows how to throw a party. In this interview Adam talks to @jordans_life about club culture influenced the song Cuckoo and he sets the record straight about some Olympic rumours. Make sure to check back for parts 2 and 3 coming soon!

Adam Lambert lives in some high-security, 1984-esque society in the music video for “Never Close Our Eyes.” He wakes up in cement cell, which is under 24-hour surveillance, and promptly marches in an orderly fashion to the cafeteria where everyone is distributed a nutritious breakfast of blue and white pills. Yum.
The entire society is brainwashed to submission, sweating over menial jobs like scrubbing the cement floors with soap and water. But Lambert breaks up the hypnotized party by with some sort of Mockingjay-inspired speech, inspiring everyone to rebel against the uniformed-guards.
Despite having virtually no freedoms, the guy manages to look stylish (as always) especially at the end when his grey-toned outfits transform into bright and colourful suits. The track is from his album Trespassing, which topped the Billboard 200 chart.

I can only imagine that sometime in the future when we purchase our favourite musician’s record they’ll appear right in front of us in holographic form just to say “thank you for being my number one superfan [insert name] and may I just say you look dayam fine.” A girl can only dream but in the meantime some artists are patting you on the back in other interactive ways.
Adam Lambert paired with an app called Zappar for his album Trespassing, which is out today. If you have Zappar when you buy the album, you’ll get a personal video message from the singer and will be able to take a photo with him. You’ll also receive a Golden Ticket that will earn you a special promotion at the cash. Winning.
And please, someone tell us what the surprise is because we’re dying to know.
Also, Lambert stopped by Good Morning America this morning to answer a few quick questions and perform a few of his Trespassing tracks, including his latest single “Never Close Our Eyes.”

Adam Lambert showed off a pared down look and performance at an acoustic set this week, premiering his new song “Never Close our Eyes.” The song was written by Playboy cover star Bruno Mars, and is about never wanting to sleep so you can spend all your time awake with your loved one.
The song will appear on his sophomore album Trespassing, which comes out on May 15. While I love his flashier Queen-style performances you can really hear the power of his voice in this track. He says it’s the first time he’s performed acoustically and I think he should do it more often. [Source]
You can hardly recognize some of these musicians back when they were teens. It shows the dramatic transformation some celebs go through (ahem Marilyn Manson, Madonna), although others look virtually the same, like Katy Perry above.
The photos remind me of the Skrillex evolution we saw last week. I don’t think my high school pictures are so unrecognizable but I will say I rocked a pretty intense side bang.
Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert’s latest video ‘Better Than I Know Myself’ dropped yesterday, it uses the tired concept popularized by another Adam.
The Sandler-like multi-character plot (or Eddie Murphy or Peter Sellars or Jerry Lewis) features the familiar Glambert persona with the guy liner, spikey hair and all black everything versus a clean cut, happier, tea-drinking version of his ego. Could it be a battle of the Adam past and Adam future? Introversive and extroversive? Is this some sort of psychobabble that we cannot grasp?!
“It’s about the relationship you have with yourself between your dark and light side,” Lambert explained to MTV News. “It’s about duality. It’s about that balance and finding it and struggling to maintain it and what that means. It’s an emotionally complicated video and I hope people are open-minded about it. I thought really hard and long about what was covered in it and what I was trying to say with it.”
The video nods to his ‘Whataya Want From Me’ video. “It’s a cousin to that. … There is something similar to ‘Whataya Want From Me.’ I think that domesticated version of myself is my idealistic better version of me,” he explained. “It’s the me I want to be in my right mind. It’s the most happy, content, peaceful, wholesome version of myself.”
One thing is for certain, he’s definitely no Freddy Mercury. Hey dude – you brought on the comparisons yourself.

Adam Lambert, the flamboyant American Idol alum, was rumoured to be joining Queen for a performance at the Sonisphere Fest in July followed by a string of tour dates.
As we reported yesterday, Lambert gloated to the Daily Mail: ”The intention is to pay tribute to Freddie and the band by singing some f***ing great songs,” he allegedly said. “It’s to keep the music alive for the fans and give it an energy that Freddie would have been proud of.”
Lambert then took to his Twitter to dismiss the rumours on Friday evening:
“Oooh them clever reporters takin my quotes outta context…. I haven’t confirmed any guest appearances. I was talking about the EMA’S,” he tweeted, without directly referencing the report. “That being said, I’m truly flattered by your jump to such glorious conclusions mr journalist!!
”
They had all performed together at the 2009 American Idol finals as well as a November gig at the MTV EMAs.
Lambert’s sophomore album Trespassing is due in March.

Freddie Mercury is irreplaceable, but unfortunately, Adam Lambert never got the memo.
The flambouyant “American Idol” winner thinks people will still pay attention to Queen now that he’s their brand new lead singer. Mercury died of bronchopneumonia brought on by AIDS in 1991. Queen was just never the same.
Now, 21 years later, the rest of the band wants to ressurect their sound and carry on. Lambert’s busy promoting his new album “Trespassing” that comes out next month but Rolling Stone reveals he’s set to tour with Queen in the summer.
“The intention is to pay tribute to Freddie and the band by singing some great songs. It’s to keep the music alive for the fans and give it an energy that Freddie would’ve been proud of,” Adam tells reporters.
I doubt anybody is proud that the band constantly tries to replace Freddie. Sometimes you just got to give up and start something new.
While we are keeping our ear to the ground for Lana Del Rey’s debut album, “Born to Die” and the full length from Azealia Banks, there are some artists we really wish would quit while they’re ahead.
As posted on Cracked, here are the 7 least anticipated albums of 2012.
7. Insane Clown Posse – “The Might Death Pop!”

6. Scorpion – “Comeback”

5. Adam Lambert – “Trespassing”

4. Willow Smith – “Willow: You Think You Know Me”

3. Bret Michaels – “Get Your Rock On”

2. Marilyn Manson – “Born Villian”

1. Scott Stapp – “Somewhere in the Middle of Love and Lust”

As we reported last week, Adam Lambert had a huge fight with his Finish boyfriend, and both of them got arrested after they were fighting in the street. Luckily, it seems like the couple have kissed and made up.
The couple returned back to LA yesterday to celebrate Christmas. TMZ’s crew caught up with the couple, but they weren’t too interested in speaking. They do blame what happened on drinking too much alcohol. However, as you can see in the pic above, it looks like everything has been smoothed over, and the couple is back in love.

Adam Lambert spent some time in a Finland jail after getting into a brawl with his boyfriend outside of a bar, reports TMZ.
The two lovers initially started fighting in the Helsinki bar, when eventually they took the fight out to the street. Lambert’s boyfriend is Finnish Big Brother star Sauli Koskinen. Adam apparently also got physical with people who tried to break up the fight.
Both guys were taken to the police station, questioned and eventually released.
Afterward, Koskinen blogged about the incident saying, “Publicity is not easy, but also celebrities are just human. Love is not easy either, but it lasts forever!”
This is an interesting take on domestic violence. Normally when it’s a man and a woman in a dispute, someone is charged. But what happens when it’s a man and a man? Apparently nothing happens.
Follow the 8.9 scale earthquake that hit Japan Friday morning, there has been an outpour of support via Twitter and other social networking sites from everyone and celebrities have sent their condolences and best wishes. The photographer that Adam Lambert allegedly roughed up in Miami on Thursday has filed a police report that accuses Lambert of misdemeanour battery, reports PerezHilton.com.
According to the report, the singer allegedly took hold of the photographer’s backpack “where the camera was placed” and “wrestled [the photographer] to the ground forcefully.”
Although the report that was filed states that the photographer didn’t receive any “bruises or lacerations,” if Lambert is prosecuted, he faces some pretty hard penalties. Worst case scenario, he faces a $1,000 fine and up to a year in jail.
Lambert responded to the claims on his Twitter account saying, “Battery? Nope. I attempted to grab a camera, no punches were thrown and no one was on the ground…. It was literally harmless. If embarrassment is a crime- thats all I’m guilty of.”
“American Idol” runner up Adam Lambert was lounging around a Miami Beach Thursday when he suddenly had an altercation with a photog, reports PopEater.
“Eeew paparazzi killed my peaceful afternoon on the beach!” the singer, 28, told his Twitter followers Thursday. “They’re real good at provoking, but there ain’t any pics or video of the bs they spew out.”
Earlier in the day, Lambert was seen giving peace signs while lounging at the beach in his sunglasses and straw hat, but that quickly turned to assaulting the photographer. Pictures on PopEater show the singer slapping, grabbing, and basically mounting the photographer.
“Hahha the photos are hilarious!!! LOL please everyone forgive me for that hat,” he said on Twitter. “I was attempting a disguise — clearly failed.”
Randy Jackson is a man who tells it like it is. So when he says that Adam Lambert is a great mentor for the newest contestants on “American Idol,” we tend to believe him.
During a recent interview with MTV News, Jackson explained his feelings. “You know, I think he’s gonna be really great because he knows, first and foremost, what they’re going through [as contestants] and what the feelings are and what’s happening and what’s gonna happen,” he explained. “So he’s going to be one of the best mentors, I think, all season.”
Adam will appear on tonight’s episode as a mentor, and on Wednesday night he returns to perform “Whataya Want From Me” from his debut album.
Adam Lambert is heading back to his old stomping ground next week as a mentor on “American Idol.”
EW.com reports that a spokesperson for 19 Entertainment has confirmed Lambert’s participation next week. On the upcoming episode Adam will be advising season 9’s Top 8 contestants, and then perform his current single “Whattaya Want From Me” on the April 14 results-show telecast.
Lambert’s appearance next week should certainly help “Idol” which has been struggling to find its mojo this season. Bringing a veteran and awesome performer like Lambert will definitely add some spice.
Oh no she di-in’t. Well, she did. But Adam Lambert had something to say about it.
The “American Idol” alum ripped one of his own fans yesterday, in the middle of a performance, after the girl was caught chatting away on her cellphone while the star was trying to sing, reports TMZ.
Lambert was performing a song for iheartradio in New York when he caught the girl talking. He stopped mid-song and said, “Can you get off you’re phone?! You’re yelling into it … wait, sorry, we’re going to start over.”
