When it comes to cool viral videos you can always count on Lego, and in this latest video it’s all about “Bond. James Bond.” (Sorry. I had to.)
Recreating the opening scene to Casino Royale, CocoSnowBall shows us how the scene would look if it was made out of Lego pieces, and the end result is pretty awesome. Using stop-motion animation, the video opens up just like the live sequence, with a car pulling up to a dark and sketchy building in Prague and 007 in a confrontation that leads up to an action-packed scene.
What’s great about the video, aside from the Lego factor, is that they chose to use the actual dialogue from the movie rather than dubbing in the voices themselves. This video deserves major points for creativity.
Adele’s new track “Skyfall” for the latest 007 installment of the same name was supposed to be released at precisely 7:07 last night (Oct. 4) but apparently the Internet didn’t feel like being poetic and the song ended up leaking early, as anticipated songs are wont to do.
The track, co-written and produced by Adele’s frequent collaborator Paul Epworth, is powered by Adele’s beautiful voice and her incredible vocal range. Adele even overpowers the 77-piece orchestra, which was arranged by Epworth and Emmy-nominated film and TV composer J.A.C. Redford.
The new single is the first since her last album, 21, so we’re pretty stoked. I can confidently say I’m putting this in the 007 Soundtrack Hall of Fame. I think everyone else agrees — it’s already number one on iTunes.

According to PEOPLE, hunky British actor, Daniel Craig will be reprising his role as the seminal spy, James Bond.
This will mark the third time that Craig has played the womanizing, cold blooded Bond. The 23rd film in the enormous franchise is set to be released in November of 2012, quite a ways away.
Lately reports have surfaced that previous Bond girl, Rachel Weisz left her former husband, Darren Aronofsky, for a little DCraig action. However, she will not be playing a bond babe again. So who could be the next Bond girl? Could it be Miley Cyrus? She is starring in her own spy film soon. It’s a pressing question for us to ponder for the next year and a half.
While James Bond usually ends up on top, he may be on the road to suffering.
As perezhilton.com reports, 007 may be in for some trouble now that MGM Studios are hovering near bankruptcy. Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli confirmed that the production timeline for the newest James Bond movie was “up in the air.”
The first draft of the script was completed by screenwriter Peter Morgan in October, but no date has yet been set for filming. Speculation suggests that they could be buying time until MGM is purchased by another studio. MGM has stated that Bond 23 is not on hold as they are still working on script revisions.
Bond. Absent Bond.
