The way to challenge somebody who thinks sexuality is a choice is by turning the tables.
When Travis Nuckolls and Chris Baker asked a group of straight people on whether being gay is a choice, the two switched things over by asking their subjects when they chose to be straight.
This is absolutely perfect and the responses here are surprisingly lovely and very reasonable. Hopefully this video can make others understand sexuality a bit more.
Somebody give this couple free gas FOR LIFE, because they definitely know how to have fun. With a free tank of gas on the line, news anchor Jack Rafferty gets this musical pair to belt out Bon Jovi and the Eurythmics.
This is what I call true bliss and happiness. These two also seem to be great fun during karaoke sessions.
Sometimes people forget that celebrities have feelings like the rest of us. So much so, that people will even go out of their way to tweet mean things towards them.
Luckily enough, many celebrities are able to take insults with a grain of salt. In fact, they’ll even play along like the good sports they are!
My personal fave here is Ray Romano. Don’t ever insult a comedian, because he/she will DEFINITELY have something smart to say back.
While we can all admit to ourselves that a haircut can make or break our appearance, at the end of the day, hair is basically just a bunch of dead cells growing on our head.
So why not cease the moment by getting your hair did by Zach Galifianakis?! While he may not be a professional, it’s not every day that someone famous gets to cut your hair…right?!
A lucky woman (or not so lucky..?!) got to get the chance to have her hair played with by the comic actor. But the results were unfavourable.
She’s clearly upset about her hair, but it could look great evened out.
Just chill girl, because it’s not every day you get your hair cut by a celeb!
(P.S: the hair cutting starts about 8 minutes into the video.)
You know your child has officially entered into beast mode when he can get through anything.
Testing out the ever-so-ticklish scalp massager (well, for me it’s bothersome…), this child is able to recover quickly after banging his head on the table.
I swear, kids are built like machines. It’s too bad we tend to get more sensitive as we age
Demi Lovato takes travelling to a whole another level. While we normal folks are content with stealing toiletries and maybe even the odd towel from hotels, the “Heart Attack” singer takes pillows.
A newly blonder Demi explained to Ellen Degeneres why she’s always photographed clutching a pillow at the airports during her most recent visit to show, saying she just wanted to be prepared for her next flight.
“Flying is really tricky if you fly as much as I do,” she said.”…I didn’t know if for those five hours if I was going to have the lay-down seat with the nice pillows that they give you or if you’re going to be stuck with the ones that don’t go back at all.”
Oh, Demi. Can we just be BFFs already? You, me and Jennifer Lawrence would make a great rag tag team.

In the world of celebrity news, there’s no shortage of hits and misses. This week, Kim Kardashian looks like a couch at the MET Gala and Miley Cyrus is Maxim’s favourite beautiful lady (not their wording but we’re trying to stay classy. Key word: trying).
MISS: Whatever Kim Kardashian wore the MET Gala
This Kardashian, who is well-known around the world for her, um, reality show and is also a self-proclaimed trend-setter. Unfortunately, my zero desire to buy floral dresses that look like my grandma’s couch hasn’t changed especially after seeing her at Monday’s MET Gala. The worst part? Kanye didn’t seem to mind it! Come on Kim, we know you can do better…
HIT: Miley Cyrus is #1 on Maxim’s Hot 100
Twenty-year-old Miley Cyrus used her Twitter account to let the world know that she received the number one spot on Maxim magazine’s Hot 100 list. She tweeted “Didn’t know this was coming out yet! I’m so happy to be #1 on Maxims HOT 100! #myfanskickass #dreamsdocometrue.” And to the joy of Miley fans around the globe, she tweeted: “I was bored. So I got Instagram.”
MISS: Gwyneth Paltrow is a wet rag at the MET Gala
Gwyneth Paltrow, told USA Today, “I’m never going again, it was so un-fun.” Apparently, the Iron Man star said fashion’s version of the Oscars red carpet was “too crowded” and “boiling.” And this is why people like Gwyneth Paltrow as much as they like Anne Hathaway—which isn’t saying much for her.
HIT: Prince Harry is Touring the United States
Like we really needed a reason to goggle at Prince Harry, he’s currently touring the United States of America. Never mind his wild trip to Las Vegas last year. Here’s a picture of him and Michelle Obama being all, “let me graciously represent my grandmother who still loves me even though my butt is plastered all over the Internet.” Never change Prince “Hot” Harry.
MISS: Lauryn Hill Goes to Jail
Effortless style is easy to have during the warmer seasons. Mostly because you can just put on a short dress paired with some cute flats and you’re good to go. Emma Watson put the trendy in casual while she was shopping in New York City this week. Love her pairing of the drawstring pants, a simple striped tee and cardigan. Those soft yellow loafers just add to this actress’s effortless style.
Want to look trendy while dressed casual? Try these pieces:
Summer fashion is always fun. The warm weather finally gives us a chance to break out cute sandals and summer outfits after months of layering up for the cold. Unfortunately, with the best comes the worst. There are always those individuals who look like prime candidates for an episode of What Not to Wear with their socks and sandals, barely there outfits and Crocs.
Sorry, but ANDPOP is playing fashion police as we beg you not wear horrendous summer fashions. Please opt for cute floral dresses and simplistic shirts and tank-tops if you want to stay cool during the summer.
10 Fashion Don’ts
Platform Flip-Flops

Do I even need to go on…
Tube Tops

How are people still wearing these? How did they ever exist? Calling this a top is generous.
Not Bandeaus But Not Crop Tops Either

Calling these tops is very generous. Walk into TopShop, Forever21, or Brandy Mellville and you will be shocked at what is being passed as a top – these are not even half a top, maybe a third of a standard top. Might as well just wear a bra.
Skirts/Shorts with Ugg Boots
Jennifer Lawrence and Sarah Jessica Parker share a moment on the red carpet.
It can be tough to find the right outfit for the Met Gala. There’s so much pressure to be dressed the best and the competition is steep! Like I said in Part 1, this year’s punk theme might have been a bit too high concept for some people to wrap their heads around. So while some celebrities made some honest but failed attempts at going punk, some celebrities completely ignored the theme all together. So here are our choices for the ones who did not quite make the best dressed list and the ones who completely missed the mark all together.
The Blahs
There’s a lot of the classic Taylor Swift elements going on in the dress, but I find the black so jarring on Swift. Perhaps if this was in Swift’s go to white colour it would work better.
Blake Lively looks like she is channeling her inner Black Swan, but there’s nothing very punk about this.
I love Jennifer Lawrence but this just seems like a case where a celebrity was contractually obligated to wear this design. J. Law is the face of Miss Dior so it makes sense why this happened. It’s pretty but not amazing.
Move over Sophia Grace, Ellen Degeneres has a new adorable young act and his name is Kai. When Kai visited Ellen for the second time he managed to acheive a lot between his visits: he met Bruno Mars on a plane, got Ellen to agree to be his girlfriend, and belted out a tune. You will not be able to handle all this cuteness. He serenades Ellen with “When I Was Your Man,” and got her a bracelet. Who can say no to that? The best part is when Ellen says “Well this is going to make news,” when he asks her to go steady. Poor Kai didn’t get the memo.
During last night’s playoff game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins, the camera caught what looked to be Leafs goaltender James Reimer’s wife, April, giving Elisha Cuthbert the stink eye with Cuthbert returning the favour with an expertly executed eyeroll. Apparently, this happened after Cuthbert’s fiancé, Leafs captain Dion Phaneuf, made a critical error which ultimately costed Toronto the game.
With everyone so eager to pit female celebrities against each other, the stink eye heard around Twitter created much speculation that there may be a feud between the two hockey wives (or soon to be). Sorry to say that’s not the case.
April Reimer tweeted the following to help curb the onslaught of rumours:
For those who were thinkin @happyelishas and I were rolling our eyes @ eachother. Was the jerk beside us #rudecomment twitter.com/april_reimer/s…
— April Reimer (@april_reimer) May 9, 2013
Cuthbert also chimed in with this tweet:
Things are not always what they seem. I’m insulted and disappointed by a lot of these Comments. That’s real. Not a 3 sec. Clip.
— Elisha Cuthbert (@HappyElishas) May 9, 2013
Whatever the case, they have bigger fish to fry the Leafs are trailing the Boston Bruins 3-1 in the playoff series.
Forget karaoke, this is my new favourite party game!
John Krasinski stopped by Studio 6B Tuesday night for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon where he challenged host Jimmy Fallon to a lip-sync off. The two of them took the stage for three heart-wrenching performances each. Jimmy “belted” out “Over the Rainbow” from an 80′s Star Search performance, “Don’t Cry Out Loud” by Melissa Manchester and “They Want EFX” by Das EFX. John, on the other hand, performed “Teenage Dream” by Katy Perry and “Peter Piper” by Run DMC. Things got pretty romantic when John started his lip-synced version of Boyz II Men’s “I’ll Make Love To You.” If you didn’t love John Krasinski already, this might be the moment you start loving him.
They are both so awesome and adorable. In my book, they’re both winners.
They may not be super sultry and sexy, but these new ad shots for Haggan Dazs involves two things I love- ice cream and Bradley Cooper. And although they may not be super sexy and alluring, in my opinion, the 38-year old gets the job done.
Now I’m not saying that I have a major thing for the blue-eyed dreamboat but I did have a weird urge to head out and buy some ice cream after seeing these photos from his latest shoot as the new face of Häagan Dazs. The photos show Bradley all dapper in a suit sitting on a couch eating a tub of the creamy frozen goodness all while a beautiful woman sits beside him who Bradley just doesn’t seem to care too much about really. Instead he puts on a smile that says, “I got my Häagan Dazs. I’m good.” Understandable, because HE’S THE FACE OF ICE CREAM.
COOPER. YOUR JOB? HOW DID YOU GET IT? By being good looking? Okay, but there’s no possible way you’ll be eating all that ice cream. Can you send some to me?
What do you think of Bradley Cooper as the face of Haagen Dazs?
Beyoncé arrives fashionably late at this year’s Met Gala.
Fashion’s biggest red carpet took place this week as celebrities, models, and designers descended upon the annual Metropolitan Museum of Art ball. This year’s theme was punk in honour of their new exhibit Punk: Chaos to Couture. While that was a fun idea, not that many attendees were able to pull off the punk concept. It was kind of like watching an episode of Project Runway where the episode’s challenge was too far out there for some of the designers to wrap their head around. It indeed resulted in one of the craziest Met Gala red carpets ever with so many spikes and studs paired with outrageous hair and makeup! I kind of have a feeling that next year’s theme won’t be so high concept (your move, Anna Wintour)! So let’s check out who made the cut on our best dressed list. And check back for Part 2: The Blahs and the Oh No’s!
Best Dressed
Nina Dobrev can rock on stage and the red carpet in this look, a perfect combo for the gala’s theme.
Loving the studded detail on supermodel Cara Delevingne‘s gown.
Nicole Richie‘s white hair was so jaw dropping and totally badass! The dress might not be punk but the overall look is. Read more…

When Jennifer Lawrence attended the famous MET Gala on Monday, she did something that made us love her even more: she photobombed Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker. In an attempt to liven up the event, Jennifer expressed her excitement of being there by jumping into Sarah’s shot on the red carpet. Seriously can we just be best friends with this girl? Even Marion Cotillard is loving her quirkiness.
At a recent Frezno Grizzlies game, the Kiss Cam turned its attention to the audience but one guy wasn’t having any of it. The guy rejects his girlfriend three times when the cam swings their way, opting to continue his phone call instead. Obviously, this doesn’t bode well for him or their relationship as she eventually gets fed up and dumps her entire drink on him, all to the audience’s sweet applause. I think it’s safe to assume this relationship is officially over.
One point for the girl who sticks up for herself and zero points for being a douchebag.
To say Colin Mochrie’s Twitter announcement of the return of Who’s Line Is It Anyway? has overcome us with happiness would be a major understatement. The upcoming CW revival of the improv show favourite sadly won’t see Drew Carey return to the desk. Instead, Aisha Tyler has been granted the prestigious and difficult task of filling some pretty big shoes. However, we’re sure she’ll help deliver some great laughs especially with Mochrie, Wayne Brady and Ryan Stiles by her side.
So with the news of its comeback, I think it’s only fitting that we stroll down memory lane and revisit some of the best moments from the show that made us erupt in side splitting laughter.
Ryan Hit’s his Head on Glass
Some of the funniest moments came when they were completely unexpected. Playing Carroll Channing who’s head keeps getting stuck to objects, Ryan got a bit carried away when he overestimated the distance from his head to Drew’s desk and shattered its glass. There were no injuries so we can all laugh at it.
Stephen Colbert on “Let’s Make a Date”
When Stephen Colbert guest starred, he morphed into an “Overly Dramatic Shakespearean Actor” for the skit “Let’s Make a Date.” All in an attempt to woo bachelor Wayne.
Richard Simmons in “Living Scenery”
If you’re drinking at the moment, I suggest you stop while watching this “Living Scenery” sketch with Richard Simmons. Colin and Ryan are a couple on a luxury cruise liner while Wayne and Richard are their props. Let’s just say things go wrong pretty quickly.
Zachary Quinto may be playing Spock these days but it was Leonard Nimoy who made it iconic. In this new ad for Audi, the two are in competition and it’s not over who does the best “Live long and prosper” line.
The two race each other to see who gets to the golf club first with the loser buying them lunch. It’s less Fast and the Furious and more Driving Miss Daisy but the whole bit is pretty great. We finally get to see Leonard lose his cool, get beeped by the censors and sing a song about Bilbo Baggins, which should be a win in anyone’s book.
Well, here’s some news that made it feel like it’s Christmas morning.
They may be on their Take Me Home world tour, but the boys of One Direction have also been working hard on their third album. They hope to have out by Christmas and it looks like they may just hit that goal.
In a recent interview with MTV, their ginger buddy, Ed Sheeran, let the cat out of the bag by claiming that the album is already finished! (Cue the squeals!) But if you were hoping for another Ed Sheeran/1D collaboration, you won’t find it on this next album. Deciding to keep his songs for himself this time around, Ed didn’t contribute anything.
“I haven’t done any songs on this one; I’ve actually kind of cut myself from giving any people songs at the moment, because I want to make my album,” he said. “Once my album’s done, then we’ll see. But their album is already finished.”
Ed has become One Direction’s biggest collaborator, having donated already three songs for their last couple of records, having written hits like “Moments” for Up All Night, “Over Again” and the swoon worthy “Little Things” for Take Me Home.
Ed or no Ed, this album is will be at the top of every Directioners’ Christmas list and have us dancing with joy. Yay!
