Drake has unveiled a $5,000 winter jacket. Why is it 5 grand? Well it is made with only the finest materials for winter wear.

Exclaim reports the jacket includes: buffalo leather, goose down, a silk-lined interior, a removable fox fur trim and 24-karat gold plated hardware. Yes, we said gold! The jacket was made in partnership with Canada Goose.

$5,000 for a winter jacket is insane. And really, do you want a gold plated jacket when you are walking around in the slush?

Does Nelly Owe Ashanti $500,000?

Well that’s what one tipster is claiming. A source close to Ashanti is saying Nelly owes her $500,000. Nelly and Ashanti were on and off in a relationship for years.

The source told MediaTakeOut, “It’s not fair. Nelly has [over the course of their relationship] borrowed more than $500K from Ashanti. It was not gifts either, he promised to pay it all back.”

The tipster continued, “But Ashanti hasn’t seen one penny. He bought her a couple of dresses, and took her on some trips, but what about a check . . . He really needs to give her back her money.”

Granted, we don’t know Nelly very well, but we did interview him once. To this day, he is one of the nicest guys we ever met. So we have no proof that the tipster is wrong, but we certainly find it surprising.

Topcuts is looking pretty good right now. A British newspaper is reporting Rihanna spends $22,400 a week on her hair!

Rihanna has Hollywood stylist Ursula Stephen or retainer, which costs $3,700 per day.

A source tells the publication, “Rihanna likes to pioneer new styles but it’s costing her a fortune. She makes several public appearances a week, and the cost soon stacks up. Ursula is a close confidante and they are together all the time.”

That’s all part of the Rihanna secret sauce!

Corey Haim Funeral Is Paid

Although there was some initial concerns that there wouldn’t be enough money for Corey Haim’s funeral, a last minute savior has stepped into help.

TMZ has learned that the memorabilia company auctioning off his belongings will be covering Corey’s funeral expenses. Starifacts has offered $20,000 from the sale of his belongings which will be used for his funeral. Some of the major expenses include a headstone, transporting his body back to his hometown of Toronto, and other related costs.

The funeral is expected to take place next week.

Wow, MTV’s “Jersey Shore” just keeps on getting dumber and more outrageous. And the sad part is we are only encouraging it by paying for it. TMZ is reporting that Snooki is being paid $10,000 to show up to Anna Nicole’s death site in Florida tonight where she will be hosting a “Fist Pumping Competition” at a club called Opium. No we are not kidding. Snooki is being paid to host a “Fist Pumping Competition.”

Enough said.

Former Flight Attendant Suing Oprah

Corrine Gehrls, a former flight attendant on Oprah Winfrey’s private jet, claims she was fired in July after two other flight attendants falsely told Winfrey she had “inappropriate intimate behaviour” aboard a flight, reports TMZ. The man alleged to be involved with Gehrls, the chief pilot, was also let go as a result of the incident.

Gehrls is now suing Winfrey’s company, Harpo Productions, as well as the two flight attendants who allegedly lied – one of whom is the daughter of Winfrey’s best friend, Gayle King – for damages in excess of $75,000.

Kate Gosselin Speaks Out on Today

Kate Gosselin of Jon and Kate Plus Eight appeared on Today, fighting back tears as she explained she can no longer pay her bills after her soon-to-be ex-husband, Jon, took $230,000 from their joint bank account, reports TMZ.

“You’ve left your children and their mother unable to pay for the roof over their head,” she said. “It’s unacceptable.”

Jon has claimed the children no longer want to do the reality show, but Kate said there was “wailing and sobbing” when she told them production had been stopped.

Kate’s lawyers are heading to court to demand Jon return the money.

Further to andPOP’s story earlier today in regards to reports that Levi Johnston would pose nude for the right price, andPOP has been sent a press release from StraightCollegeMen.com. The release has indicated that StraightCollegeMen.com has offered Johnston $25,000 to appear in a solo video for its website. Justin Clouse, owner of StraightCollegeMen.com, felt that Johnston would be perfect for the site.

“When I heard him say that he’d consider posing nude for enough money, I knew we had to make a tangible offer. $25,000 is a lot of money for an hour of his time, but I’ve been wanting to add a celebrity to StraightCollegeMen.com’s roster for a long time,” Clouse continued.

‘Octomom’ Gets TV Show

Nadya Suleman, who gave birth to the world’s longest-surviving set of octuplets in January, has signed a deal for a reality television show, reports CBC. Suleman will receive $250,000 for all 14 of her children to appear on the show – about $250 a day, per child. The contract spreads the money over three years of shooting.

Instead of shooting Suleman, 33, and her family on a daily basis, the show will only include milestones such as birthdays and other special events.

“They came up with this idea, presented to her and she liked it because she’ll get to use a camera to do some of the filming herself,” said her lawyer, Jeff Czech.

The show will begin shooting Sept. 1, and is being produced by Netherlands-based company Eyeworks, which was behind The Biggest Loser and Breaking Bonaduce.

California law dictates 15 percent of each child’s income must be placed in a trust fund made available to them on their eighteenth birthday.
