UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar is very ill, reports TMZ. UFC president Dana White said he likely has an intestinal disorder that will require major surgery.

Lesnar was forced to cancel a fight last week after he was diagnosed with mono. However, White says his current condition is not mono, nor is it HIV or cancer.

“There’s a possibility Lesnar will never fight again,” said White.

Joe Jackson Teams Up With Cristiano Ronaldo

Michael Jackson’s father is planning to sell grills that look like soccer balls during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, reports TMZ. And soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo will be endorsing the Game On Products merchandise.

The two will shoot TV, magazine and Internet advertisements for the “Goalie Grill,” in early December.

A-Rod Avoids Ticket

David Beckham Replaced As Underwear Model

Move over, David Beckham, there’s a new soccer hottie in town.

Cristiano Ronaldo, 24, who plays for Real Madrid and the Portuguese national team, is replacing Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder Beckham, 34, as the face of Emporio Armani men’s underwear, reports E! News.

Michael Phelps Revealed to be Drinking Before Accident

American Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps admitted to police he had a beer an hour and 15 minutes before he was involved in a car accident last Thursday in Maryland, reports Perez Hilton. Police, however, have ruled out alcohol as the cause of the collision, saying Phelps showed “no signsof alcohol impairment.” They deemed sobriety tests unnecessary at the scene of the accident.

The other driver, Amanda E. Virkus, caused the accident by running a red light.

Phelps and the two passengers in his Cadillac Escalade walked away from the crash uninjured.

The swimmer has been issued a citation by police, as he was driving with an invalid license at the time of the incident. He will not be required to pay a fine, but must appear in court to explain why he does not have a valid driver’s license.

Tiger Wood’s Olympic Dreams

Tiger Woods told the executive committee of the Olympic program he would play in the 2016 Summer Olympic Games if golf was made an Olympic sport, Perez Hilton reports.

“I’ve said there is no singular decision or singular program that can globalize the game of golf like a nod from the IOC to join the Olympic Games,” said PGA of America CEO Joe Steranka. “We’re very encouraged by today and we’re proud of the support we’ve received.”

Those behind the suggested program change propose featuring a 72-hole stroke-play competition with 60 players for men and women.

“You look at the Olympics last year, and you see Michael Phelps is going for the gold medal and LeBron James is there watching him and all of the basketball players,” said Irish player Rory McIlroy. “It would be great to be part of a team like that.”

The International Olympic Committee plans to meet to further consider the bid on October 9. The host of the 2016 games will be announced October 2 at the 13th Olympic Congress in Copenhagen, Denmark. The cities bidding for the chance to host are Chicago, Tokyo, Madrid and Rio de Janeiro.

Michael Vick’s Return to the NFL

NFL Quarterback Michael Vick has been conditionally reinstated into the NFL following a 20 month stint in prison for a highly publicized dogfight scandal, reports Perez Hilton.

Vick, who is currently a free agent, may attend preseason practices, workouts and meetings. If he is signed by a team, he will be permitted to play in the final two preseason games.

He may participate in all team activities except for games once the regular football season begins, and may be back on the field for games as early as October.

Kendra and Hank Expecting a Boy?

E! Online reports Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett hinted that they’re expecting a boy as they shopped in the boy’s section of a West Hollywood baby store last week.

“We have a young David Beckham inside of me right now,” said Wilkinson, the star of reality show Kendra. “He just started kicking – I’m sorry - he or she just started kicking about three days ago.”

The former Playboy model and star of The Girls Next Door is due Christmas day. She and Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Baskett wed June 27.

Steelers’ Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger Sued for Sexual Assault

Ben Roethlisberger, quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, has been sued by Andrea McNulty for allegedly sexually assaulting her in July 2008, reports TMZ. The two met when McNulty worked at Harrah’s in Lake Tahoe, where Roethlisberger stayed several times for golf tournaments. McNulty claims the NFL player lured her back to his hotel room where he forced her to have sex with him. He was in Nevada at the time for a celebrity golf tournament, and sources close to the 2009 Superbowl champion say the two did have a sexual relationship at the time, but it was purely consensual.

She has filed a civil lawsuit in Washoe County, Nevada, for sexual assault and battery, false imprisonment and infliction of emotional distress.

Roethlisberger denies the allegations. His lawyer said, “The timing of the lawsuit and the absence of a criminal complaint and a criminal investigation are the most compelling evidence of the absence of any criminal conduct.”

NFL Drafts K’naan Tune For Commercial

Kanye West may be soundtracking the NBA’s playoffs campaign, but the NFL has Canadian hip-hopper K’naan in its corner.

“Dreamer,” a track from K’naan’s recently-released ”Troubadour,” is being used in a 2009 NFL draft commercial, which also features an appearance by the performer himself.

Also featured in the ad – a number of the NFL’s top prospects for the draft that goes down April 25 and 26, including University of Georgia’s Matt Stafford and Texas Tech’s Michael Crabtree.

K’naan is currently on tour in the U.S. and plays the Coachella festival today (Sunday) in Indio, Calif. Following that gig, he joins up with Snoop Dogg for a run of dates beginning May 4 in Little Rock, AK and wrapping up May 17 in Hilton Head, SC.
