Tonight’s the premiere of Pretty Little Liars, season three. FINALLY. The date has been marked on my very own Pretty Little Liars calendar since the end of season two. So to all my friends, if you continuously bug me tonight, be prepared to die because I’m obvs be sitting on the couch, wearing my I love Mr. Fitz crop top and watching the PLL marathon on ABC.
Yes, I know I have fangirl problems to the extreme but really who can blame me? Two words: Ian Harding. Here, I will give you a second to look him up… See told you he is HOT!
Ian isn’t the only reason why you should watch the premiere of PLL. Here are five more:
1) A new “A”
According to ABC Family we’ll be introduced to a new ‘A, who will use Aria’s past mistakes to taunt her. I’m a little excited to see what ‘A’ has in store for Aria especially after watching the season three promo, which shows Aria, trapped in a bathroom stall screaming for her life. My one concern is that Ezra will be caught up in this mess and I CANNOT have anything happen to him. My fangirl heart could not take that!
2) Ali’s grave is robbed? Read more…
Beyonce’s had a great year and 2012 holds nothing but good things for this hit-maker.
The mom-to-be recently taped an exclusive interview with Katie Couric for ABC’s 20/20. Just Jarred says Beyonce will discuss every little detail from her career to her much talked about pregnancy.
So, if you’re a big fan of Queen B, now’s your chance to dig up the dirt on whether or not she’s picked a baby name or when her next album will come out or if she’ll continue to design clothes with House of Dereon.
The informative interview will air this Friday, December 2 on ABC. Check your local listings.
For all you Americans, come November 24 you’ll have one Very Gaga Thanksgiving.
The flamboyant singer will host a 90 minute Thanksgiving special airing on ABC. Do you think one of her dozens of costume changes includes a roasted turkey?
The singer will be interviewed by veteran anchor Katie Couric and will also perform eight songs, including her new single Marry the Night, infront of a small audience, MTV reports. A world renowned chef will also appear on the show to share holiday recipes. It seems like this television special will have something for everybody.
Most divorced couples stay far, far away from each other. Courtney Cox and her ex, David Arquette are doing the complete opposite.
The couple recently separated after 11 years of marriage when rumours of David’s infidelity made headlines. The two have a daughter, Coco, who is now 7. To prove to Coco and everyone else they can still be model parents, they managed to stay friendly and respectful.
David is currently a contestant on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and Courtney has been seen in the audience cheering him on. Cute! I can’t list that many broken-up couples that can still manage to be in the same room together, let alone go on to produce comedy shows.
The pair have sold a sitcom to NBC, according to the Hollywood Reporter. It’s called Ten Years and much like their own lives, it’s the telling of a modern couple going through marital problems. But the work doesn’t stop there!
They’re also in talks to sell another sitcom, Skinny Girl, to ABC. This show follows the life of a former fat girl who’s trying to maintain her weight while working at a greasy diner. It doesn’t sound as interesting or intelligent than Ten Years but if the two manage to sell both sitcoms to both networks, we can expect them to stay side by side for a long time. Maybe even rekindle lost love, later down the road. It’s all about staying together for the kids, right?
Ashley Tisdale has landed a sitcom deal with ABC. Ashley will star in the series called Under Construction.
Deadline reports the show is about a young woman whose independence is put on hold when she is forced to move back home while her father renovates her recently purchased “money pit” along with her life.
Ashley’s production company, Blondie Girl Productions, will be producing the show.
ABC has made a formal apology regarding the Nicki Minaj tit slip incident this morning on Good Morning America. Viewers launched complaints regarding the incident, which caused ABC to apology.
“Although we had a five-second delay in place for the Nicki Minaj concert on GMA, the live East Coast feed of the concert regrettably included certain fleeting images of the performer that were taken out of later feeds of the broadcast in other time zones. We are sorry that this occurred,” ABC said in its statement.
Big deal! Her tit popped out. WOW! We want to know who the people are who complained about this. Seriously, what nerd has that much free time on their hands?
Excuse the obscure nature of this post, but in dramatic news, Oprah Winfrey is assuring the world she is not a lesbian to put an end to any swirling rumours about her and longtime gal-pal Gayle King. I’m “not even kind of a lesbian,” the TV host tells Barbara Walters in an ABC interview.
Oprah also comments on her longtime partner since 1986, American businessman Stedman Graham, and how the two are still happily together. While Graham is rarely mentioned, his union with Oprah is widely known.
The Walters-Winfrey special is scheduled to air this Thursday night on ABC, where hopefully many fascinating tidbits are revealed. Perhaps she will admit that one of “Oprah’s Favourite Things” is actually only one of her second favourite things. I’m lookin at you Sarabeth’s Kitchen Jam. Your spreadability was less than ideal.
Sarah Palin was at “Dancing With The Stars” last night showing support for her daughter Bristol, but was surprised by the audience reaction.
“There’s booing in the ballroom,” host Brooke Burke said right before Palin appeared on the live show. “We don’t know why.”
According to E! Online, there was a misunderstanding regarding the booing. “The booing heard was a direct response from the audience to Jennifer [Grey] and Derek [Hough]‘s scores which were perceived as relatively low for a dance that received a standing ovation,” DWTS executive producer Conrad Green tells E! Online.
Understandably Sarah looked quite stunned when she heard the booing. She plans to attend the show again soon.
Our boy Levi Johnston has a habit of popping up in places where the Palins don’t want him. Bristol Palin is not taking any chances with her new gig on “Dancing With The Stars,” and is taking steps to ensure Levi is kept out of the audience.
“The last thing in the world Bristol wants is to look up from her cha-cha-cha and see his big goofy grin looking at her,” a family friend tells PopEater. “This is her time to shine and she doesn’t want him trying to steal her spotlight.”
“I wouldn’t put it past him to try and sneak into a taping,” an insider tells PopEater. “The only person that loves the press more than the Palins is Levi himself.”
Security apparently will be very tight on the set so Levi is certainly going to have a tough time raiding the studio.
President Barack Obama appeared on “The View” today where he was quizzed on a variety of topics, including pop culture.
Quizzed by Joy Behar in a “lightening” round, Obama was asked if he knew if Lohan is in jail. “I actually know that, yes,” the President responded.
However, Obama is not a fan of “Jersey Shore” it turns out. “Should Snooki run as mayor of Wasilla?” Behar asked. Obama, laughing, responded, “I gotta admit, I don’t know who Snooki is.”
Obama also discussed that he was up to date on the legal problems of Lindsay Lohan, but did not offer any views about Mel Gibson and whether he needs anger management.
“I … I …,” the President stuttered and then joked, “Let me answer the Afghanistan question!” He informed the panel he “hadn’t seen the tapes.”
Daytime TV will make history on Tuesday with President Barack Obama appearing as a guest on ABC’s “The View.”
PopEater reports this is a landmark event as its the first time a sitting U.S. President has appeared on a daytime talk show. Barbara Walters announced that the topics will include jobs, the economy, the Gulf oil spill and family life inside the White House.
The last time Obama appeared on the show was in March 2008 as a U.S. Senator. Obama will be interviewed by Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd.
Filipino pop sensation Charice will be getting some help from an anti-aging procedure in order to look youthful for her upcoming role in “Glee.”
PopEater reports that Charice will be undergoing this procedure to make her “naturally round face” more narrow, celebrity cosmetic surgeon Vicki Belo told ABS-CBN television.
In a recent interview, Charice said “All people will be anticipating how will Charice look? Is she good enough to pit against Rachel Berry? So of course there is tremendous pressure.”
She starts filming for the series at the end of this month. And in case you missed our interview with Charice, see below!
Not everyone is happy about Kate Gosselin’s return to “Dancing With the Stars” on May 24 or 25, besides Jon Gosselin.
PopEater reports that sources tell them fellow competitors on the reality show are not looking forward to seeing the reality Mom.
“Everyone, especially Kate’s old dancing partner Tony, are dreading the return of Gosselin to the dance floor,” an insider tells PopEater. “Kate comes with a lot of drama. She’s the only celebrity who insisted on having a bodyguard with her at all times and put the costume department through hell each week. She tortured Tony and you don’t even want to know what she put the show’s hairdressers through! The day Kate was voted off, everyone was celebrating backstage. It’s been a lot less toxic without her.”
With out a doubt, ABC will be happy to see Gosselin return to the show. Like her or not the lady has a lot of star power, and with star power comes great ratings.
However this isn’t the first we have heard problems about Kate Gosselin on set. Let’s not forget Jon Gosselin and his issues. Again this is only further evidence the guy has a point for cheating and divorcing Kate.
“Glee” fans went insane for this week’s Madonna inspired episode. And it looks like another one is in the works.
PerezHilton reports that the last episode attracted over 13 million viewers. Ryan Murphy, the series creator, has said he wants to make another Madonna episode happen. “Madonna and her people are into it and want it to happen.”
The episode would include six more Madonna tunes and would air next season.
Good news “Lost” fans! Although many of you are having problems dealing with the finale of the series on May 23, there are some big plans in the works to say goodbye.
Executive Producer Carlton Cuse sent a tweet last week that ”Lost Live: The Final Celebration,” will take place at UCLA’s Royce Hall on May 13.
Variety reports that ABC hasn’t officially announced any plans for the event, but according to Cuse, the event will feature a live orchestra — conducted by Oscar winner Michael Giacchino (who serves as “Lost’s” composer) — performing music from the show.
Additionally during final broadcast on the 23rd, ABC will be dedicating five hours of programming to the show. The night will include a two hour retrospective, the two-hour episode, and then a special all “Lost” episode of Jimmy Kimmelat midnight.
As if we haven’t seen enough Justin Bieber, here is one more opportunity to see the pop sensation. The teen idol will be performing live on ABC’s The View today (Monday March 22nd) and also Tuesday (March 23)!
Expect girls in the audience to collapse in excitement as Bieber performs tracks from his latest album “My World 2.0.” Although we don’t know what he will be singing or performing, expect the music prodigy to perform an awesome show as always!
For those reality fans that are missing Paula Abdul, you may be in luck. Entertainment Weekly reports that the singer maybe the next host of a new version of “Star Search.”
ABC is bringing back an updated version of the 80′s reality competition show and they want Abdul to be the face. ABC has been pushing Paula to come to the network for a while, offering her a gig on “Dancing with the Stars,” which she rejected.
TMZ will reports that the next season of “Dancing With The Stars” will not include Paula Abdul.
Sources tell TMZ that the American Idol judge has decided against participating despite the reported $1,000,000 ABC offered her.
James Mitchell, who starred on the ABC soap opera All My Children for almost 30 years, has died, reports CBC. He was 89.
Mitchell, who suffered from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease died Friday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles.
He began his 300-episode run on All My Childrenin 1979, and was a regular until 2008. He returned to Pine Valley for a 40th anniversary episode earlier this month.
The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation claims ABC is treating Adam Lambert with a double standard, reports E! News.
Following the former American Idol contestant’s controversial performance at the American Music Awards, the network announced it was cancelling three upcoming performances by Lambert. He will not appear as scheduled on Jimmy Kimmel Live or Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin’ Eve because the network claims his performance at the American Music Awards differed greatly from what was rehearsed. However, Lambert will be performing on The View and will be named one of Barbara Walters’ 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009.
