Nicole Westbrook performed her truly atrocious, over-produced song “It’s Thanksgiving” on Access Hollywood, gaining her another 15 2:30 minutes of anti-fame. While I don’t completely understand parents paying for their bratty kids to create silly, over-priced tracks by ARK Music, I’m not going to argue against it — do what you do. However, singing the song live for a few minutes of fame seems to send the message that you really don’t need talent to get a bit of attention.
Going on Access Hollywood is OBVS something a seventh grader would get excited about but something about the whole thing bothers me. Ultimately Nicole and ARK alum Rebecca Black are just having a bit of fun but the one really cashing in is Patrice Wilson, the mastermind behind it who knows he can capitalize off people making fun of these cheesy videos.

Simon Cowell did One Direction fans a total solid by telling Demi Lovato to keep her hands of Niall Horan, because 1) he’s “pure” and 2) he’s obviously OURS. I mean, the two would be adorable together but we’re still holding out for our chance with the Irish member of One Direction because it will happen, right? RIGHT?
While Demi assures him in this X-Factor promo that she’s not dating anyone for an entire year, Simon doesn’t seem to believe her.
Niall and Demi reignited rumors that they’re romantically involved, when they were spotted after this year’s VMAs at Harry Morton’s Pink Taco in Century City. Just before the awards show he told Access Hollywood that Lovato is his celebrity crush. This is the second time the pair have had to dodge rumors since they were rumored to be involved at the beginning of summer.
While we’d hate to see Niall go off the market, Demi and him see like a good match!

Taylor Swift and B.o.B’s new video for “Both of Us” captures them in a sweaty, southern paradise, portraying all aspects of humanity.
“This is bigger than just B.o.B and Taylor Swift, this is about all walks of life,” says B.o.B.
While the video certainly looks airy and romantic Swift and B.o.B describe how sweltering the set actually is and how they basically save each other’s LIVES when monstrous fuzzy spiders and mosquitoes attack (shudder).
Meanwhile, Taylor pretty much captivates the entire crew as they film her playing with cute dogs, while a grown man softly blows dandelion seeds into the wind. I’m loving her style in this video which is a mesh of breezy country skirts with vintage tops.

Not long after it was announced that Lindsay Lohan will host an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live, there are reports that she’ll play classy dame Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime movie.
“Liz and Dick” will focus on Taylor’s up and down marriages to actor Richard Burton. I wasn’t sure what to think of the project at first but if it’s done properly it could be the probation diva’s comeback role. The 25-year-old is a fine actress, it’s just her private life and brief jail stints that have caused colleagues to call her unprofessional.
As always, there’s a catch. Access Hollywood reports she’ll only be allowed to take part in the movie if she obeys the judge’s orders relating to her 2007 conviction for driving under the influence.

The Hills cast member Heidi Montag refused to come out of her hotel room and take final season photos with the rest of the group, reports MSNBC Entertainment.
Access Hollywood was on the set of the photo shoot that included stars such as Adrina Patridge, Kristin Cavallari and Brody Jenner. Apparently Montag’s rep told Access Hollywood that the reason she wouldn’t come out of her room was because she had mono and could not talk. However, the illness was a surprise to everyone else.
“Heidi’s not here and I don’t know why,” Patridge told Access Hollywood. “I honestly don’t. We’re all shooting together and I think she’s shooting later… So I really don’t know why she’s not with us.” Patridge said that Montag seemed fine a few days before the photo shoot.
“Kristin and I just filmed with her, probably four days ago and everything seemed fine,” she added. “But, I don’t know.”
Move over, rehab. Courtney Love has credited an unlikely man with keeping her clean: Orlando Bloom.
Love told “Access Hollywood” that Bloom introduced her to the Buddhist lifestyle that finally changed her ways.
“We chant every day,” Love said. “The 12-step programme demands that you have a spiritual practice that you do daily.
“I don’t mind talking about it because it has changed my entire life, changed everything – restructured my body, restructured my physicality. Truly I can, not all the time, but I can take joy at really shitty situations.”
True to her name, Love said she loves Bloom for his influence, and that he “doesn’t mind being outed as a Buddhist.”
Access Hollywood hosts Nancy O’Dell and Maria Menounos can’t stand each other… if you believe the tabloids.
The catfight between the two beauties began when Nancy O’Dell, accused Maria Menounos, of wanting to be a star and disregarding her journalism career. Along with that, O’Dell is furious that Menounos gets special treatment, days off to purse other projects, and more time on the air.
However, Menounos sees things differently. She believes O’Dell is simply jealous of her youth and beauty.
“It’s a real catfight. They refuse to work together and hate being in the same room with each other. Makeup and hair staffers have to schedule the times far apart!” said a source, reports Star Magazine.
With the feud going on, O’Dell is starting to look into her other options and opportunities.
“She knows her high value and she’s tired of having to fight for her own show. There’s interest in her from other shows and she feels the time may be right to pursue those options,” said a source.
Both ladies have appeared in successful projects outside of Access Hollywood. O’Dell has hosted a few Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants. She also appeared in movies and television shows such as “Scream” and “Charmed.” Menounos was a host for Access Hollywood’s rival Entertainment Tonight. She also appeared in films and television shows such as “The Fantastic Four” and “Without A Trace.” In addition, she is a spokeswoman for Pantene products.
