While silly cat videos and epic fails have their LOL moments, many videos on the internet have a whole other side that’s magical and inspiring. Imagine a wakeboarder doing a flawless midair jump in slow motion with the soft waves rolling behind him. Dancers strapped in LED lights doing parkour through a night market. Two adorable twin babies nodding their heads to their dad’s guitar. This compilation mashes together the very best of the internet from 2012 and it makes me want to take up some extreme sport and be all badass.
Like those two twin baby’s bobbing their head’s to their dad’s guitar, this video will give you that warm and fuzzy feeling inside. Seventeen-month-old Ethan ran onstage and started dancing when his dad Coffey Anderson was performing at a NYE event in Texas. He stole the show!!
His mom let him go on stage as he showed of his pro moves. Since loading the video on YouTube under coffeysouthernman, the family has been contacted by Fox, NBC, Glenn Beck and many others.

2012 was a year filled with great music. From viral videos to new artists to the explosion of EDM, there was no shortage of entertainment. We’ve compiled a handy list of the 25 best songs of the year for your listening pleasure.
25. “Payphone” – Maroon 5 ft. Wiz Khalifa
Maroon 5’s “Payphone” was catchy enough to get stuck in your head for days, featured mega-popular rapper Wiz Khalifa, and was an anthem for every young girl who was sick of having her heart broken. “One more stupid love song, I’ll be sick,” sang frontman Adam Levine. Me too, Adam…me too.
24. “HYFR” – Drake ft. Lil’ Wayne.
In case some of you out there still didn’t get it, HYFR stands for “Hell Yeah, F**kin’ Right.” It’s a pretty explicit song, but Drake’s swagger shines in all its glory with Lil’ Wayne’s signature drawl backing him up.
Six-year-old Maximus Thor is back with another epic video, featuring him destroying an evil, recycled, cardboard robot. In the new video, which was posted on Jan. 2, Maximus’ father is overtaken by Herobrine, the Minecraft icon and his son swears vengeance.
Maximus’ dad Benjamin Barack writes grown up scripts with a kiddy-twist and has his son act out the scenes. Then he dubs over his son’s voice to make it sound like he’s some 20-something-year-old badass bro. Previously, we saw Maximus ”grub up” before his playdate with Samantha but feels disrespected when the McDonad’s employee talks to Banjo (his dad) instead of Maximus.

When it comes to dating, we spend most of our time thinking about the etiquette of first dates and first kisses. With all that thinking, we rarely get around to the etiquette of holding hands — it’s a lost art. Travel-adventure mini-series followthefoot challenged viewers to think more about holding hands. In their new video “The Forgotten Etiquette of Holding Hands” they explore everything from hand holding positions to the history of interlacing fingers.
What’s your favourite position?

Ed Bassmaster is a pranking professional but I don’t think I’ve ever laughed THIS hard at his tomfoolery. The prankster donned a long mushroom cut wig and went up to various strangers in NYC. Once he had their attention, he did a quick swoosh with his hair (he had to get it out of his eyes so you could revel in his full expression) then he shook his head and did the old “PSH.”
Most of the strangers laughed or looked slightly offended and ignored him. Beware though, if you “PSH” the wrong person there could be trouble!! Previously, he has pranked people by taking photos with celebrity doppelgängers and ordering brains at drive-throughs.

BadLipReading added a whole new element of hilarity to their newest reading by dubbing over their victim’s lyrics with foreign languages. This round, they chose to dub over One Direction’s music video “Gotta Be You,” turning it into a movie trailer for Shadow Pico. The hypothetical art house film seems to be about cults, brotherhood and spilling blood.
Previously, they took on The Hunger Games and the presidential debate. Don’t miss their former lip reading of Twilight. Would you see Shadow Pico?

Wiz Khalifa told us about the weirdest sh*t he did on his newest album. It involved getting drunk and experimenting with volumes. “That might sound kinda trippy and sh*t but we did it,” he said “and it came out really awesome.” ANDPOP‘s Jordan Bortolotti spoke to the rapper about experimenting with drugs while recording and the state of rap.
“I want it to really be about the music and the swag and about everything that goes into the project,” he said about his newest album, O.N.I.F.C. “You gotta see what’s going on and not only be able to move forward but be able to take from past inspirations — like listening to albums that when I first got CD players, these were the albums I was going and buying. I’m at that point in my career when I really gotta define who I am and how long I’m gonna be here and those artists did that with those albums.”
This pet pheasant lives in Bigfork Montana on The Sundance Ranch and follows his owner’s car whenever he leaves. He says: “Yes he does come back after his flight, he would always fly or chase my car when I tried to leave. Once he even landed on the roof and rose out to the highway before I brought him back home.”
Go home Peter, you’re drunk!
Just to point it out, most of the cats in this video compilation are complete sh*t disturbers before they morph into the proverbial “scaredy cat.” It serves them right. The compilation was created by YouTube mihaifrancu, and features a bunch of cowardly kittens.

Every week this year, newscaster Bob Herzog graced viewers with an absurd tradition on Good Morning Cincinnati by dancing… for reasons no one really understands. Here’s part one of the Dance Party Friday Year in Review, which includes, among other things, tributes to both the Grammy Awards and the Oscars and the “Rocket Man” parody affectionately dubbed “Traffic Man.”

As someone who basically lives at the movie theatre, this year certainly didn’t disappoint me in terms of movies. From The Hunger Games to The Amazing Spiderman to The Avengers, plenty of film franchises racked up some serious cash at the box office.
While the Academy favours artistic movies over franchises, I personally think some of these films are worthy of Oscar nominations because they are SO GOOD.
Here are five movies I highly suggest you to watch as soon as you can.
The Avengers
From the start, this film had plenty of potential. Having separate films surrounding the main characters, such as Thor, Iron Man and Captain America, what could be more awesome than putting all of them together to fight the evils of Loki?
Unlike the disappointment that was Fantastic Four, this film had everything going for it. From the pacing and the action, to the chemistry between the characters and Robert Downey Jr.’s cool humour, Joss Whedon couldn’t have been a better director/writer for this movie.
I’m saying this as someone who doesn’t normally read comic books (tragic, I know). But considering how this film kept me on my toes from beginning to end, The Avengers could arguably be one of the year’s best movies.
Remember when you were a kid and got a present you REALLY wanted? For me, it was my Furby. My dad said he waited in line for an hour with other disgruntled parents, just like that movie Jingle All The Way. For Reese, it was a new game. It was too much for him to take and he got overwhelmed with tears of joy. What was your favourite Christmas present as a kid?
My favourite part is when they say “Meh” because you can tell the lyrics have a very deep meaning. Glove and Boots put together this hilarious “Carol of the Mehs” to wish you a very Merry Christmas.
